Location: This unique property is set in five acres overlooking one of Europe's finest beaches with spectacular views of Connemara and the Islands. Silver Strand House is the ideal location for mountain climbing, walking, cycling, fishing and surfing. Safe sandy beaches nearby, also three Blue Flag beaches. Close to Delphi and Atlantic Adventure Centres, boat trips to Clare Island and Inish Turk .

Five minutes drive away there is a small local shop, Post Office and Roman Catholic Church. Louisburgh is a fifteen minute drive where you can enjoy Pitch and Putt, a good Restaurant, grocery shops and pubs withTraditional Irish music  

Westport is a half hour drive and there you will find Pony riding, Golf courses, Sea angling trips, interesting little shops, many pubs with live music, a choice of top class Restaurants, Wesport House and Children's Zoo, Roman Catholic Church and Church of Ireland.

Bedroom Facilities: All bedrooms have tea / coffee making facilities, hair dryers and bathrobes. Additional bathroom, cots and extra beds available on request.

General Facilities: Full communication facilities, telephone, fax, satellite TV and video. Sauna with en-suite facilities. Living room, dining room, study, kitchen, kitchenette, utility area with laundry facilities and adjoining shower room and toilet. Additional bathroom.

The owner of Silver Strand House is a keen fisherman and angler and will gladly advise interested parties. He is also a talented Traditional Irish Musician who plays in the local Pubs and can organise Sessions if requested.
