Sorry about the flooding, Jack, but at least there is wet stuff falling from the sky. You seem to go from one extreme to the other, poor thing. But I know that water damage is a major pain!

Mr. M, that was heartbreaking loss. This March Madness really is quite crazy. But how exciting for the winners, eh?

Hi All.

We had a very bad storm last night lots and lots of drought breaking rain and hail and very strong winds, millions of dollars worth of damage in and around Perth,We had a few large branches down off the jacaranda trees and a bit of flooding in our family room so we had a bit of work to do this morning,we had no power from 4pm to 1am,another storm is due in tonight but they say it won\'t be as bad.

Hello all! Happy Birthday Boys! I hope you had a great day. Tired, so I\'m off to bed. Mar don\'t spread those tired bugs around. Actually, I don\'t believe I technically slept last night. I know dolphins can sleep using only half of their brain, I believe I have decided to do that. Anyways goodnight all. Another snowstorm tonight.

Love and Hugs,

Steph

Nice Mayo sunset on CAM5 THANKS Eamon & Webbie. We had a great sunset here yesterday, I watched it in the rearview mirror, not red like that but a bright orange. Then we drove into a real gullybuster rain storm that lasted all the way home.

Great cleeks, Webbie. Boots Randolph...magic, and Roy Clark wasn\'t any slouch, either. Thank you.

It\'s overcast here today, we might get a few showers. That\'s OK, the plants need water. I got some dwarf snow pea seeds to grow in a container, I never tried to grow them before, I\'ll let you know if I get a crop.

I\'m off to plant my snow peas, Y\'all have a good day!

Mornin\'...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICILIN!

Not retirement quite yet, is it? Another year at least, I think? You always measure it in numbers of issues to put to bed, rather than years, and at 2 newspaper issues a week, the math defeats me. Have mercy on us number challenged people, and tell us in years. And have an excellent birthday. Are you having a cake shaped like a newspaper? I prefer a birthday pie, kind of like Mr. Mies cheesecake, chocolate would be great, with whipped cream, or maybe Key Lime. Anyway, have a great day.

Jalapeno in the beans Patricia, delicious and warm. I would like to try some okra in there though . Snow has melted but will the pear and peach blossoms survive? Don\'t count on a fruit basket though, GBers. Happy Day to All...

Happy Birthday, Mr. M & Mick! Lots of March birthdays here.

Clarence, that looks like a mean pot of beans there. Just what was needed on Saturday. The sn*w has melted here, thank goodness, but yesterday the bitter north wind was still puffing its way through town. Hopefully today will be more like spring.

Annette, we vacationed in the Blue Ridge mountains when I was a kid. I liked them better than the Rockies. And our kitchen is at a standstill. The contractor was sick 3 days last week. I have officially started nagging. Good news, though, the horse fence is completed and we\'ll be moving horses around as soon as it warms.

Thank You all for the Birthday greetings.

We had a very peaceful day. We drove to the Columbia Wildlife Refuge to try & find some Sandhill Cranes. We saw 1 flock flying very high just before dusk, but no pictures.

It was a nice trip, we visited with friends from the resort where we have our first tournament. Mike is recovering from neck surgery & Marilyn from eye surgery. Oh, & their Chihuahua Joey. Mies calls him Cujoey & he tried to live up to his name.

Pat-Strawberry Cheesecake, my favorite, & not enough room for all those candles, which would only add to global warming anyway

Yee-Hah, Clarence Langford. Great meal on CAM 5 today, Tezas stew and cornbread. Yum. Just what you need on a cold day.

Is that a bit of okra I see on that spoon? Somebody at your house knows exactly how to do it. Good for you. I enjoyed the pic. Thank you.

Hello, Mr. Mies, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

:BD

Had a full day, I just got back from town, and rushed in here to send you that wish.

What kind of special cake is Mies making for you? Chocolate, with butter cream frosting and big pink roses? No? How about a fish-shaped cake with green frosting and red fish-lips like the one we had down at the river some time ago? That sounds better. At any rate, I hope you are having a special day.

Pat
