Ha, just checked my spelling on my last cleeks, I meant \"epidemic\" not \"epedemic\", that probably is some medical term that means something entirely different. I noticed that I said I wasn\'t a \"god knitter\", and I\'m not, but I really meant \"good knitter\". Good knitsperson? Good knitmechanic? Good nitswoman? Good knitaholic? I don\'t knit enough to be a knitaholic, though. Never mind.

I saw the Oscars last night, and damned if Angelina Jolie hasn\'t stolen my St. Patrick\'s Day clothing color scheme, plain black with emerald green accessories. What a nerve! At least mine are more glittery, I have a necklace made of those small shiny green plastic sequin shamrocks on wire, and the shamrocks are always falling off, so I go around shedding shamrocks wherever I go. Seems like a nice thing to do on St. Patrick\'s Day. Which reminds me, the day will be soon.

I\'m off to listen to the cleeks, then back to work after lunch. Y\'all Take Care.

Mornin\'...

Hello, Clarence Langford from TX, and thank you for that poem/description of the CAMS. Very good.

Micilin, there seems to be an epedemic of internet problems. There is probably somebody who understands all that...but it\'s not me.

Treasa, I am not at all a god knitter, but those little hats are probably easy enough for me to do. The only problem is that I have to buy buy some red yarn, I don\'t have any on hand. I do have some purple, that knits up into those fuzzy, hairy scarves, but I can\'t use that because I don\'t know of any hairy purple fruit or vegetable.

Hello chaps

Mies - belated birthday wishes, I tried to get on over the weekend, but that pesky gremlin\'s gummed up the works again.

Liz - nice you\'ve got family coming to stay - I\'m sure you\'ll have a great time.

Like the pic on 5 - evocative of a time before Beeching scrapped Britain\'s little lines.

Hi everyone,

back from our weekend away. Had a quick look at the GB this morning in the hotel, and saw the beautiful cleek with the \'Cliffs of Dooneen\' beautifully complimenting the scenery. Couldn\'t log on to register my answer though. Anyway, back home now, tired and ready for sleep.

Just saw on the late news about the commerative service for the victims of the Australian bush fires. We pray for them, and for those left behind to grieve and try to rebuild their lives... and their homes.....

Am so sleepy now, will catch up on everything tomorrow.... full day at work, so it will be evening....

Take care everyone....

Treasa..

Jeezz, you are quick to jump in, Webbie. What were you doing, sitting on the GB controls? At least, we know you haven\'t been kidnapped.

I have to go, I have to run an errand. You be good, now.

You are right, Mies. i am probably remembering the Irish Rovers singing that...Lordy, was that the 60s? I saw the Irish Rovers several years ago in Tallahassee, they may even have done that song. Nice show, but either they were having an off night, or they are getting old, enjoyable but not as rompin\'-stompin\' as they were years ago.

Webbie, so it is \"Cliffs of Dooneen\". Sometimes you can\'t put a title to a piece, though it\'s vaguely familiar, and it\'s even harder for us Yanks or other foreigners, not having heard it all our lives. Treasa would have known it immediately.

Christy Moore is a favorite, I have that compilation of his that has the different colors on each disk. I\'ll have to get that out, I haven\'t listened to it for a while.

Great video Mark Westlake, Mies & I enjoyed it very much. We\'ve replayed it several times.

Webbie-\'ve heard the song somewhere but can\'t remember the name, if I ever knew what it was. Thanks for the Cleeks.

Pat-I don\'t remember The Bachelors version of The Unicorn only the Irish Rovers.

Annette-Sick computer, sick kid, & injured husband. What else can go wrong at your house?

Pl see the click on Pat's last message for the answer and also a very good instrumental/vocal version of the song.

Hello everyone, just a short note this evening. I have trouble with my internet connection since Friday. Sometimes it works properly but sometimes all computer processes slow down extremely and I have to wait minutes for a reaction. That\'s soooooo annoying. I will have to search for the reason tomorrow but hope this post goes through.

Have a nice start into the new week all.

Hi all, It was a pretty good trip. Very thick fog in a couple of stretches on the way over. So thick you could only see a couple of the white lines on the road. When we left Olympia to return home it was 55F. The warmest I\'ve seen late October. The sun was shining & the view of Mt. Rainer was spectacular. Guess who didn\'t take a camera? I got the good news about the bill that I helped write, it is passing in both the House & Senate, so it should become law later this year.

I never had time to shop for Mieses birthday gift. We arrived just in time for the meeting & drove straight home, only stopping long enough for gas.

Hey, Gary D. Snowing again? Take care going to Mass.

I\'m still trying to tune in my favorite PBS station on my new TV and having no luck. I\'ve got only a few more things to try...but that should keep me from being out stealing hubcaps until the Grandgirls get here.

I hope you are all having a good Sunday. Take Care.

Mornin\'...

It\'s good you survived your birthday, Mies, and that Mr. Mies drove all that time without hitting terrible weather, although fog isn\'t any fun.

Webbie, I don\'t know what the music is on Mark Westlake\'s video, though it sounds kind of Irish. Lovely video. Good bunch of other cleeks today, too. I remember that the Bachelor\'s \"Unicorn\" song got a lot of play on American radio.

Dee Langevin, that\'s s spectacular shot of the CA coast on CAM 5. Thank you.
