I saw my picture of the blue door in Dublin was on the Cam last Tuesday. Thanks Webbie. I will send a mail round with some other pictures of doors in Ireland. Anyway, I have to make up for the delay. There are pictures of Ireland still waiting in the folder...

Great picture on the Cam today, too. What a blue sky. And the white of the cottage and the green of the grass... The colours are so clear and rich in contrast.

Mies, when you are keen on remotes you can have the old ones that are lying around in our living room. hehehehehehe ...have a great time... and Mr Mies, too.

I\'m out to watch Webbie\'s cleeks. Back later...

Webmaster-Comment: A - have a look at where Micilin is heading this Easter - it looks heavenly and very inexpensive by Irish standards anyway:

Yippee, I\'m connected to the world again. I had a whole range of problems the last days. Including hardware-, software and provider-problems. I sat in front of my laptop all day long and tried to solve them. I googled a lot to find help in the net and usually there are thousands of other users with the same problems. So, I could find an answer to nearly all of my questions. Just a broken switch was left yesterday that had to be repaired in a computer shop. I don\'t want to have that mess again but I guess my laptop won\'t care. Funny thing, my mother called me this morning and said \'Help, help. Our computer is frozen. What can we do? hehehe

Treasa, I am sure Mr. Mies will have a good time on his fishing trip, they don\'t even have to catch anything, they just like to be out in the woods with their buddies and have campfires and things like that. My Dad used to go deer hunting every year when there wasn\'t a deer within 100 miles, they just mostly took pictures of each other in their hunting clothes holding their deer rifles. I think they just sat around smoking and drinking beer and telling stories for about a week. They all came home empty handed, but happy as clams. That\'s just the way they are.

Nice cottage on CAM 5, Mark Westlake. I want to be there. I covet that place, it\'s so peaceful.

I\'m off to bed early, I\'ve got to be in Tallahassee by 8:30 in the morning for a meeting. Bummer. I hate going places early in the morning. Y\'all be good.

Geez Mies that\'s funny, I also heard the Gene Pitney songs from my pram. Even then they set my heart on fire.....

Mr. Mies, hope you have a great fishing trip. No wonky knees, no overweight problems, just sheer pleasure.... and Mies you enjoy your sheer pleasure also..

Pat, thank God you are allright, and didn\'t get hurt or anything by the electrical adventures. I wish with all my heart that we had an \'Obama\' figure here, who would give great speeches, and let us believe that there was hope on the horizon.... but we have no one..... WE WANT OBAMA, WE WANT OBAMA...

Liz, as I type \'The Boss\', is on to our Australian friend, and he is looking forward to being here for the summer. He is doing \'Novenas\' for a good summer in Ireland. (explain to everyone what a Novena is).

Got to go to bed now.....

Ash Wednesday and all, but I still had a glass of wine..... sorry Sean A....

I needed it....

Stay safe everyone... Catch you all later.

Hi all..

Thanks Liz, I\'ll take you up on the offer for tea...

Very gray day here. Breezy but not too cold. Rain has reduced our snow piles by a lot.

Mr. Mies leaves for his annual Freeze-out fishing weekend tomorrow morning. Brisket is all smoked, cut and bagged. Ready for shore lunches or snack from boat. I have a whole 3 days to myself. No cooking or sharing the remote!...ME ME ME ME!!...GAWD, I am almost giddy just thinking about it....heeheehee

Liked the Gene Pitney cleeks, forgot about those old songs...of course I first heard them from my crib as a wee babe...Anyone want to buy a bridge???

Off to get that tea...later all

Mornin\'...

Beautiful day here, the sun is shining, I think cold weather is all behind us for this winter. That\'s good, I\'ve been bringing plants in off the deck because of cold nights. A person can get very tired of that very quickly.

Steph, your daytime temps are as warm as ours have been here. I\'m sure you are enjoying that.

Poor Val, Treasa, or rather poor you and The Boss. They can break our hearts by acting sad when we leave them, but they get over it very quickly and are having a great time while we are still feeling guilty about leaving them. There\'s a lesson to be learned there, but I\'m not quite sure what it is.

Delightful place you are going to be at Easter, Micilin. May every day be sunny while you are there.

I\'ve gotta go start my day. Y\'all keep well.

Pat

Hello chaps

Webbie - Thanks for the link to the Oddfellows , it really is a super family-friendly pub and I\'m hoping that as Easter is later this year the ospreys will have returned to their nesting site at Bassenthwaite Lake and I will be able to get some GB-worthy pics.

Mr Mies - Love the spider. I\'m also trying to lose a few dozen pounds and find that giving up the booze in the week a big help - I\'m also walking the dogs further before work now that the mornings are lighter earlier.

Pat-The knees feel a lot better, the weight loss & riding my exercise bike 5 miles a day seem to have helped. I had blood tests done last week & all the numbers are down. It all seems worth it now, but it was hard not to eat that doughnut at work today

Hey, Guys, How are you doing?

Good for you, Mr. Mies, to stick to your diet well enough to get results like that. Does that make it easier on your knes?

Just stopped in to say \"Hi\", yes I have been busy today. I needed to reassure Mies and Treasa that I hadn\'t electrocuted myself.

Watched Obama\'s speech tonight...the man is truly an excellent speaker. No matter weather you believe or not, you are convinced that he believes in what he is saying, and there\'s something very clean and fresh and uplifting about that.

I\'m off to bed early, Y\'all be good.

Mick-Thanks for the offer of Chips,Sausage & Ale I\'d have to break my diet for that, but it sounds worth it. 19# gone so far & 21# more to go. (Yes Mar I\'m one of the overweight fishermen)

Mar-When you leave home at 3:30am you\'re bound to forget something, this time it was my camera. I\'ll be sure to take it this weekend to the February Freezeout fishing trip. I\'m sure you would like pictures of 20 or 30 overweight fishermen. Right

Maria-That game is supposed to be unwinnable, I tried for over a month on & off & never figured it out. Mies has also tried several times with the same result.

Treasa-Our daughters dogs do the same thing, try to guilt her into taking them or staying home. I\'m not sure who is pet & who is master. Usually she leaves them home & we go down & take care of them for her.

Liz-They grow up way to fast don\'t they. Tell Reghan Happy Birthday for me, I\'ll be gone on Thursday fishing.

I\'m going crazy with FreeCell number 11982. I took it as a challenge. But I can\'t solve it. Did Mr Mies win it? Usually if I can\'t do it at the first go, I try it one way and another and finally I have it. But this one resists every attempt. Treasa, cards solitaires on the pc is really an addiction with me, I think that perhaps I should turn off the pc and not play any more. Well, by for tonight. O must go on with ll982 again and again.

Take care. María

Hello all...

Geez Treasa, I hope Pat didn\'t get zapped by that lamp...Just kidding...I\'m sure she\'s busy. Sometimes there\'s not enough time in the day. Mr. Mies also loves that spider game. He\'s hooked...

Looks like a cool place to stay Mick and Mr. Mies would definitely take you up on the food and drink...

Mar, no worry about forgetting my Birthday,..sniff, sniff, ...I forgive you...You are busy, girl..

Liz, I hope Reghan\'s feeling better. Give her a big hug....

Dermot, looking forward to seeing what your new camera brings us on cam 5...

Had a quick read through the postings. Notice we had no Patricia today. She must be busy...

Mar, good to see you are back to your cheery self, and no computer problems. I owe you mail and photos. Will get round to it shortly.

Annette, I owe you mail also, and photos. I thought for a minute that it was 10 Downing Street we were looking at??

Then I realised we don\'t have a 10 Downing Street in Dublin.

Love the photo though.

Maria Asuncion, I also love Spider Solitaire..... It just takes up hours of your time. Thank goodness there is someone else like me, I thought I was the only one....

I am not familiar with free cell, I must look into it.

Liz, I found when I loose a long post if I hit the back arrow button, more often than not, my post is still there. I know it is so maddening when you loose a lovely long post. Take care Liz.

Well, I thing sleep is catching up with me...

Everyone else, take care, catch you all later.

On Friday when we taking him to kennels, he cried all the way. Now, usually when he gets in the car we turn right out our gate for the beach. To go to kennels we turn left. Well, he jumped in the car and lay down as usual as we drove out the driveway, but then the minute we turned left, he sat up, started to look out the windscreen, and then started to whinge. He kept it up for the whole journey to kennels. He had his snout on \'The Boss\'s\' shoulder and was crying and crying. It was touch and go as to whether we would leave him or not..... But Carol at the kennels is really lovely, and she took him in her arms, and he was licking her as we left.

Hi everyone,

A bit late for me, but sleep evades me again. Had a busy day at work and also yesterday. We have let so many people go, and now the work falls back on the rest of us... The office is virtually deserted...

As the kennels were closed on Sunday, we couldn\'t collect Val until yesterday (Monday).

I was so sad on Sunday evening without him. One time I was in the sitting room, and \'The Boss\' went into the kitchen, and started to say \'down Val\' as if Val was jumping on him. He said it to try to cheer me up, but it had the opposite effect....

Anyway, the greeting I got when I came from work yesterday evening was just THE BEST. He jumped on me, and licked me, and ran around me, and just went totally mad.... It went on for a full 30 mminutes before I could get him to calm down. He is the most clever dog.
