OK, Little Chickens, I am off to do my Saturday housekeeping.

It is nice here this morning, the sun is shining beautifully, but we are in for storms and gales this afternoon through tomorrow. That almost always means my electricity will go off, so I\'ll see you when I can.

I hope you are all having a good weekend.

Micilin, Liz is just kidding, never change, please. Men who love and appreciate ladies are the best. It\'s what makes the world go round. Webbie loves all his girlers, too, that\'s what keeps us happy on this GB.

I wish Treasa would come on and tell us what amazing event has happened at her house. She kind of left us hanging in the air about that. She didn\'t seem upset, so I am assuming that it was a good event.

Hmmmmm. I seem to be having better luck getting my posts in. I wonder if putting new batteries in my mouse had anything to do with that.

And listen to this, I got my favorite PBS TV station tuned in on my new set...had to move it into the bedroom with a window to the southwest where they broadcast from, but now it is super. Holy Mackerel, I am getting to be a real techie.

Ha, ha, Webbie. Cute cleeks of the little kids telling stories of the saints. There is nothing as adorable as a youngster seriously trying to explain something, and the animation was brilliant, no wonder that series won prizes. It\'s a treasure.

Very good girl singer you\'ve been featuring, too, Webbie. Nice presence, lovely smile. Seems to be developing quite a following on YouTube...is this the new way of breaking into showbiz?

Mornin\'...

Bummer. I\'ve lost several posts to this GB the last few days. I can write \'em, but they just fly out into cyberspace when I hit \"submit\". Gawd, I don\'t even know what words of wisdom I was trying to impart, but they are lost forever. I do remember, though, that I said I loved the CAM 5 boat picture that Deirdre Murray sent us, and Mike Lester\'s Roman ruins in the south of France. Great shots, both. Thank you.

Well wadaya know - a gremlin with a sense of humour.

Rather gloomy Saturday here in rural Bedfordshire, but I daresay I\'ll find something to do to keep me out of mischief.

Naughty Liz casting aspersions on my character.

Can\'t think what you mean - can Mr Annette trust me.

Back from dinner, no one in the hot tub tonight, the pump froze up last night.

Carne Asada with sauted onions & mushrooms & a short meeting about out proposal that passed the State Legislature yesterday. I feel great about it and it only took 4 years to get it passed. With all the budget cuts the Wildelife Dept. are taking this year, it wasa great time to get somrthing passed that they think will bring in aprox. $1,000,000.00 a year.

Well of tomorrow to try to catch the biggest walleye. We have $155.00 in our Fish Pool so wish Bill & I luck........

Mr. Mies, are you sure those weren\'t buzzards circling???Waiting for a frozen body to keel over and be dinner for them...

Liz, YOU ARE RIGHT! What the heck! They could\'ve bought frozen fish at the store and save themselves from catching pneumonia...

Webbie, took a look at Kiss Me Quick cleek and she may not be the best singer I\'ve heard but she is very entertaining and fun to watch. Very flirty with camera. Interesting heritage too, Japanese and Italian, seems to have got the best of both.... I liked most everything she did...I didn\'t do all 66 though

Webmaster-Comment: ...I guess in proper surroundings and with live backing she would be as good as most. Micilin says, however, she could have done without the Japanese part - I'll have to query him on what he meant.....lorl

Oh yeah, I got a few pictures then both cameras quit. To cold I think. We had 5 eagles flying around us all day, but never landed close enough for a picture. Even our worms were frozen this morning

Back from fishing & getting ready for dinner tonight. Looking forward to Burritos & a Margarita the size of a birdbath.

Fishing was worse than slow today only a few trout caught. They are \"NOT\" the target species so anyone who caught one will be penalized. Bill & I had a couple of bites each, but no fish in the boat. Bright, clear sunny day, a little wind but not bad. It got all the way up to 30F by the time we got back. Tomorrow it will be a better, a heat wave maybe, it should get up to 35F.

Yes Pat, I\'ve got a tight grip on it. The Great Frozen Fish Event...hehehe...I\'m sure the cold weather won\'t put a damper on their shore lunch. There\'s always the tavern or hot tub to warm up at night GAWD, don\'t ya just feel for him...

I liked the Jambalaya cleek, the girl singing was real cute, I even took a peek at other stuff she did...Companions had need people/animal together shots. Good choice for Reghan\'s birthday song, very silly and happy..Still working on the rest. Beautiful sunset photo on cam 5 also...Thank You Webbie

..gotta run

Hey, Guys...

Hope you are all getting ready for a nice weekend. I\'ve been working on the computer all day, and I\'m tired of it, so I\'m wrapping it up and getting out of here.

Are you wearing that remote out, Mies? It is nice to have the house to yourself sometimes, isn\'t it? I\'m sure you are enjoying the Great Frozen Fish Festival, or whatever it is, just as much as Mr. Mies is.

Nice cleeks, Webbie. I\'ve taken a couple of breaks and checked them out today.

Obama continues to live up to his promises, Treasa, every day we are seeing him doing what the American people have been wanting for years, and if the global economic situation doesn\'t get better, it won\'t be because he hasn\'t tried.

I\'m gone, I\'ll see you later.

Hi everyone, I hope you all are ok and ready for a perfect weekend. I don\'t have time to read and answer posts now, and needless to say I don\'t have time to view Webbie\'s last cleeks ( ), because in less than a couple of hours I have to pick my sster and her boyfriend at the airport (a busy busy week ahead I have!), but I\'ll try to be here as often as they let me, I promise

I love Dolly Parton - both of them.

Mr Mies - you take care out there in the wilderness with your heated cabins and hot tubs - sounds mighty tough.

Surprised the fish are even biting in those temperatures.

Whatho chaps

Annette - Never mind him indoors, catch the Hamburg ferry to Newcastle Upon Tyne, take the A69 to Carlisle, turn left onto the M6, hang a right at Penrith I\'ll meet you on the A66.

As webbie says, the Oddie is still relatively cheap to compared to some other destinations. Bed and full-English breakfast is only 25 if you stay for more than two nights.

Anyway, that\'s another week at the cutting edge of local journalism at an end, nothing exciting to report, but there\'s still the weekend to go.
