Mornin\'...

That scene on CAM 5 is one of the prettiest shots we have ever had on the POD, Dee Langevin. Magic. Thank you.

Phillis, I\'m so sorry about how long your kitchen renovation is taking. Must be really annoying, and it had better be just perfect when it is finished, or there\'s a contractor who\'s name will be MUD.

That storm must have been awful, Jack 2. So much damage. Amazing. Wilder and stronger weather events are what scientists have said we wll get with climate change. I hate to think that hurricane season will be starting here in mid-June. Nobody\'s immune.

I still don\'t understand why \"meridia\" was a bleepable word, Webbie, maybe I need to study up on my swear word repertois (repertwah?, reportage?) never mind, \"swear word list\"? I don\'t want to be falling behind on that.

Gotta go, I\'m off to the dentist today. Have a good day, Everyone.

Hello, Liz! No, the kitchen is still in shambles. Waiting on the contractor. He\'s behind now due to his illness. I guess helpers don\'t work without the boss. We spoke last night and he has agreed to work on Sunday. I hate to have anyone work on Sunday, but it\'s been almost 6 weeks with no kitchen. That\'s just ridiculous. Anyway, should be progress soon. How are things in your world?

Walking into the bar, Mike said to Charlie the bartender, \'Pour me a

stiff one - just had another fight with the little woman.\'

\'Oh yeah?\' said Charlie, \'And how did this one end?\'

\'When it was over,\' Mike replied, \'She came to me on her hands and

knees.\'

\'Really,\' said Charles, \'Now that\'s a switch! What did she say?\'

She said, \'Come out from under the bed, you little chicken.\'

Aw, Webbie, have a heart. Now everybody will think I said a bad word, but I NEVER swear, it\'s Mies who swears all the time, and I was only talking about the \"median\". Hey, it wasn\'t even the correct word for that space between traffic lanes, I just realized that. It\'s too early in the morning for games, and I\'ve got to get dressed for work. Shame on you, to torment me at this early hour. I\'m gone.

Mornin\'...

That is a beautiful Agapanthus on CAM 5 today, the \"Lily of the Nile\". A very favorite of mine, they are many of them around here in plantings in road meridians, where they are subject to a certain amount of pollution from automobiles, and neglect, and they bloom wonderfully. I have had one for many years, and could not get it to bloom...it made wonderful foliage, and even new offshoots, but it would never bloom. I dug it up and put it on the deck, and unfortunately it got killed by the cold in the winter. That photo, aphids and all, inspires me to plant some more in a sunnier spot this year. Thank you, Kristin Kjaer. It is a beautiful pic. Yep, Ladybugs would have a feast on that Agapanthus, Annette. But Ladybugs like to go out to lunch, too.

I\'m off downtown today. Y\'all have a nice Wednesday.

That’s a beautiful blue flower on the Cam today but it seems there are a lot of plant louses on it… principal food for the ladybirds.

Annette, I took the camera to the pasture on Saturday, but the horses wouldn\'t come up. They were busy enjoying the new grass and didn\'t care about the hay! The photos would have been too far away. Now we have two of them penned up and ready to move, only it\'s supposed to rain today. Saturday, sn*w storm; yesterday, 82F with bright sunshine. Today, rain. It\'s bizarre weather.

Webbie, I enjoyed all the cleeks of the last days. There are so many talented people in the world... Thanks.

Phillis, I\'m sorry that your kitchen work is on a standstill. But perhaps you have a bit time now to take a photo of your horses. May I start nagging about that, too? hehehehe

Pat, good luck with your snow peas. We had a nice day, too and temperatures are to be around 20°C/68F tomorrow again. What a step-up to the last week.

Mar, thanks for the photos. Nice to see you had a great time. London really IS an amazing city...

Steph, I hope you had a better sleep last night. Sometimes too many things are spinning around in your head.

Hello chaps

Thanks for the birthday wishes - you really are a spiffing bunch.

Sorry it\'s got to be a flying visit but the work police are on the warpath again and I just don\'t seem to have time to log on at home.

Pat - Just to clear the fog, I\'m only counting the LBOs and it\'s 51 issues from today to retirement or 11 pay days from Thursday.

But between then and now I\'ve got my Easter pilgrimage to The Lakes and two weeks annual leave in the Scottish Highlands - bliss.
