Hi there again!!

I know all about the festivals up in Bundoran. I grew up in Bundoran and moved to the states when i was 5. Great people there. I come from a long line of Gilbrides in Donegal . Do u know any? Talk to you later

Webmaster-Comment: ...well Big Tom in Castleblaney must be yer grandfather...ehehehe. It's far too many years back since I knew Bundoran though I was there about 3 years ago. I used know O'Gormans which was the last pub on the right as you head for Ballyshannon. It's a nice town ok and has grown a lot in recent years.....Slainte.

Hey

That would be great to have a cam at the hollyrood. My aunt work at that hotel. You going to McEniff. He is a good friend of my family. He is a damn rich man with that great northern hotel of his. Well talk to you later.

Webmaster-Comment: I trained Brian McEniff at football and now he is manager of the Donegal team. Yes he is a very wealthy guy and so is his brother Sean. You should come over to some of the music festivals they ahve in Bundoran or Ballyshannon - loads of young people there.
Bye for now

Hi! It\'s me again!

I\'m curious about the weather in Dublin, if is it very cold? As Ireland is a big island, irish people go to the beach?

Now it\'s 15:22 in Brazil, and the night usually comes at 18:00. As you see here the night comes first.

Bye bye, and I promise this is my last comment today!

Webmaster-Comment: By comparison with Brazil it will be cold but pleasant.
Yes we go to the beaches but that is usually in July and August and we have plenty of beaches. No problem answering your questions - if I can.

Hi

I have a daughter working in Dublin for the past year. I\'m trying to get her to walk in front of camera 4 so we can see her on the street

I like the site very much.

Webmaster-Comment: Hi

If she stands on the traffic island she will easily be recognisable - just tell her to wave. Hope she enjoys life over here. Slainte

ps=I 4got to ask, on Cam 4, at the bottom of the screen where the traffic lights are, there seems to be 2 concrete forms with what appear on camera to be gold plaques? What is the inscription on those plaques or are they some sort of container for newspapers etc.? Or are they merely stone traffic barriers on the cross walk for the pedestrian traffic? I\'ll see you at O\'Sheas one of these days, even if you have to have a ciggie outside (I am not a smoker, and my guinness always tastes better when it is unadulterated by charcoal filters)

Webmaster-Comment: Gary
...our streets are not paved with gold.....We would call those "bollards" and they are situated at each end of the traffic island. At night time they are illuminated. The "gold"/amber is purely there to make them more visible at night time when illuminated. At night time us Irish drivers have a huge tendency to wander on the road just to even out the traffic.....ya know....no point in having a road for traffic in both ways if there ain't any traffic coming in the opposite direction so we wander.
No plaques.
The smokers are now beginning to take up the deep south habit of chewing tobacco instead of smoking.......and you know what problems that brings about....course it means that the women are left out......ehehehehehhe....but sure I remember when ya woulnt see a woman in a bar at all.....ehehehehehe (dont ya all attack me at once cuz I can still run) - Slainte.

Hi Webmaster (do you have a first name?)Dub seems a bit soaked today. It is our Memorial Day Holiday here (in honour of the War Dead) & it is dreary indeed in both the physical as well as metaphysical sense. I saw a few vets out, flags aflying, but not much of a day for out of doors activities. We took the kids to see Shrek II and that was the gr8 enjoyment of the day. If U like animation by all means go see it with your family. I hope both Dub & Scranton enjoy brighter weather in the next few days, & I wish right now, even with the rain, I was at O\'Sheas having a Guinness....talk 2 u again, Gary in ole\' Scranton,Pa.

Webmaster-Comment: Hi Gary
We have been having a little rain of late but nothing much. In our climate you can expect rain at anytime and few extremes altho this is changing. The occasional tornado brews up nowadays.
We have a holiday next Monday and dont ask me for what. It's our June Bank Holiday. We tend to have a lot of holidays over here.
No luck with O'Sheas. I'm barred. Started talking politics in there one day about 20 years ago and that finished that.....lol.
I'm only part-time here cuz I have retired and they usually let me yap to me hearts content within limits.
Thats about it for now from beautiful downtown Dublin........Slainte.

Hello Webmaster: Just watching Cam 4. I can see the folks with their umbrellas and all that rain. It is a gorgeous, sunny day here in Scranton, Pa. 13 here currently with a high of 22 expected. Still, I\'d trade the weather here just to be in ole\' Dublin town. Also, thanks for your response in my note of last week. You do a remarkable job with your site, and you always bring a smile to my face with your witty repartee. Talk 2 U soon, Happy Sunday & - G.D. in Scranton, Pa.

Webmaster-Comment: Hi Gary - We have had a few bad rainy days but these are to be expected with our climate. Thanks for your kind comments. I hope the sun keeps shining in Scranton.

Hi I have recently booked a hotel on lower gardiner street for a group visit is the area ok

Webmaster-Comment: Jim
Yes the area is fine. There are very few places on earth now that one can say with confidence that they are 100% safe.
We have been in Gardiner St for 15 years now and the area is improving all the time. It's best too to ask your hotel about the area - one can stray off the beaten track and that is where problems can arise. I hope it is a pleasant stay for you all. Slainte.

Webmaster-Comment: Hi Ms Connolly - I'm thinking of entering these dogs in a x-channel swimming competition to help develop their muscles. Leave out some toast for them and they will head your way - maybe when they get some sun and a chase at a few kangaroos they may improve. Slainte
