Liz, did you have a good time with your daughter at the races? What was it, horse racing? That is fun to see. Did you ever see sulky races, where the horses are hitched to a little cart, and they run a particular gait, both legs on the same side moving forward at the same time, the gait is called \"pacing\", and it is quite fast and kind of rocking, interesting to watch. We have some of the most wonderful riding horses around FL, lots in the Tallahassee area, they are a breed called \"Paso Fino\". They have the smoothest gait, the test of a good Paso is for the rider to go along at a pretty good clip and carry a filled glass of wine, and never spill a drop. It is beautiful. Tell us about your race.

Pat

Webmaster-Comment: .......I like the "dressage"......Between the big events we have the ponies pulling the little carts and flying around the place. Entertaining too. But your Paso Fino's wouldnt hold a candle to our Pied-Balds.....lol

Hello, Steffi!

I looked at your Riverton Cam! Good job. I could see the snowman on the sign, maybe your town\'s Christmas decoration? A little fenced pond, a duck pond or the kind you have to do for water retention on a building site? Maybe that\'s your park. Saw a billboard, but couldn\'t read it. I couldn\'t make the image pan or tilt...will it do that later? Are the round buttons with the numbers preset for different views? Couldn\'t make any of them work, either, but it is a good start. Looking east? The sky at about 5:30 your time was a lovely blue, with pink and gold, the way it looks at sunset.

It was fun to see where you are. I\'ve put it in my \"favorites\" so I can punch in easily to see it again. Where are the mountains?

Just checking in to see if everything is working ok,

I\'m transferring from one computer to another. I\'m tired of moving cables, innies, outies, rounds and square ends. What a bother.

Got to figure out how to transfer my address book. Well, that\'s work for this evening.

Everybody have a good day. Still hot here, Liz. That\'s ok with me, i don\'t like the cold either.

Tried to look at your website, Steph, but it was still dark in WY. I\'ll catch it later.

Have a good day, Webbie. Don\'t pray too long at the Franciscan church. (Or at the blonde\'s, either.)

Pat be careful, okay. Things like that are not fun. I was at the University of Wyoming when Matthew Shepard was murdered. The news media storms the place, and doesn\'t let people emotionally react to the circumstances. It was scarey for me, and many of my fellow students.

I hate bringing up the past. But God bless, and God Speed. May we as a nation be united with whomever is elected. Our toughest critics are ourselves, our worst enemies are ourselves, and I do not want to ever offend anyone on Webbie\'s page again, I promise, and don\'t like to break promises, because my heart breaks. Whomever is elected, I pray that God blesses him, and blesses our nation to unite within, and then to help others, if they want our help.

If I offended anyone, I am truely sorry,

Good night, and see you in the morning.

Love,

your friend in Wyoming,

Stephanie

Webmaster-Comment: Hi Stephanie...nice words from you......Well dont think there really was an offence but sure arent we all just human. Dick is a kind gent who airs several views here. He has some strong feelings in certain areas and he has been with us for a while.
Your response to Dick reminds me of a little story of minute importance. A girl on reception work at our "dusbin" collection depot received a call for me one day and I was present (having just left me cart outside). It was from a brother of mine. She blurted out "your brother Dick wants to talk with you" and burst into uncontrollable laughter. I was a long while about figuring out in my head what her problem was.......lol.....And that was about 7 years ago........eheheheheh.

Anyway Steph we are delighted to ahve you here so dont you worry one little bit. And Dick forgives you as well I'm sure......Slainte

Hello, Everybody...

Great excitement in Tallahassee today. I went down to the Capital Complex, where the Capitol, the State Supreme Court, The Gov\'s office, all the government buildings are located. I got there just after they had a bomb scare in the RA Gray building, where I went, and workers there had been out of the building for several hours. Secretary of State has offices in that building, the State Historic Bureau, and the Florida State Museum. Big Press Conference going on, many press canopies set up out in the Plaza, candidates milling around. The person I went to see knew only that there was a bomb scare, but I guess I\'ll see what else was going on on the 6 o\'clock news.

I, for one, will be glad to have the elections over...if they CAN get them over tomorrow. Worst political climate I\'ve ever seen, this year. Nasty and vicious, even at the state level.

Pat

Webmaster-Comment: Hi Ms Pearson

Yes I beleive there is real tension in the US and a lot of confusion for the electorate. Of course bomb scares and the like are tactics used by all sides. These are indeed scarey. I can remember we had a spate of them in the 70's.

Hopefully all will return to near normality soon. My prayers are with you all.......Slainte.

Good morning everyone, Good Morning Webbie.

Anyways, I had to scrap me car off this morning. Whew, we got 2" of snow on Halloween. The curse came back. I had trick or treaters come even when I ran out of candy!!! Well I am attaching the WYDOT cam, since we still do not have the city cam up.

Here ya go:

************************************************************************ />

Check it out there's snow on the ground.

Webmaster the thing you were trying to describe is a purse. Was that the question of the week? Can I go home now. heheheheh.

Canary Islands sound good, but Fiji probably better. I can have an island, you can have an island, and Mr. S. can have an island.

I usually where lots of clothes, but when it is 19 degrees outside (Celseuis?) I where shorts, perfect weather. lol

Take care all

I am quite amazed that you know that method for reminding yourself about DST. I thought it was a secret, known only to my own family. We always all have band-aids on our fingers when the time changes. (Actually, I almost fell off my chair laughing. Good one!)

I am so impressed that I am thinking of letting you be maybe a little older, at least.

Liz, Guiness a hit at our cook-out today, many thumbs-ups. The only thing left in the cooler at party\'s end was 4 Bud Lights.

Lauren\'s team lost the soccer game, but were good little sports.

Everybody on their best behavior now, Webbie will be back tomorrow.

Ms Stephanie...I am a shy man and seldom speak unless asked a direct question...

I have a surefire way to remember about Daylight Saving Time...It is a variation of Ms Pearson\'s trick to determine worldwide time zones....Print a flat map of the earth...roll it into a cylinder...take a very sharp knitting needle and joog it into the map...when you pierce your finger, it will remind you to change your clocks.....works every time....

Webmaster-Comment: ....Seoirse.....I can vouch for that.......lol......seldome ever a word out of ya................true......

....think it's advisable to be in a standing position for that exercise as well....you can avoid the injury to your finger it you place the cylindrical object above your head and work upwards....this is the preferred method used by natives of Oz........for obvious reasons..........lorl

NE way I bet there are those who have not yet pierced their fingers and are now an hour out in their timing............silly ppl....lol
