Well, I slept in today too! My cat woke up at 3:30 am, the dog had to go out at 4:00 am, and decided I was not going to get up at 5:00 am, so I slept until 6:20 am. Okay, but think about it like this. When Webbie is sleeping I am looking in at midnight, and 1, 2, 3, 4 am. So there.

Good morning all, especially to Webbie.

Thank you Ann, that really helps. I am sure it helped many of the guestbook friends.

Well Webbie IT\'S FRIDAY!!! Yep, and I am going out of town again. What is everyone else\'s plans? Should be nice and cold out the football game tommorrow, at least the basketball game will be indoors.

Now Webbie you really should rest this weekend so next weekend you can play. I am not trying to be your Mum, but a friend. heheheheheh Take care all.

Pat I just happened to check the Riverton web cam when I saw the parade, just by chance.

Good Morning, Webbie...

Re the content of this website, I think you do an excellent job of monitoring what is suitable and what gets blasted off. I appreciate it.

Nobody minds a funny little story, even if it is slightly naughty, but there\'s a line there that shouldn\'t be crossed, and you have a natural good taste that tells you where that line is.

Nobody minds a one-liner advertisement, either. I don\'t know how effective they are, or what readership they produce, but something like taking up half a page with an ad is just rude...maybe that one was an accident.

It\'s your site, you get to decide what stays and what goes. And I\'m sure it isn\'t easy, but thanks for doing that for us.

Pat

Webmaster-Comment: .....thank you for those kind words......don't canonise me though......cuz the mad streak in me can come out at any time....eheheheheheh.....It's nice to have you all as good friends.......thanks....Slainte.

Riverton\'s still asleep.

And when she sees I\'m here first,

Steph is gonna weep.

My goodness what can this mean
Perhaps she's been out late again
Or am I being too far-seeing.

Stephanie -

Guestbook spamming (or promotion, depending on ones take on it)is a growing \"field\". You see, it\'s one of the ways to get quick, high rankings at Google (and other search engines). Especially when one targets sites that have high page ranks, like this one. It\'s also one of the few ways left to put advertising content on high-traffic sites without having to pay.

A lot of these posts, maybe most now, are made by bots - no human behind them. They just search for guestbooks and autosubmit. Looks like old \"hydro\" however, is a human doing it the old fashioned way. Bots don\'t make mistakes *l*.

There are nice ways of using guestbooks for promo - for instance actually looking for sites that have similar content (for instance webcams or irish music or travel sites). And there are the other kind.

Steph, it seems to me that anything anyone writes to this Guestbook in the way that we do shows up here. Webbie just deletes anything that is objectionable or in poor taste, which makes it like it never happened, unless you happen to get to it before Webbie does his daily (or more) clean up.

Missed your parade today. I wish I\'d known about it earlier in the day, I\'d have jumped back on to see it. Just got busy. I\'ve got a meeting to get to at 7:00. Got to go.

See ya.

I\'m like Steph, I never remember jokes, but here\'s one someone sent me yesterday, and I\'m telling it even though I am blonde.

I decided that I needed a few days off work and had run out of vacation time. I figured the best way to get the Boss to send me home was to act a little crazy, so she\'d think I was burning out and give me some time off.

I came in to work and began hanging upside down from the ceiling. Just then one of my co-workers (she\'s blonde.. it\'ll be important later) came in and asked me what I was doing. \"Shh,\" I said,

\"I\'m acting crazy to get a few days off. I\'m a light bulb.\"

Then the Boss walked by and asked me what I was doing.

\"I\'m a light bulb!\" I exclaimed.

\"You\'re going crazy, suffering from burnout,\" she said. \"Take a few days off.\"

With that, I jumped down and started walking out. My co-worker began to follow me and the Boss asked where she was going.

\"I can\'t work in the dark,\" she said.

Webmaster-Comment: ...ehehehehehe....good one......thats like the two mad guys in the asylum......in a dark room.......one guy with a flash-lamp and shining it up into the corner of the ceiling......"hey I bet ya cant walk up that beam"..replying "..to be sure I can....I often did that"......"Would ya walk all the way up to the top".....to be sure I would.....often did that...no bother at all"......."Well I dare ya do it..here I bet ya 10 dollars ya wont do it..........."......."Is it a fool or what ya think I am.....sure when I'd be hafl-way up that beam you'd turn the lamp off on me....will ya go away out of that....".....eheheheheheh..

By the way Webbie, how many people a year get ran over at camera 4. When I watch it I watch those people and the buses are so close sometimes. Geez. Cameras look really good too! Keep up the good work. (I mean get to work) lol.

Webmaster-Comment: G'morning again Stephanie......there is a "pedestrian crossing" at that junction but traffic backs up into the "pedestrian crossing" and pedestrians use the opportunity to cross at that stage.........

Slightly changed positions of cameras but will have to put them back later......whats this about tame deer.......they joke us irish about pigs in the streets....lorl...eheheheheh

Hey, WebMaster...

Good to see you are better. We hate it when you\'re sick and don\'t talk to us. I don\'t know where Steph is this morning. Out punching cows and tormenting chickens? She\'ll deny it.

Veteran\'s Day here, I have a holiday from work. We fly flags in our village on special days, so I\'ve been down to the corner hoisting the American flag, the State of Florida flag, and the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flag. We should all say a prayer for those in battle in Iraq today, (including the poor Iraqis), and hope that peace comes soon.

Have a good day, all.

Last night, all alone in a bar room
Met a gal with a drink in her hand
She had baby-blue eyes, cool blonde hair
And a smile that a guy can understand.

Then she came and sat down at my table
And as she placed her hand over mine
I found myself wanting to kiss her
For temptation was flowing like wine.

And I was almost persuaded
To strip myself of my pride
Almost persuaded
To push my conscience aside.

Then we danced and she whispered, "I need you!
Let me take you away, and be your woman."
Then I looked into her eyes and I saw it
The reflection of our wedding band.

And I was almost persuaded
To let strange lips lead me on
Almost persuaded,
But your sweet love .......made me stop ......and go home.
