Hello, Mike OZ, I didn\'t think there was anything at all in the west of Australia except kangaroos. Yet there you are!

Nice to hear from you.

Mike CA, Brian can also probably help you with the money exchange question when he drops in.

Brian, write your more than 1000 characters, when it tells you that, \"go back\", highlight the first half of the message, go to edit and \"cut\" it, it will go onto the clipboard. send the second half. Then make a new post, put your cursor in where you want the first part to start, go to edit again, and \"paste\". Youu\'ll get first part. Write \"continued\" at the bottom. Then your message can be read top to bottom in the right sequence.

\"Up the Dubs\", right Gerry?

Steph, Steph! Wake up, it snowed in Riverton. I saw it on your CAM this morning. It looks very pretty.

Hi, Liz...I\'m just raggin\' Brian for fun, sure he\'ll be all right, God Bless him. How are you? Did I understand you right, did you say your Aussie Santa has kangaroos instead of reindeer?

Hi, JoAnn, any new snow up there? It is so pretty the first day it falls.

We\'d better be good, Webbie will be back soon to sort us all out.

Good Morning (afternoon your time) Webbie: Guess what-we are having severe storm watches again. It has rained non stop since midnight (now 10 am our time) & we have received in excess of 2.5 inches of rain with wind gusts up to 50 mph. I looked in on cam 4 & suprise of suprises, wished I were walking up the steps of O\'Sheas. Went to my wife\'s high school reunion (won\'t say which one or she\'d kill me) and enjoyed a lovely meal with a few glasses of Guinness! Have to shower now & run to mass. Hope you all have a gr8 week ahead, & that we\'re all blessed with a week of warmth & sun! I want the ground to dry out! God Bless webbie, peace to the world, & Happy Monday\'s to all!!!!Gary d. in the wet lands of good ole\'Scranton, Pa.

Mr. S., you got me again. I was reading along, feeling very sorry for you that you would be so attached to such a horrible scary painting, until I got to the last line, and nearly fell off the chair laughing. Good one.

That painting was stolen from a museum some time ago, wasn\'t it? Might have been recovered. I think, though that he painted quite a few versions of it. One version would have been quite enough for me.

Did enjoy your answer, have a nice evening!

Ms Pat....You have posed a difficult question concerning our \"heroes\".

There are some people I have met in my life and numerous others that I have only read about who I admire.

Since you and Ms Steph have chosen to discuss painters, I will speak of my favorite in that genre of artists.

My favorite painter is Edvard Munch.

His painting, \"The Scream\", has evoked a deep feeling in me for years and I have done extensive reading to help me determine why this happens.

Finally, one night, after studying a picture of the painting for hours, the answer came to me.

The look on the person\'s face in the painting exactly conveyed my feeling when I saw my ex-mother-in-law for the first time.

Mike, Steph is right, Brian has threatened to wave a flag or a poodle. Might be tough on the poodle. You hold the cards here, you threaten not to leave the price of a pint for him unless he promises not to wave anything except a flag, including poodles or underwear.

I\'m sure when Webbie gets back he will help you to find the best Irish dancing place for you to take your girls. He knows everything, he\'s a regular travel agent.

JoAnn, you haven\'t turned in your \"Who is your Hero assignment\". It is good for our souls to contemplate things like this from time to time. I won\'t name names of other delinquents, yet, but one of them is named Mr. S.

Hello everyone!

Mike...set up a time so we can see you and your family at O\'Shea\'s. Have a great time in Dublin.

I was in Dublin for Saint Patty\'s week way back in 1987. I\'ve been in love with the place ever since.

Now with webcams....we can kind of visit everyday.

....I love this place.

Good Morning, Everyone, Rise and Shine!

Mike from California, what a neat thing to do, to leave the price of a pint at O\'Sheas for Brian. Brian is the resident \"bad boy\" on this site, and we are all hoping to get him in and out of Scotland and Ireland without some dire consequences.

I hope your family has a wonderful trip, get on O\'Sheas steps at a particular time and wave an American Flag and we\'ll look for you. You\'re a lucky man having 3 granddaughters. I only have 2, but I wish I had a dozen.

ALRIGHT, TROOPS, WHO ARE YOU IN LOVE WITH, WHO ARE YOUR HEROES?

Good ones, Steph. Durer\'s \"Praying hands\" is truly a masterpiece, but we don\'t really see it, it has been used so much. It\'s worth taking time to really look at it again, so simple and beautiful, every wrinkle delineated perfectly, they are not young hands, but they speak of a life of quiet piety.

I paint, too. I like florals and portraits. I\'ve thought that that shot on your CAM at Riverton, in the morning when the sunspots are on the lens would make a wonderful abstract painting. The sunspots block out almost everything realistic, and it has such movement and streaks and lovely, soft colors, and that one sharp spot of inky blue on the right top. Riverton abstracted!

See ya!

My, I am talkative this morning. Filling time till I go have your turkey sandwich for lunch, Steph.

Brian, I have it on good authority that Webbie will turn up on Jan. 5, but he will be wearing a rented gorilla suit, riding his bike with a sign on the back saying \"Webbie\'s Rolls Royce\".

Mr. S plans to be there in a Knight-in-shining armor outfit. All of this is quite everyday, shouldn\'t cause too much notice, so don\'t worry about drawing a crowd, or the police.

Okay Pat and everyone,

My heros, and people admire:

Franz Liazt, he was a sexy composer and great musician.

Albrecht Durer, I don\'t know why. An art professer compared my work to his.

Vincet Van Gogh such a shame he had to become famouse after his death.

Gustave Corbet another famous artist. The Burial of Onans, never seen but in books makes me cry knowing that real people\'s faces are painted in it.

Of course, hope not to offend anyone, Jesus Christ, who died so that we may live again.
