Sorry about leaving you stranded in Lacoste, Webbie. Ransom note flew out of the car window into a swamp on my way to the bank and was gobbled up by a gator. Didn\'t know where to send the money. Glad you made your way home, though.

Webmaster-Comment: ....ahhh.....I see....ya just wouldnt call for help.........Seoirse is used to joogin those 'gators and would ahve convinced the perpetrator to release the note........ehehehehehheheehhe...oh but you tried anyway.....

Big Z, Darlin\', I hope you are swimming home for Christmas. Don\'t let Mr. S scare you about gators and caymans, there\'s nothing in the deep sea to harm you. Except monsters like Nessie, and sharks, LARGE sharks...

JoAnn, I saw Kris Kristofferson on TV recently, (he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame for songwriting,) he played a little of \"Me and Bobby McGee\", credited Shel Silverstein with co-writing. I didn\'t realize he was the same person who wrote the childrens\' books, until Mr. S pointed it out. Never put 2 & 2 together, I guess.

Webbie, you aren\'t too art oriented, are you? Are you speaking of writing on Men\'s Room walls? I\'ve seen a few of those,(in a professional capacity), quite an education.

Graffiti has been raised to an art form on trains here. Beautiful

writing on the sides of boxcars in U.S., can\'t always read it, but it is graphically very good, there\'s an artist out there somewhere with some spray cans of paint and nothing much to do.

Poor Webbie, such a Romantic about Love. Of course it changes...but it\'s still love, just different. Women are much wiser about that than men are.

Good choices in heroes...Kennedy is still much loved by many Americans. His charm couldn\'t be denied. We will never know what things he might have done, or might not have done, but Johnson ran on, and implemented his programs. A glamourous but tragedy-prone family.

I had to look up your Taoiseach Haughey. Not up on Irish politics. Interesting person. Did you used to be a gun-runner before you were a Webbie?

Mother Teresa...a beautiful soul.

Anybody who doesn\'t turn in his/her assignment soon gets a big goose egg. (Liz loves John Wayne.)

Everybody have a good Wednesday.

Pat

Webmaster-Comment: ......Kennedy was depicted alongside the pic of the Pope in a fullpage/double page colour spread in a national Sunday paper. That pic is probably still displayed hanging on walls of some Irish houses. We revered him. We dont want to know about being stupid at that time. It was the feeling of well being which was created by the man and by his publicists and it lasted for a long time. Indeed we didnt forgive Jackie for a long long time when she went and married Aristotle - him and I were shipmates once....he owned the ship and I shovelled the coal....ehehehehhehe.

As for Charles J.....well he instilled a lot of confidence in people and in the country......had he chosen a different career I'm quite sure he would have been as wealthy or wealthier. He was very good to the needy and approachable.....sorry if I seem to be preaching and I'm sure lots of Irish wont agree with me........sin a bhuil....Slainte

Mother Theresa was a "walking saint". Totally devoted to others and without gain for herself. A kind and saintly woman.

Well everyone today the temp was -4f with a wind chill of -13f. Not too bad. I plug in my car Webbie, so it will start in the morning have a heater on it. My old one didn\'t -long story on that, let\'s put it this way I want a truck - a beast-- So Webbie when it gets in below 0*f degrees you should plug the car in so it starts good and runs fine, then ya just got to slowly gas it when you turn right so you actually move out of your spot. hehehehe

Glad to see you back. If it is warmer over there maybe I should move there to Dublin. heheheheh lorl. Well anyways take care friends, and Liz send some sunshine this way.

Love and Hugs today

Webmaster-Comment: ...yep....all their shops are now closed........said they were losing money........BUT....what really is happening is that property in the city is worth a lot more than the profit from the business. So, they sold the sites a short time ago and pocketed some nice dosh and then they leased back at fancy rates......sooooooo......not too difficult to create a situation where returns from the business would not be sufficient to cover high outgoings for the lease etc......the end of an era.......Wouldnt ahppen in old Victor Bewleys time.......ni bheidh a leitheid eile aris ann.....is mor an naire i..........Slainte.

Hi, Steph, are ya snowed in yet? didn\'t have time today to go look at your CAM. No, I don\'t go out in that madness to shop on Black Friday. I just wait until the last minute, and drive myself crazy.

JoAnn, enjoy every minute you spend reading to that little one. You are making memories that will last forever. I read aloud to my three until they were 8, 13 and 14, and the 14 year-old\'s boyfriend used to come over to get in on it. They could all read themselves, of course, but it is such a nice, cozy thing to be read to. The last thing I read to them all was Tolkien\'s \"The Hobbit\", then the older ones went on to read the trilogy themselves. I wouldn\'t take a million dollars for those memories. And they are all still readers.

Everybody have a good Tuesday. Maybe the Wandering Webbie will be back.

Pat
