Hello everyone, I\'M BACK! That was a week with the renovation of our living room. New wallpaper, new fitted carpeting, new pile of problems... Franka helped me a lot and the men had to move the furniture out and in again. But there are always problems that you didn\'t calculate before. We were ready this morning and now I\'m fed up with all the renovation work for the next years.

I couldn\'t read all the posts but looked for your cleeks, Webbie. There are some great ones. Good for the Mulkerrins Brothers. I like their show.

Liz, just saw a report about the oil disaster on your beach. Not nice for you... I wish your daughter good luck with her operation.

Clare, \'the flasher\' is cute. Seems to be pretty curious...

To all I missed...

Well the first signs of spring may be showing here. Yesterday I drove by some flooded fields & meadows that were covered with migrating ducks. Nanother as covered with 100\'s of very large white swans. Several were on the water & more circling around above the field. WE are thinking of taking a drive today to get some pictures.

The outside it\'s a cold rain, but most of last weeks snow has gone. We only need 5 more inches to break the all time record of snow for a winter. I hope we don\'t make it, I\'ll settle for 4th place this year.

CRITICISM IS NOT OBJECTIVE !

[ BUT ACTUALLY SOMETIMES CRITICISM IN A POLITE FORMAT MAY BE A GOOD THING ]

I WAS ONLY STATING THE FACTS FROM A FEW YEARS AGO . WHEN PEOPLE IN YOUR COUNTRY READ THOSE OLD STATS. MAYBE THEY WOULD SEE THERES A BETTER WAY . TO SEE OTHER SIMILAR COUNTRIES AND TO COMPARE CAN BE BENEFICIAL AS ONE CAN ADOPT THEIR POLICES IF THEIR CULTURES ARE SIMILAR.!

Howdy Pardners

Sunny day in Dublin town and in Heath and Reach, Befordshire. So it\'s true what they say - the sun does shine on the righteous.

Patricia me ol\' flower - had a listen to the Boss cleek meself and gotta admit it raised the short hairs on the back of my neck.

The lie down in a dark room didn\'t do much good - everytime I closed my eyes I saw double-d cups and thought of Liz

Geez, Liz, it\'s after 1 AM and I am still up. Had to go out about 9 AM because they were putting up our new community bulletin board down in the park, and went from there to the Irish festival, and when I got home I had a nice long nap...needed it, but now I can\'t sleep.

No, the belly dancers were very dignified, not what you think of when you say \"belly dancer\", not slips of girls with 20 inch waists, either. In their 40s and 50s, I would say, one wore a tee shirt, with shamrocks pinned to it in honor of the day, I suppose, but the other two were bare in the middle. One shouldn\'t have been. The lead dancer was quite beautiful, tall, regal, looked like a gypsy queen. That kind of dancing is considered an art form in its countries of origin, and very respectable. Nice jingling bells on their ankles. I got some pretty good pictures, I\'ll send some.

Steph, I am still puzzled about the belly dancers, too, but they were actually very good. Maybe it is true, what they say, that everybody is Irish on St. Patrick\'s day.

You know, I do think that Wyoming would be a very happy place to live. Add that Mid-Western good, decent people factor to the Wyoming mountain scenery, and you\'ve got a mix that would be hard to beat.

Have some fun this weekend, Steph, don\'t study too hard and neglect the other side of life.

Take Care.

UNCLE DICK, as best I can tell you, that is http: //www. scribd. com/ doc/ 21670/ Crime-Statistics-Murders. You must take out all the spaces.

If you can\'t get that, which is the most informative as it deals only with gun related killings, google up something like \"international firearms murder statistics\" and you will get about a million different charts and opinions. You need to be sure you are not comparing apples and oranges...is the time frame comparable, do you want suicides with firearms included or not, do you want domestic violence or accidents included or not, there are so many factors to be considered you could spend years researching it.

What I know is that America is MY country, for all its bad and all its good, but there\'s plenty of both in all countries. And, as my mother used to say \"There\'s a lot of good in the worst of us, and a lot of bad in the best of us, so it doesn\'t behoove any of us to criticise the rest of us.\"

Hello all! I\'m working tonight at the paper.

Liz, I will say a prayer for Martina. It\'s sad that she has been in pain for 10 years. May God bless her.

Pat, Belly dancers? That isn\'t Irish? Got to figure that one out.

Mies, Sunny here today. Very enjoyable day. Almost 6 days til the first day of Spring!!! The birds sure are happy. Especially when I am nice to give them food. Well back to work for now.

Love and Hugs

Steph

Oh, and Wyoming has been ranked as 3rd in the US as being a happy place to live =)

Hi, Mies, Hi, Liz...

You can add this sinners to the prayer pile, Liz. Holy Mackerel, you\'ve got the premier sinners here, with Mies and me. God Bless her. Take good care of her.

Funny little squirrel sitting on the picket fence on CAM 5. Thank you, Mr. Langford.

We went to the Irish Festival at the Vintage Car Museum in Tallahassee today, great fun. Irish music, dancers, food, crafts, dogs with shamrock-printed neckercheifs, you name it, but there was a troup of belly dancers, too. Hmmmmm. I\'m still pomdering that one. Anyway, I got some photos and if they are nice when I get them processed, I\'ll send some around. Anyway, I got a CD of a pair of local Irish singers who are called \"Two for the Brew\", had a ceremonial sip of somebody else\'s Guinness (just a sip, because I don\'t like it) and a great day altogether.

Hello all from a big blue sky in Wyoming. Well just been studying and studying so I am taking a break. Snow is starting to melt now. Suppose to be in the 60\'sF next week. Flowers will be blooming soon.

Pat, and UNCLE DICK, guns are a rite of passage here for youngsters, I can\'t give statistics, but the boys I work with all have guns, and airsoft guns, which I guess look like real guns? I personally don\'t see the point to own one, unless I was a hunter for wild meat, otherwise, it\'s just asking for trouble. For the issue with our national debt, I wish we would just produce our own products here in the US, and not rely on other nations to feed us and entertain us. I can do it myself, I think that is why I am going to go back to basics, and not buy the unneeded stuff. Too bad the cars built here had there parts made here. That took people\'s jobs when they went overseas.

Love and Hugs,

HEEEEHAAAAAW YA ALL...

Miss ya guys and gals but been feeling a little shoddy lately...Fit as a fiddle now...

I always favored the Eagle\'s songs ..bang up job on cleeks Webbie..Shenandoah done by Brucie...hmmmmmm...well...hmmmmm..I sure do like the song...James Galway does a beautiful flute version and it\'s hard to beat the sweet & mournful sounds of Mairead Nesbitt\'s violin, Tennessee Ernie Ford or The Statler Bros do more traditional grassroots version, after Mr. Springsteen had to listen to one of them...hahaha...Sorry Bruce...You were right Webbie, it was special..

Gray and cloudy here. Mr. Mies went bird hunting...No assult weapons, I promise...Besides, the birds have been winning this year. I guess getting out in the fresh air and giving the dogs a work out is the best part of it any way...

Hope all are enjoying the weekend...Better Skedaddle
