Well, Webbie, I\'ll have to call this one a draw. You and Mr. S. are like two small boys, each trying to be more disgusting than the other. You say \"human toenails\", and Mr. S. doesn\'t turn a hair, just says that it sounds good and he\'ll try it soon. And I DON\'T want to know what \"pig\'s crubeens\" are. You are awful, and you are lucky that you have some nice ladies on here to keep the tone of the thing up.

Right, Steph, Liz, JoAnn, my dears? Shall we repair to the Drawing Room for tea and crumpets? And no bad boys allowed!

Equally the crubeens are genuine.....you cant get them everywhere.....though since we ahve been joined by larger ethnic groups of late very little escapes and I see "hens" necks and heads for sale...........so watch out ladies....ehehehehehehehehehehhehehe

Webmaster...I can see you had a very busy holiday season...Hope you\'re back to normal...

Ms Patricia....Thanks for the URL...Mr. Robertson has a great photo website...I have seen some of the views, but most I had not...

P.S......I knew the webmaster would be familiar with chicken feet...sounds like a nice recipe...I will try it soon....

Webmaster-Comment: ....was given that very recipe, Seoirse, many years ago......a few other little pointers here too......the toenails add further to the flavour if they are female toenails.......and for some peculiar reason that I never really found out about - from the left foot. Of course nowadays its not on the cards to ground those toenails at all as the women have their nails ruined with all that auld varnish and stuff...ya just need to be extra careful. Ya could spend a couple of weeks watchin for the right toenail (the left ones) to come along. Ya might also see from the recipe that you first discard the chickens toenails.....that is an import item.....

Thank you Patricia, your a Sweetheart, now that you have corrected my name. I used to work on Talbot street for 11 years before emigrating to Canada in 1989, Even back then O\'Shea\'s (Morans in those days) had great lunches. I spent many lunch hours in the refreshment lounge !!!

Gerry, i also told you that Brian, your Canadian countryman will be in Dublin on Tuesday, Jan 5th. Cold Duck also makes one forget the days of the week. It is correctly, Wednesday, Jan 5th.

Man, I\'m taking this headache to bed!

That address, ************************* 6/07/03/features/story1.html took me nowhere. I went to the Honolulu Star Bulletin for June 7, 2003, but couldn't find an article about chicken feet. Would you check that address again?

Here's one for you. www.dwrobertson-photography.com/homepage.html, then to Gallery, then to Virtual Tour. It is knockout. You will enjoy it.

Hello, little chickens...

Hope that all of you who woke up with a bad head this morning are recovered. I had a few glasses of a sparkling burgundy called \"Cold Duck\" at the neighbor\'s last night, though I know that red wine gives me a headache the next morning. I\'ve done me penance!

Garry from Ontario, I am sure the Webbie will adopt you, and he will give you lots of advice, which will all be bad, so don\'t take any of it.

Brian from Montreal will be turning up on O\'Shea\'s steps with 3 friends at 3:00 Dublin time on Tuesday, Jan 5th. Don\'t miss it, he says he will be waving Canadian flags and a three-legged, one eyed poodle. Then I think they plan to tear up Dublin.

Everybody \"be gud and share ya crayons\" as Webbie says. See ya.

Pat

Webmaster-Comment: ......"chickens", she says......must be the Jax influence.....eheheheheheheh.
10 large chicken feet, cut in half
1-inch piece fresh ginger, crushed
2 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
1 large ripe tomato
1 small onion, sliced
Pinch MSG
2-ounce package long rice, soaked (optional)
Ground human toenails (optional)

Will hopefully be watching out for Brian..........he may not be that frightened of our weather.........

Happy New Year!!! Well I hope it is a Happy New year for everyone. Tried to get on earlier here, but Webbie the page was down about 5 pm your time.

Everyone should know where I went to on New Year\'s Eve we went to a movie last night and out to eat.

This is not one of my favorite Holidays, but that is okay, maybe because it means another year older. LOL

Well take care all the storm still hasn\'t hit us, and I don\'t think it will.

Liz, Pat, Joann, Gary D, Gary in Canada, Zardoz, Seiorse, Ann, Webbie, Dick, Mike\'s, Jazzer, and everyone else HAVE A GREAT YEAR!!!

Just jumping in here to wish you all a Happy New Year, while it is still Jan. 1st in Dublin.

Now, Mr. S., I\'ll go along with the collard greens and cornbread, but I draw the line at the chicken feet and rice...you made that up, didn\'t you? Shame on you, you\'ll have all the Yankees and people from other countries on here thinking that Southerners are really peculiar, and eat chicken feet. Chicken and yellow rice, sure, a nice chicken perloo, but nobody eats chicken FEET, even though they throw almost everything else into a perloo. You\'re worse than the Webbie saying he likes his garden grubs!

Pat

Webmaster-Comment: ....ehehehehehhe......Seoirse has explained about "the feet"......you must skin them firstly........you know the way you descale fish.....and after that they are nice he says........ You can add to the flavour by mixing in some human toe-nails.......(ground of course).....geez dont want to be misunderstood here..........ehehehehhehe

Ahhhhhh...New Year\'s Day dinner......I will have :

Hog jowls (easy to find in Jax)

Black eyed peas

Collard greens

Cracklin cornbread

Chicken feet and rice..I know, this is usually for Thanksgiving, but it tastes good with the jowls..

No dessert, just a tall glass of sweetened iced tea...

Webmaster-Comment: .....ehehehehehhe.....ya trying to impress some of these nice ladies who are looking for a cook.......ehehehehehheheheheeh....lol.
Not familiar with the "jowls" bit.........and yes I know the area of the head.......but an old Irish favourite was "pigs crubeens and cabbage".........Maybe they do pigs heads as well....not sure.......
Whats black eyed peas...??...ehehehehhe
