Web want\'s me to describe O\'Sheas.

Well it was dark storm day, and the streets of Dublin were as grey as a nun\'s habit. As I made my way down Grafton street and then making my way across the crowds of O\'Connell St., I noted my fellow pedestrian\'s were not detered by the dismal weather. Quickly Fiona, Mark, and myself saw the beakon, the temple, the refuge..O\'Shea\'s. I quickly survey my surrounding before entering the pub. There! I exclaimed the camera. Fiona, flushed with embarressment...Sh! she said were being watched, not by the camera but by the man standing by the entrance. This man stood over us with a suspicious look and a uni-brow. \"Webby\"! I said,He got nervous and drooled over himself. (to be cont\'d)

Webmaster-Comment: ....noooooo.....it goes something like this.......It was a dismal day in Dublin. Fiona, Mark and myself peered out at the cold and dismal climate and decided to have another before we moved on and then another and then another. Eventually we realised it ahd become too dark to recognise us on the cameras and decided to stay put in our luxurious surroundings and leave O'Sheas for another day. Poodle was also consulted and agreed with the concensus.....ehehehehehehe....or something like that. On the stroke of 3 bells and for the next 10 mins a trusted officer observed the said premises whilst the webmaster observed from afar...poised to take the scoop of the year.....Fiona and poodle and Canadian flag being hoisted over O'Sheas.......maybe I should not ahve focussed on the roof....eheheheheheheh

Webmaster-Comment: Liz....all further mention of the handbrake and coins are banned at this guestbook..........lol......

This is true and happened to a friend some 30 odd years ago or so....This guy lives about 5 miles from the town where he works. Regularly he would see this neighbouring farmer walking into town so would offer him a lift. The farmer always gladly accepted and several times offered money. The driver would explain that he was goin that way in any event. Regularly the farmer would ask the guy to pull in at the petrol filling station so that he could put petrol in the car but the guy didnt want to do this. So one day, after getting the lift into town the farmer gets out of the car and goes straight to the petrol filling cap and proceeds to put a 1 note into the tank - never to come out of course.....eheheheheheheh. Well I could put legs on the story by saying that as the guy was going home his car stopped..........lol...but I wont.........but yes it's a true story......the farmer could see no other way of paying this guy except putting the payment straight into the tank.........and no....it wasnt retrieved...........lol

Hello Everyone!

I had a lot of reading to do to catch up.

Hello Brian, glad your back safely, giving that liver a break. You need to plan another trip so you can have a \"MS\" countdown.

Pat, glad the cleaning lady was happy with your good work. The change in your handbrake gave me a giggle....glad you got it sorted.

If been so sick...never in my life has it been this bad. Should NOT have skipped the flu shot this year. Big mistake. It\'s now settled in my ears....both ears infected. I\'m falling apart. lol

Webbie, what do you mean by HMMMMMMMMM Northside bars/pubs or hostels. Is\'nt the Arlington Hotel considered Northside. We were staying at my pals condo on Charlotte Quay. So we were a hop skip and jump from Party Central. Also, did some touristy thing while I was there. Went to St.Michan\'s church and was forced to touch a 900 yrs old mumified crusader by the tour guide. Scatch his index finger is suppose to bring good luck. Gross! There I was eating fish and chips with my fingers realizing I hadn\'t washed my hands. Probably had dead mumified crusader skin flakes under my finger nails. Yum Yum.

To view the pix pages, you will need to edit your browser address bar to show no space or other characters between sheas and the numerals 1 and 2...

sheas1

sheas2

Webmaster-Comment: ....I better put these on a page which will be better........also anyone wanting to show pix taken in Ireland pl scan and I'll come up with an address for them....

Good day to everyone. Glad to everyone smiling today. It\'s almost Friday, and I went to Wally world last night, and bought fun projects for the weekend. Pat, they had some painting boards (canvas) so I had to buy 2 3packs. Too much fun! Plus I bought a three shelve book case. So that will be easy, compared to the T.V. stand I did on New Year\'s eve. I shouldn\'t be saying any choice words this weekend.

Well I just wanna say Charlie congratulations also. We will be celebrating our eighth wedding anniversary. It doesn\'t seem possible. I can\'t believe he has lived this long!!!LORL

Next month I will be turning 29. Still young at heart.

Take care all. Have a great day, better yet may the sun shine on you.

Your Friend in Wyoming

Well, I jumped in here to moan and groan that there was no Webbie on here to sing us songs, tell us stories and lies, do the occasional 2+2=7, and here you are! A miracle. Note: Gerry from Portugal\'s got your number, alright!

My cousin Mike CA of the McCalls has pics of his trip. If he sends them to you and you \"put them up\", WHERE are you putting them up? Is there a website where I can see them?

Welcome back, Webbie. We are glad you are home, in spite of your bad character.

Pat
