On a qyite st where old ghosts meet I see her walking now Away from me so hurriedly my reason must allow That I had wooed not as I should a creature made of clay When the angel woos the clay he\'d lose his wings at the dawn of day.

Raglan Road. Ok lets rear yez all together now.

On raglan road on an autumn day I met her first and knew that her dark hair would weave a snare that I might one day rue; I saw the danger, yet I walked along the enchanted way, And i said, let grief be a fallen leaf at the dawning of the day. On Grafton st in november we tripped lightly along the ledge of deep ravine where can be seen the worth of passion\'s pledge, the queen of hearth still making tarts and I not making hay O I loved too much and by such and such is happiness thrown away.

I gave hre gifts of the mind I gave ger the secret sign that\'s known to the artists who have known the true gods of sound and stone and word and tint. I did not stint for I gave her poems to say. With her own name there and her own dark hair like clouds over fields of May.

Ring a ring a Rosie, as the light declines,

I remember Dublin city in the rare oul times.

Full of song and story, heroes of renoun

Passing tales of glory, that was once old Dublin town.

The hallowed halls and houses, the haunting childrens\' rhymes, That once was Dublin City in the rare oul times.

And if I don\'t remember because I was never there,

I\'ll sing this song anyway, cause Gerry\'s paying the fare.

I am a freeborn man of the traveling people
Got no fixed abode, where no man is your master
Country lanes and byways were always my ways
I Never fancied being lumbered

In the open field you could stop and linger
And the small birds sang when wintertime was over
Then you'd pack your load and be on the road
They were good old times for the rover

Sometimes we'd meet up with other people
Hear the news or else swap family information
At the country fairs, we'd be meeting there
All the peoples of the traveling nation

I made willow creels and the heather besom
and I've even done some begging and some hawking
And I've lain there spent wrapped up in my tent
and I've listened to the old folk talking

All you freeborn men of the traveling people
Every tinker, rolling stone, or gypsy rover
Winds of change are blowing, old ways are going
Your traveling days will soon be over

I am a freeborn man of the traveling people
Got no fixed abode, where no man is your master
Country lanes and byways were always my ways
I Never fancied going faster

The street market is Moore st.

It\'s just round the corner from the GPO. I started my working life there in 1962 in one of the shops as a store boy. Thats where I first met tea bags! it was part of my job to make the tea, when I asked how much tea they liked in the pot someone said 5 so I tore open 5 tea bage an put it in the pot, the staff went mad \'cause they thought I was being smart, they would\'nt believe I had never seen tea bags before, live an learn!

Webmaster-Comment: ...ehehehehe....so when they asked you to "let the tea draw" ya presented some crayons to the teapot.....lol......Dont think there is much "loose" tea nowadays.....so ya dont ahve to blow down the spout to free up the flow....ehehehehhe

Well, Gary D & JoAnn, you guys got a SNOW, didn\'t you? I will be calling Baltimore and Gettysburg later today, to talk to brothers, and I suppose I\'ll get an earful, although it isn\'t usually as bad there as in northern PA.

Charlie, I loved those pics. I like the format of that site better than the bucket one. You need to caption, I could tell the one with the Millenium Spire must have been taken from the North end of the O\'Connel St. Bridge, and the one of the river with Webbie\'s Trademark Gull in the foreground, beautiful! But I don\'t know where that fun-looking street market is.

Between those, and Webbie\' s website shots of the streets on his corner, I\'ve had a mini-trip to Dublin this morning. Webbie, were those shots of Talbot & Gardiner taken from the roof of the blue building? When we get there on Gerry\'s 747, we\'ll all be well oriented.

See you all soon. Goodnight, Liz.

Hello Everyone,

Having a great snowed-in day so far. We are gearing up for the Eagles game. I have chicken wings and some popcorn shrimp and cold Yuenglings.

E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!

Hope I\'m not heartbroken tomorrow. Not that I\'m not used to being heartbroken, being an Eagles fan.

Have a great day everyone.
