I had a lot of trouble with my e-mails the last two or three weeks. I changed my internet explorer as the Microsoft explorer was so slow after I had downloaded a free software. I sent several business mails that didn\'t arrive but I\'m not sure whether it\'s only due to the explorer or not. So, I would like to ask you, Mieses, if you got my mails last Sunday and Pat, if you got the mail last Tuesday. Hmmmm, perhaps someone also threw a bottle to my antenna? That only could have been Mies. hehehehehe

Liz, Martina will be well again. She needs her time to recover but will be fine then, I\'m sure.

WHOOOO throws bottles???????? Hah! I wasn\'t able to throw a bottle yesterday. Mick was pretty right. Yesterday was \'happy hangover day\' for me... I must honestly admit...

We had a really nice evening on Tuesday but came home late (or early how you look at it). Our poor men had to go to school and work and Franka and me could stay at home and recover. But it\'s only fair. Finally, someone has to work for the money for the next year\'s Guinness.

Treasa, funny charity cycle from The North Pole to The South Pole. Hope your chimney work is going well. The weather seems to be good for that work at the moment.

Mornin\'...

Ah, Webbie, it wasn\'t anybody from Florida that fired that bottle off...we were just wearing our tiaras and peacefully having our lunch like the ladies we are.

Humph. Calculate the direction it came from and the speed of a flung bottle and the trajectory, and you will find that it was either Mies or Annette.

I survived the 2 1/2 hour meeting yesterday, but sitting still that long is hard on the tiara.

Liz, of course Martina is hurting now, but she will mend quickly, the young do, and will be so much better than before. Tell her I send my love.

OK, I\'m off for another cup of coffee and to start the day. There\'s work all around me, I never seem to run out of that. I hope you are all having a nice day.

Treasa is having some work done to the chimney on their house where the net aerial assembly is so will be missing for a few more days. Treasa asked me to let you all know this.

Good weather for work like that, thanks be to God.

...grrrrrrr...one of those Tiaras from Lloyd threw a bottle at the main antenna and we have been off the air netwise till 930am - shame on them. St Patrick is happy to be still a guest on our POD though and he promises to pray for ya all and that includes the Tiaras.

UNCLE DICK, THAT\'S NICE THAT YOU HAVE A TRAINED GOOSE. THE MARTHA STEWART TV SHOW ONCE HAD A SEGMENT THAT EXPLAINED HOW YOU CAN GET THE BIRDS THAT COME TO YOUR BIRD FEEDER TO EAT OUT OF YOUR HAND, IT INVOLVED STANDING MOTIONLESS NEARBY FOR A HALF AN HOUR A DAY FOR MANY DAYS, BUT I HAVEN\'T THE PATIENCE FOR THAT. I\'M SURE IT WOULD BE A THRILL, THOUGH.

Which reminds me, I\'ve got to go to a 2 1/2 hour long meeting today, and I haven\'t got the patience for that either...I get antsy after an hour in meetings, got a short attention span. That\'s the schedule, though. I hope they have coffee and cookies or I\'ll never get through it.

Gotta go. Y\'all be good.

Mornin\'...

Lovely day here, sunny & pushing 80F for a high this afternoon. The most perfect weather on the face of God\'s green earth. Not bragging, it\'s just that I\'ve got the sense to enjoy it while it lasts, in another month or two I\'ll be melting in Florida\'s hotter than hell summer heat.

Treasa, you have been busy. Baptisms and all...that\'s funny about biking from the North Pole to the South Pole. That group the Boss was riding in aid of sounds like Habitat for Humanity, the group that ex-President Jimmy Carter works with. I don\'t know if they ever work overseas, but they do get together like that and build houses here.

My mail box is overflowing and that is my next job, to open all the mails.

It may be tomorrow before I get to go through the cleeks, or maybe tonight....

Catch you all later. Take care everyone.

Anyway, funds had to raised and the idea was formed to cycle from The North Pole, to the South Pole.......

The North Pole being the name of a pub in Donegal at the very north of Ireland, The South Pole being the name of a pub in Anascaul, in Kerry, the very south of Ireland. The whole trip was done over 4 days, but \'The Boss\', due to work committments, could only do the last two legs of the cycle. Sunday, was from Ballyhaunis in Co. Mayo to Ennis in Co. Clare. Monday was from Ennis to Anascaul.

The weather was just ideal for the cycle and everything went fine. On Sunday morning, we had to be up at 5am to drive to Ballyhaunis to meet the other cyclists.

On Sunday and Monday, \'The Boss\' was doing a charity cycle with a friend. The friend is a young lad who is giving 2 weeks of his time as a volunteer with the \'Niall Mellon Trust\', which is a charity that builds houses for people in Africa. The trust assembles a group of skilled people (blocklayers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians,) and they go for 2 weeks and build and complete houses. This year around 500 people are going and they hope to complete 75 homes around Cape Town, during their 10 day trip.

Had a very busy week, and don\'t know where the time went.

Work is very busy because so many people have been laid off and it doubles the amount of work for those left. But I managed to get holidays for this week......

On Saturday \'The Boss\'s\' nephew\'s baby was baptised. She is so beautiful, and at 6 months old, has so much hair that a hair dryer had to be sought to dry her hair after the ceremony. She was born with beautiful, thick dark hair, and is now so long that it can be tied up with a bobble. His partner is German, so we had lots of visitors for the weekend, including the baby\'s grandmother and great grandmother....

Hello all! And Happy St. Patrick\'s Day!!!

Many of the kids today were dressed up, and it was so neat to see them take part in the holiday. I just wish we did more here in Riverton for the Holiday.

Well I went and saw the movie, \"Confessions of a Shopalic\" and I totally saw myself in it. I soooo wanted to go shopping afterwards, but remembered the shopping I do is online, so it is easier to browse, and close the window!!!!

Well guys, have a great night, and just make sure you have a designated driver!

Love and Hugs,
