To make the seasoning, combine the rice porridge, fish sauce, garlic, ginger, chili flakes and powder, 3 oz (85 g) salt and sugar; and mix well into a red paste. Toss together the paste, onions, scallions, and carrot. At this stage, adjust the salt, sugar, and chili to taste. If a more vivid flavor is wanted, add more seasoning. Put everything into a container and cover. Serve straight away as a fresh spiced salad. Refrigerate the balance to allow the kimchee to ferment slowly.

Webmaster-Comment: ...think yer going a bit heavy on the scallions S..........doesnt mention anything about removing the legs. I suppose its a matter of taste. I have used the same recipe with the harry-long-legs but those wings are a bit irritating so I prefer without........dont know about yourself.?

Hello everyone. Webbie I think we discussed that minute thing before. I\'ll tell the LAN tech. Yeah I get a \"ZAMBER\". Liz, \"What\'s a zamber?\" Thanks for the sunshine also.

No spider soup here, ever I hope. I barely survived. Still get the chills from the thought. The problem is the trees and bushes here are sprouting their buds, so things are coming out. I think I rather have it cold than bugs.

I think all the \"Gentlemen\" must be getting ready for the big trip. Girls you know it is harder for men to pack. Their clothes don\'t always match. So our guys must be planning some matching outfits.

Pat I better stop now too! Or I am in bigger trouble.

Steph, you get the zamber. It’s a very nice little thing, Liz will tell you what it is. Just bother her until she tells you. True, you don’t need much, but it’s the thought that counts. And it’s ok to kill spiders and ants. As long as you say you’re sorry. Swat. “Sorry.” Stomp. “Sorry.” Takes the edge off.

Liz, a zax is a tool similar to a hatchet, used for cutting and dressing roofing slates. Isn’t it, isn’t it???

cont.

Holy Mackerel, Webbie knows his Latin. Bus “Terminus”, singular, ”Termini”, plural. I’m impressed.

Webbie’s Gogomobile...like a Messerschmidtt? Isn’t a Messerschmidtt an old German airplane? Can’t quite picture that, somehow. Which, upon reflection, is probably a good thing.

Now girls, wouldn’t you know Webbie would mention Spider Soup? Next he’ll be telling us it\'s nice with the Mice Croquettes. He’s hopeless.

Well, have I stirred up enough trouble for tonight? Gawd, I’m getting out of here, this place is really weird. And Brian isn’t even on.

See ya!
