Webbie, you made me burst out laughing and spill my coffee. Is \"under the Douvet\" just south of the Topsheet Peninsula?

Hello, Big Z, Darlin\', good to hear from you.

Have to get ready for work, I\'ll take time tonight to explore the musical avenues you all have laid out. One of my favorites is \"Grace\", I have it on my desktop so I can play it instantly, but the version sounds kind of mechanical, no singer, a piano behind and a horn on the melody. Got it off an Irish gov\'t website.

Good Morning, Steph. Don\'t work too hard today.

Pat

Hello everyone.

yes webbie I saw some of whats going on in Nepal it was abit rough last time I was there. Thinking about New Zeland just in case! The people outside the towns are caught betweem the military and the Maoists. Each side accuse\'s the pesants of favouring and helping the other and give them hell. They just come in to the house\'s and abuse the people and take what they want, the cops sometimes have their way with the women as a lot of the men are away working around the region on 6 month contracts. They have a hard life but nicer people ya would meet in a weeks walk.

Webmaster-Comment: ....C...you are probably more up to speed than me on this......thought it was a little worse......the monarchy restored and total cut-off from outside world and no internet.......
Trained a guy from Nepal in PO services way back......nice ppl ok.....tho caste distinction prevails.....thats a good number of years ago tho......Slainte

This guy goes into a Chinese restaurant...

...and asks for duck. The waiter informs him that there\'s no duck today. The man pulls out a gun and points it on the waiter. \"If you don\'t give me some duck, I\'m going to shoot you,\" he says.

Thinking quickly, the waiter says: \"Let\'s play a word game. Take one letter out of a word and see what word you\'re left with. For instance, if you take the letter S out of slick you get the word lick...\"

\"True,\" says the man with the gun. \"Similarly, if you take the letter E out of the word slime, you get the word slim...\"

\"Yes,\" says the Chinese waiter, but what word do you get if you take the letter F out of the word duck?\"

\"You can\'t,\" says the man with the gun.

\"Why?\" says the waiter.

\"Because there\'s no F in duck.\"

\"That\'s what I\'ve been trying to tell you!\" says the waiter. \"THERE\'S NO EFFIN\' DUCK!\"

..ehehehehhehehehe.

Webmaster-Comment: ...yep Liz I have heard that.......I like the Dubliners. But the particular song I like the best is Luke Kelly's rendering of Phil Coulter's "Scorn not his Simplicity". Another favourite was Josef Locke's ver of "the Town I loved so Well" - that song is about Derry and the devastation of the "Troubles". (also recorded by Luke. The feeling put into both songs by these artists is unreal.......
(Both Luke and Joseph have passed on)

This will bring back memories for you:
http://www.iol.ie/~ronolan/luke_kelly.html

http://www.spatty.demon.co.uk/ - Josef Locke, a lot to read here and worth it. Also some samples which Pat might like to hear and compare with Ronan Tynan.

Hi, Guys...

Just jumped in to say \"Hello\" to Liz, and \"Good Night\" to everybody else.

Charlie, I know you are going to have a great time on your trip. Get pics for the photobucket thing, so we can see what you did. And we ARE going to get you on the CAM. We missed Brian and Mike CA, but third time is lucky.

We now have 3 people out with flu at the office, makes too much work for those that aren\'t sick, nobody in the mail room, had to run my own outgoing mail thru the postage machine, etc. Nobody to run my incoming mail thru the slitter and put it on my desk, nobody to help answer the phones, I\'m getting behind on my own work. Bummer! Hard day. Just call me Patriciarella, I have to do all the work like Cinderella. Ate too many Valentine chocolates yesterday, and I shouldn\'t have topped them off with that liqueour my friend brought from the Bahamas. Tummy-ache today.

I\'m taking my miserable self off to bed, now.

See ya!

Mornin, afternoon, evening and nite all. Not long now \'till I\'m back on the ould sod. looking forward to a real Dublin pint of the black stuff and the smell of the Liffey! Have to try the new Luas while I\'m there. Very frosty in 01 last night, from what I hear. Might have to get the thermals out.Paddys day can be a bit crispy some times. Lovely weathet here, but no rain since november, we need some now. Longest dry period for this time of the year in 104 years! Ireland has rain to spare, so send some here now.Dont be gready with the wet stuff.
