Mar - Sunbathing on the beach!!!

It\'s enough to freeze your dingle dangles off here.

Knee problems are a real pain in the butt coz they stop you doing so much and don\'t get any better as you get older.

I guess I\'m not really as gone as I thought, just had a look at the POD.

Handsome dog, Mark Westlake, and a beautiful shot of him. Looks so thoughtful.

That was a nice sunset on Key Largo yesterday, too, Dee Langevin. Gorgeous colors. It\'s a nice place, Key Largo, good fishing there.

Enjoyed both those pictures. Thanks.

You\'re busy, busy, busy, Ms. Annette. Someday we will all be retired, and we can spend all day on this GB, imagine. Treasa and Mar and Steph, too.

I do believe we\'d set some records for number of words typed in a GB in a single day. Is there an Olympic category for that? Hehehehehe.

Now I\'m really gone.

Mr. Mies, dammit, I have been thinking about that sausage sandwich since you mentioned it, and have not a single sausage in the house.

Have to go in to the office tomorrow, though, and I could come home by way of Bradford\'s Country Store (google it)and bring one home for my supper and indulge the craving. Those are really good. Not even chocolate sounds as good right now.

I\'m off to bed to watch the news and see if the President said anything interesting today. Y\'all Take Care.

Bummer, Steph. I have been working so hard I didn\'t even know the Prez was on TV. I suppose I\'ll find out what he said on the 11 o\'clock news.

Sorry you have a headache. I have some of those shoe inserts, not heel things full foot things, they help you to walk right. A chiropractor had them made for me years ago when I put my knee through the dashboard of my car in an accident, and I still use them when that knee hurts. They feel like walking on stones at first, but they shift all the many foot bones back in place in a few days and you\'re good to go for a long time. Mar, might something like that help you?

Didn\'t hear about the whales and dolphins either, Didya. It is so strange and sad when they do that, it looks like they are just trying to kill themselves. Biologists don\'t seem to know why they do it, but I always wonder if it could be some fool country doing underwater missile testing, that could be harmful to them and maybe hurt their hearing and sense of direction or something. It is good that people try to help them, it must be heartbreaking to see them so helpless.

HOLY MACKEREL, UNCLE DICK. I HAVEN\'T HEARD A WORD ABOUT CHINA AND A NEW WORLDWIDE CURRENCY. I GUESS THEY ARE FEELING FRISKY, AFTER ALL THEY ARE THE ONES WITH THE BIG BUCKS AT THE MOMENT. WOULD THAT BE THE \"YEN\"? SOMEHOW \"HEY, SWEETIE, YOU LOOK LIKE A MILLION YEN, TONIGHT.\" JUST DOESN\'T CUT IT.

Where\'s the Mieses today? Is that snow getting you? Well we are to get more snow tomorrow. All the snow melted in my yard. I did take a photo of the snow coming down yesterday morning. It was wet and cold, icy, and windy all day. Luckily we were okay here. The eastern part of the state was hit pretty good.

Hello all! Well since the Prez was on TV on the shows are messed up, so I decided to do homework, even though my head hurts, and I\'ve startd the cold or getting influenza B strain that is going on here. Either way it sucks.

Mar,

I have some news for you!!!! Buy some heel inserts for your feet. I have this problem, and I am not sure if it is because of banging up my right knee or not, but my right hip to my knee hurts, and will shoot pain to where it is painful to walk. Yes, I know I should go to a doctor, but it only does this ever so often. I tend to think it is the way I sleep. But by putting in the heel inserts in my shoes it helps.

Annette, My phone and messages did the same thing, and I still missed phone calls. So much for laying down for 20 mins.

Pat, it just seems to get worse around the world. Those who make and have the money careless about anything except themselves. Sad about te oil spills.

Love and hugs,

steph

Well, that\'s all for now, tomorrow I plan to spend part of the afternoon in the beach, a sun bath will be good for my bones, I think. If I have time, I\'ll try to read and answer your last posts, ok?

Off to bed now, take care and have all the fun you can, weekend is closer!

On the other hand, the show on Sunday night was great, we thought it\'d be mainly Irish dances, and most of it was, but they also danced salsa, modern music, cabaret, classic (old Hollywood style), claquet (right spelling?), and they did an amazing number with the 22 dancers sitting in the stage border and moving only their hands in white gloves making lovely coordinations and funny sounds, with a perfect and amazing coordination, we all loved it! If you can get to see it (Spirit of the Dance), I highly recommmend it

Hi everyone, I have not much time to talk today, it\'s late and I\'m really tired now, besides today the doctor gave me not too good news about my bad left knee, it doesn\'t have a complete solution and I must get used to the idea of having problems with it every few years for the rest of my life maybe, and everytime this happens I\'ll have to do what I can to stop the pain. Today I started with the first injection directly on the knee, and the second one will be on Friday and then one more each week, up to six injections in total... and I have to put ice on it, and I can swim but the bike is forbidden (mmm, we\'ll see...)... not too good news, but anyway I hope the knee will be feeling better soon, I\'m sure it will

hehehehe, Pat, I\'m also looking for a check. I would like to hand you a bill, too? May I?

Hello everyone, I came home from work very early today and thought there would be enough time to write some mails and a longer post here. But then the telephone rang about ten times within two hours and I also had to call back some people and had to fix some appointments. Now I feel as if someone has gnawed my ears off. So, all the mails have to wait. I need a quiet place now.

Went this morning to get my truckie\'s oil changed, and had the brakes adjusted. They were getting a little mushy. Bob the Mechanic sends his regards to all the ladies.

Now the termite prevention man is spraying my house, and Lordy, it is noisy. He has the power stuff mounted on his truck and I am about tired of the clatter and whining. I hope he\'ll be done soon.

I\'ve been working for hours making CDs and labeling them for Garden Clubs of the Habitat PowerPoint I did, and I\'m about tired of that, too.

Cont.

Gave myself a little break to listen to the cleeks, Webbie. Love that Eagles version of Tequila Sunrise, with a little Mexican brass thrown in. I\'m growing some Agave plants, I think that\'s what tequila is made from. Maybe I can find a recipe to brew some. Don\'t have any of the right kind of worms to do the Jose Cuervo thing, though. I\'ll have to find a source.

Gotta go, the noise has stopped, and the termite man will be handing me a bill and looking for a check.

Bye!

Mornin\'...

I was just reading that today is the 20th anniversary of the Exxon Valdez oil spill, 11 million gallons of crude and they are still trying to clean it up along the shoreline. Made me think of the recent 60 thousand gallon spill near Queensland, Liz. I saw a pic of a worker with an oil-covered pelican. That one seems to be pretty well cleaned up, luckily, good for OZ, but of course it was much smaller. I don\'t think Prince Edward Island will be cleaned up in any of our lifetimes. That\'s a cryin\' shame.

When Lizzies Prayers are poorly said ,her Mother tucked her in little bed.She took you from your cosy cot and put her on an ice cold pot,and made her wee when she had not. Her Mother

She kept her hair neatly parted and sometimes she squeeze her till she Farted. Her Mother

and when at night her bed would squeak Lizzie would raise her to have a peep, and yelled at her to go to sleep

Well Lizzie the blaggard was on the blower to me to-night because he is fed up with you whinging to him about how good Queensland is,and he thought he would talk to me for a sensible conversation, anyway he said when you get your broomstick fixed you can come over to the great state for a holiday if you dare, and he said keep out of the water as there are a lot of sharks feeding on the bait fish
