I just read that our peace keeping soldiers serving in Liberia and Kosovo has had their Paddy\'s Day postponed. Poor guys. Because of rising tensions in both places, our troops have been deployed to the hot spots. So, no party or calls home this year.A defence Forces spokesman said \"It might be delayed, but they\'ll have their party\".

It\'s great to \"meet\" so many new people. As long as you\'re Irish in your heart...you\'re IRISH! I\'m lookoing forward to Paddy\'s Day. I used to love going into town (Dublin, O\'Connell Street) to see the parade when I was a child. I go to our little local parade now. I would have to drive 45 minutes to Dublin city centre and then the drama of finding a place to park! I\'m too mean to pay the huge prices these car park places charge!

Well I\'m a mutt. I\'ve got Cherokee Indian, Irish, French, Scottish, and who knows what else. But, I do love all my heritage, and we here adopt everyone. Brian glad your better. mailed the postcard off yesterday. crossing fingers. I hope I wrote it correctly. I had the whole post office telling me to write it exactly or it comes back from canada. Hi Mike. back to work I go. I\'ll check in later bye for now.

Elizabeth Connolly,

I received an E-mail from you with your address. But when I try to open it I get an illegal transaction has been committed. I did get and e-mail from you on March 11th/05. Anyway\'s sending the postcards soon. If anyone is interested I feel BRAND NEW! today. I\'ve sworn off the booze and cigarettes for awhile. It was a rough St.Paddy\'s day weekend. It was a very eclectic parade. Every ethnic community was represented. Kinda neat! Even after the parades 181 years the Montreal Jewish Community had a float in the parade. Dancing the Irish Jigg to Hava Nagila! Who knew? Every bar was packed to the hilt so we couldn\'t get into any of them. So we went to and Indian Restaurant and pigged out....with beer.

Hi Liz\'s cousin Ellen. Yes Ellen it\'s an addiction. You start and can\'t stop. The only problem is some of us sleep while others are awake. It will be quiet until about 9 pm your time when Liz wakes up. Baked beans, those do sound good. Give me your receipe please, Ellen.

Hello everyone. Yep Linda, you\'re right. It really is like a Summers day. I went to Swords today and when I got back to the car I looked at the temperature gauge and it was 19 degrees!! I have a wooly jumper on me and I\'m sweating!

Liz, I\'m fed up with baked beans and the like! I\'ll go back to all that rubbish on Friday!

I haven\'t even unpacked my shopping yet. I just had to nip in here to see what\'s going on.

It\'s not yet 9:00 am here, the Wednesday before St. Patrick\'s Day. No celebrating here yet, but I see ya\'ll have begun.

Liz, you are so cute with your smilies and your cousins. A great family reunion.

Nice to meet you, Ellen, and Marie, I\'m glad you liked the soda bread. Thanks for telling me so, I needed to hear it, they\'ve been picking on me terribly here lately. Hehehehehe.

A pog mor for you, Webbie, and a Happy St. Patrick\'s Day to all who frequent this site. God Bless the ties that bind.

Love,

Pat
