cont...

4 to 6- strips of bacon, raw. I don’t know what would be equivalent in Ireland, maybe some chopped fatty pieces of ham? You need the fat in the meat to be rendered out into the beans for flavor.

3 or 4- med/large onions, peeled and halved, sunk cut side up, top level with the beans, I put them in a row down the middle of the pan, and put a teaspoon of brown sugar and a little butter on the top of each onion, so as it cooks that sinks in to the onion.

This stuff is very good. And if you are good, I will give you the recipe for “Dump Cake”, the easiest cake in the world to make. Delicious, too.

Hi, Cousin Mike CA, it\'s the talkative Floridian here. About that \"Not to Worry\" shop, I asked the same question some time ago, and Webbie said it is a specialty store for Asian foodstuffs and the like, proprietor named it that as a little nose-thumbing at terrorists, as it opened just after 9-11. Nice gesture.

Yeah, that broken blind is tacky. I\'m watching those two little trees in front of that shop, they\'ve lost their leaves for the winter, when they bud out again, we\'ll know it\'s Spring in Dublin. Won\'t be long until we\'re seeing you and lovely wife under them, will it? How are trip plans coming along?

Good Morning, Sally. You\'re awake, I see. Nice day on Long Island? Gary D in good ole Dunmore PA may be along soon, he often posts on Sunday morning and lets us know weather conditions there. You all have had a horrendous winter.

Hey U.S. Guys, do you get Charlie Rose on your Public TV channel? He interviews the most interesting people from all over the world, very current stuff. Sometimes political, sometimes arts, worth watching, unlike most of the current commercial network fare.

Gotta go. See Ya\'ll.

I must say I\'m having a hard time figuring out why anybody would pay Google in Afghanistan and others of his ilk to clog up the Internet with stupid, meaningless posts. If they\'re ads, they sure do miss the point, usually there is no discernable product, and they are so annoying that if I could discern one, I\'d make it a point to never buy it, and certainly to never go to any website mentioned. The return on investment in that form of advertisement must be nothing, somebody needs a new advertising agency. However, they keep doing it so it is likely I am not understanding this process, but it sure does puzzle me.

Hi, Guys, nice Sunday morning here, Florida sun shining on blooming dogwood, redbud, azaleas, Carolina jessamine, native pear trees, flowering magnolias, very nice. Hang in there, northerners, it\'ll be spring there, soon.

Have a good day.

Hi, Jennifer from Louisiana. Yours is a beautiful state. New Orleans is one of my favorite cities. Did you know that there is an old Irish song about Lake Ponchartrain? We should ask Webbie to sing it for us.

Girls, the wandering boys will be back...they\'re just out doing whatever they do in the spring. Charlie\'s repairing floors, but I hope he\'s going to give us some pics of places in Ireland when he gets back home. I can\'t make that photobucket thing work, I\'ve tried three times. I know how Liz felt when she couldn\'t get the smilies to work. I\'ll keep trying. I can get on and look at other people\'s pics, but I can\'t put anything on there. It keeps telling me my password is wrong, when I know it isn\'t.

See Ya!

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well and having a good day/night. I didn\'t have such a great day. I had really bad stomach cramps. I had a nice long soak in the bath and that helped.

JoAnn, are you building a house? Did you have fun at the 40th birthday party?

Laura has gone over to her friend\'s tonight. Her friend is having some girls over for a sleepover but it\'s Laura\'s birthday tomorrow and she wants to wake up here so she can open her pressies so she will be home later. Her friend just lives across the street so she will send a text message and we will watch for her coming over.Colin & I were planning on making the most of our freedom and going to the cinema tonight but, like I said, I wasn\'t a well bunny. The Pelican Brief is starting on tv at nine o clock so I will make myself warm and comfy and Colin & I will watch that together. Have a peaceful night/day everyone

Pat, you were so right about the drywallers. They were hootin\' it up a bit. Problem was only one spoke English so I wasn\'t in on the jokes. hahaha This project is moving on.

I\'m going to a friends 40th tonight. I\'ll be with my girlfriends that I\'ve had for years. We\'ve been friends since around age 5. 6 of the girls will be together tonight. Our poor husbands suffer through it...hahaha. Actually they\'ve become good friends, too. They really had no choice.

Give all your girlfriends a hug today.

**virtual hugs to all**
