Mornin\'...

Good shot on CAM 5, Mike Lester. It\'s a good picture when it invites you in as it did Micilin. Invited me in, too, but I\'d do it in a little red open-top sports car. Meet you at the next pub, Micilin.

So many times, even for people who travel extensively, memories of a place are more airports and cities or famous spots, and we never see the countryside and roads and villages and places that are the true landscapes of a country. We are lucky here, we do get to see them on the POD, it\'s the next-best thing. I love CAM 5, thank you to all who contribute to it.

I\'m in another day with more to do than I can do. If I ever get retired, I\'ll spend all day every day looking back at the old CAM 5 pics, there are great ones there.

Y\'all Take Care!

Hello chaps

Looks a bit damp in Dublin.

Not too bad here, overcast with a warm west wind so it\'s probably gonna rain later.

Liz my lover, I always feel a bit perkier with the summer on the way.

Love the look of that lane and wouldn\'t I like to be strolling along it with a bit of an old stick to poke about in the bottom of the hedges.

And maybe somewhere up ahead there\'d be a little pub where I could rest and have a nice pint or three.

Webbie, thanks for the advice and the help in opening Mark\'s \'Sweet Sunday\'. You were right.. it was due to the size of the file. I opened it no bother on my laptop, and spent a lovely down time viewing it. So glad to hear about Mark\'s photo on display in Times Square, congratulations to him.

Hi Mies and Mr.M, has the snow stopped yet?? Hope you are both well.

Hi Stephanie, Micilin, Mike in Ca, Mar, and everyone else I missed.

Just seeing on the early news a story of an earthquake in Italy. Looks like some 20 people dead, and lots of people made homeless. We pray for them all.

Off to work for me, stay safe everyone, catch you all later.

Annette, I will pass on the frog spawn thanks.... but what a sweet gesture by the little boy. Lord, I had years of frog spawn, in my kitchen sink, in the wash hand basins, in the bath, in jars in the hotpress..... I wish with all my heart I could have those days back again........

Liz, those grandbabies are really coming fast now. Congratulations to your son and his wife, and the very best of luck. Sean must be getting very big now, you must get some photos around. Say hi to Reghan, how is school going for her.

I hope Sean Fada\'s grandbabies are doing well also.

Patricia, seems like you had a great weekend. You know lots of people organise events like that here, (craft fairs, summer fetes etc.), they put a lot of fime and effort into it, and it ALWAYS RAINS on the day of the event.

Very disheartening!!!

Morning everyone,

Cool bright morning, after a night of wind and rain. The weather over the weekend was really nice so can\'t complain.

Had a busy old weekend, the brother is back in the HDU in hospital, and spent most of the weekend there. He is improved now and breathing a bit easier. He was really very ill when he was taken by ambulance.... and we believe he is still sneaking cigarettes!!!!

Liz, great news about the baby. It seems your family\'s preference for birthdays is the end of the year.

Pat, it sounds you had a great time in Wakulla Springs. I looked for that website and will hear some of the music later. Enjoy your verbena.

To Mr Mies, Mick and the rest of the GBers...

Have a nice start into the new week.

Hello everyone, we had a nice and sunny weekend and used the oportunity to have our first BBQ with friends yesterday evening. The neighbours were all out, too. What a swarming in the gardens.

And I got a pretty special present from the neighbour\'s son as I give sweets or little presents or clothes to them from time to time. Now he wanted to treat me... and I got a big preserving jar full of frog spawn. He seriously explained that I could have lots of tadpoles and frogs later. What a nice present, very special. So, if anyone wants to have a frog let me know it, please.

Congrats to Mark - he must be chuffed to pieces.

Sunny start to the day here, but rain forcast for later which is good news for me, coz it means I can watch The Searchers on TV without feeling guilty I am not working in the garden.

Nice to see a dog having fun on the beach, warms the cockles.

Nice shot on CAM5 today Eamon, is that your dog? He looks very happy.

It\'s been a busy day here today, finally spring, 59F with scattered clouds. I got the driveway & all 3 trucks pressure washed. The de-icing chemicals they use here really gum up the finish on your vehicle if it sets to long.

Ha, great shot, Eamon. Sweet old dog. Thanks for that. I\'m glad you got the POD fixed, Webbie. I was starting to go into a real decline about that broken POD.

I\'m back from Wakulla Springs, amazed all over again at Nature, it\'s one of the biggest and deepest springs in the world, cold and crystal clear. Great old lodge there, too built in the 1930s, very elegant Florida-Spanish red clay roof architecture, long legged waterbirds on the wrought iron railings. Built by Ed Ball, an early Forida tycoon, related to the DuPonts.

Great live music, bluegrass and a boy flute player named Jonny Lipford who is making quite a name for himself on the Native American flute, composes music and plays it beautifully. Some of it sounds almost like Irish music. You can go hear it on his website www. (and his name) .com.

Brought home a trailing verbena plant for my garden (Pink...sorry, Mar), and a powerful need for a quiet evening.

Y\'all be good.

Pat
