My grandfather sailed to Philadelphia in 1913, never to be heard of again, i wonder if there was some way t find out what became of him, did he marry again? have a family?

His name was James Hunter, i wonder if there are Any family in Philadelphia? Maybe i should go and have a look.

Webmaster-Comment: ...one of those guys doubles on banjo ok....as far as I can remember. Carlingford is just a few miles from Dundalk and with a very good motorway from Dublin you can be there in 50/55 mins. East coast - NE'ish. Call for Linda and tell her I sent ya.....lol

Good joke.....might fall under the category or a "chicken" joke.....ehehehhe

Good night Patricia you sound tired.Elizabeth,I think Charles said something a while back about coming home from Ireland around april 8 or 9th. So we should be hearing from him soon. don\"t ya think? James is a rogue, I think. He is as old as the hills and as young as a teenager. I can\"t tell how old he is. he makes himself sound like he\"s ancient!Webbie does it too but I saw Webbie in the picture and he\"s not that old.

Hi, Sal, Hi, Liz.

I\'m having an early night, it\'s only 9:30 here, but I\'m turning in. We\'re getting a new server for our computers at the office, and some new programs, and the techies are driving me nuts. Hard day.

Have a good day, Liz, and Good Night, Sally.

Webbie, how can we name the tune when we can\'t hear any music? I\'ve looked hard at that pic for a clue. Can\'t find one. It lookd like a pub party room to me.It\'s inside O\'Sheas?

Pat

Webmaster-Comment: .....sorry about that Patricia......that picture was taken in a Beer Garden (yard) on a Sunday afternoon, about 2 years ago in CARLINGFORD. I dont know the name of the establishment. It seems that there is a similar session (its a rectangular yard with sort of horse boxes on the long sides) every Sunday. The band are standing at the back gate exit from the yard. They are also quite good - thats if you like brass and a bit of jazz.
Carlingford is indeed a dream spot and with easy access from Dublin but, as Linda says, very crowded dure to tourism.
