Linda, what does \"taking the micheal\" mean? Totally new expression to me.

Webmaster-Comment: .....and the pic in Cam 5 is of a pub in Boyle, Co Roscommon, Eire.
Someone has made a suggestion that we should feature pix (original stuff) taken by our friends here, on CAM 5. I am all for that if supplied as a scan or from photobucket or where-ever.

Now that the incident room has been set up a press black-out should be imposed until such time as a positive siting has been made.

Really, Inch High, Sally didn\'t mean anything unkind by that remark, we are all glad you are taking an interest, it has made it so much more fun, now we have another mystery as well...WHO ARE YOU? Italian \"Ciao\" at the end of your last post, but you are definitely Irish by your turn of speech. I think you are a man, also, you refer to yourself as \"he\". At least my sweet baboo, Big Z, is off the hook, I thought you might be stealing him from me if you were of the feminine persuasion. Keep on lookin\'.

I don\'t think Inch High is getting too big for his britches. As he says, he\'s only trying to help. Where is the harm in that????

I think you\'re doing a great job Inch High.

Hi Liz...you\'re probably asleep by now. I meant to say that I haven\'t seen Sara SINCE Christmas and not FOR Christmas! This early morning typing can get to you!

I will definitely get over to see her sometime in the summer but I can\'t book a flight yet because they want to move away from Hannover when Gerson finishes school and they are sending off job apps at the moment so it\'s a matter of seeing where they end up.So I can\'t book a flight until I know where it is and which airport I\'ll be flying to

All of those details about Phil D are true, although I didn\'t know he was originally from Galway.

The only pub I can think of in Raheny is The Dolphin or the Manhattan. I don\'t know any in Kilbarrack at all.

I think Liz phoned the Hound with no luck there.

Keep up the good work Inch High and if you succeed...we\'ll reward you with the bestest cape in all the world!

Hi Linda,

It\'s because I\'m a super hero

Seriously though. I read how Elizabeth wanted to contact an old friend, and I just followed the clues. Then I made some enquiries of my own.

And found out more than I expected to.

Almost forgot. Phil was involved in the trucking/transport business and owned a trucking firm somewhere on the northside. I think he also had a mini-bus hire business but I\'m not certain of that. So if anyone knows any truckers, particularly from the northside, they might well know Phil

Well I\'m still on the job and I aint giving up till Phil is found.

Lets look at some of the clues.

Phil only had a mother and father and 1 sister Patricia.

We have Patricia\'s married name and where she lives, so that\'s be a good place to start, by ringing her.

Phil isn\'t from Dublin. He was born in Galway and was brought to Dublin as a young child. His father was a building contractor.

Phil had two close friends when he was growing up and in his teens. One was \'Smithy\' from Harmonstown Road and the other Was Jimmy who lived in Pairc Lein. So finding one of these might help.

It would definitely help if someone was to ring the pubs around Coolock/Raheny (there isn\'t that many of them) in the evening and ask for Phil. If he\'s not there when you ring someone is bound to know him.

I\'ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Hey, where\'s me cape?

xxx

Hello everyone, I wish I could be with my daughter in Hannover at the moment. I\'m just in the mood to sit in her sunny kitchen and have a chat and then grt on the tram into the city centre and go shopping and stop later for lunch somewhere. That would be nice. I haven\'t seen her for Christmas and I can\'t plan a visit yet because they may be moving after my son in law\'s exams in June and I can\'t get over there before then.

I hope everyone is doing well. I have tons to do today but I\'ll be popping in and out to keep an eye on you allso behave yourselves

Linda...if Inch High finds Phil you could hire him to help you find your way home on a Saturday night

Wise choice Liz, ur better off not getting your hopes up too high, it would be very disappointing if nothing worked out with Phil. But a little bit of hope never hurt anyone. Lucky you, 6:30, i\'d love it was that time, i\'d have the workin day over & i could go do somethin with that front garden of mine!
