Hello everyone, we had soooooo nice weather since last Thursday that I wasn\'t much in the house over the weekend except for some cooking. I hope you had a nice Easter all. We had some guests one day and were out for our annual Easter trip yesterday. Usually we go to the little mountains near us early in the morning and start our hiking tour there. We also use the opportunity to hide eggs and sweets for the children (and the adults ). It was so warm yesterday that we couldn\'t take chocolate with us and it was even a bit warmer today. You could really watch the buds and flowers bursting. It\'s a festival of colours in the garden, now.

I hope Mar and Mick are having a great time on their trips. I will go and read back for some posts and watch the cleeks...

Mornin\'...

I hope Reghan is OK, Liz, and didn\'t have to stay in the hospital. Bless her heart.

Liked those cleeks of Fred Dibnah, Webbie. Funny old fellow, wasn\'t he, great climber. Everybody should have some interests in their lives like he had for restoring his steam engine, whether it\'s something like that or fishing or hiking or painting, it makes your life richer by far. How boring not to have a passion for something other than what you do every day...sad.

Nice day here, but it may rain later, so I\'m out to work in my yard before then.

Y\'all be good.

P

Morning everyone,

Easter Sunday was a perfect day, wall to wall sunshine, blue skies, soft warm breezes. But back to the rain today.

Liz, glad your feeling ok again, nothing worse than being under the weather.

Stephanie, looks like you had a great day too. Nice to be with family. Strange we are talking about mother\'s cooking. Today is actually the 20th anniversary of my mother\'s death. It\'s hard to believe. I make the dishes that she used to make, using the same ingredients but somehow, they never have the flavour that I remember.

Hope Patricia enjoyed her Easter day and egg hunt in Thomasville.

Anyway, off to face the day and more cooking.

Take care everyone, catch you all later.

Hello all! Had a great Easter with the in-laws. We ate out at local restaurant and so did most of the people they knew were there.

Liz, Hubby is well, but that tummy bug isn\'t fun. It always seems to hit during the Holidays.

Teresa, at least you get rest if your son is studying. I miss my mom\'s cooking, and wish I would of gone home during spring break. He\'ll be home soon, and eat you out of house and home.

Mieses, I see a nasty storm is coming in this week. They are already have special weather statement about it. Not sure where it is going to hit yet, but if it hits here, suppose to be lots of snow.

Pat & Gary glad you had great Easters.

Well off to study now. Everyone else, Mar, Ellen, Sue, Maria, Mike, Mick, Webbie, and all the rest of the lovely people here, Have a great day!!!

Love and Hugs,

Steph

Kind of a gray day here today, not much going on. Caleb went to his other Grandparents & our daughter went to San Francisco so we get a quite Easter at home.

Liz-Sorry to hear about your bug, hang in there it will pass.

Treasa-Don\'t worry about missing the chocolate eggs, Mies says any shape chocolate is exceptable, it all looks the same after you eat it

Mornin\'...

Happy Easter to Everyone.

Sorry about your tummy bug, Liz, but that is the right thing to do, just keep away from everyone and make sure that little Sean doesn\'t catch it. Those bugs can make babies dangerously sick.

I\'m glad the sun is shining on Ireland for the Easter Rising remembrances. God Bless all Irish everywhere.

I\'m off later for lunch and a Easter Egg Hunt in Thomasville...it\'s a nice sunny day for it here.

Y\'all be good.

Liz, sorry to hear you have rain there....

Stephanie, good luck with the rest of the papers.... I know it\'s tough going. My youngest son is going through exams at the moment too, and isn\'t home for Easter because he is studying..... My eldest son is home, so there will be lots of cooking and eating...

Hope everyone is enjoying chocolate Easter eggs.... I forgot to buy some, and when I went to the shop yesterday afternoon, they were all gone..... sold out.......

Sure, I\'m better off without them.... I might get a surprise one!!!!.

Thank you Webbie for the lovely Westlake videos. They were so beautiful.

Take care everyone, catch you all later.

A VERY HAPPY EASTER DAY TO ONE AND ALL. It\'s a glorious morning here. The sun is beaming from a clear blue sky, every ridge and rise is visible in the mountains, the countryside is alive and throbbing, and spring in most definately in the air, as the photo on Cam5 says. The crystals on my front windows are casting beautiful dancing colours around the hallway, and for a brief moment sadness takes a back seat.

HAPPY EASTER ALL! Enjoy the renewal of life!

Thanks Webbie for the videos and music.

Two papers down today, hopefully one more to go, then 4 more and revisions, isn\'t great!

I work tonight at the paper so I\'ll have time to read and write, then come home and type.

Well off now,

Love and Hugs,

Steph
