Thank you for the book cleek, Webbie. Treasa, I\'m not far enough in to the Declan Hughes one to tell if it is good, but the John Hart is excellent.

I read a study that said that men don\'t read as much as women do, something shocking like only about 1/10th as much, and then it\'s mostly sports biographies or business related stuff or the like. Too bad for them, they miss great entertainment and all the interesting things you can learn through the eyes of others. No wonder men seem so dense sometimes, they should read more.

Bummer, I had a sick headache today, spent half the afternoon sleeping it off, so I\'ve got things still to do this evening. Y\'all be good.

Bye!

I hope Micilin has a good trip, Vaya con Dios, Mick.

There is bad flooding here on the Suwannee River over in Madison County, and on the Ochlocknee River to the West. Bridges are closed. Other rivers are up past the flood stage, breaking recorsd for flooding, but those are the worst. People living on the rivers are evacuated. It does seem that weather events are getting more severe.

Isn\'t that just like Ms. Cat, to get Fr. O\'Mahoney involved in this spat. Ordinarily, I just let her go on believing I live in her house rather than the other way around, but that is just too much.

Don\'t you listen to her, Fr. O, she\'s a terrible liar. She took her half of the bed out of the middle last night, and I had to go sleep in the BFC! We\'re not speaking at all, any more. I really don\'t have the heart to shoot her with a water pistol, I\'m all she has, poor thing.

We\'ll see how she behaves tonight, I may have to do it after all.

I have to go now, she\'s biting my ankle because she wants her supper.

Bye!

Pat I haven\'t read anything by Declan Hughes, but I see Webbie has put a cleek up, so I\'ll have a look at that.

Poor Fr. O\'Mahoney has his work cut out to try to end the war going on at the moment. Good luck Fr....

Well, I\'m going to put my head on the line here and give advice.....

Dear Ms Cat it was so nice to see you here contributing to our beautiful GB. I would like to give one piece of advice.... I give it to everyone... You must put your paw down with a firm ..er.. other paw? and show who is boss.

Ooops crikey, I just realised I need my arms and legs for the rest of my life.... Going..going.. GONE.......

Rotten old morning here, wind and rain... what else???

Had lovely meal last evening.

Darn of wild Atlantic salmon, followed by pear and citrus tart with vanilla custard. Mmmmm delicious, diet for the next week I think.

Micilin enjoy your hols, and hope the weather won\'t be too bad. Forecast is for a mixed bag over the next days.

Oh dear, oh dear. I have had a call from Ms. Cat who has asked for my advice in connection with the cat fight on the GB. Ms Cat, I may add, was quite irrate and it took some considerable effort on my part to calm her. She denies ALL allegations against her and points out that if she had been given the correct guidance, at an earlier age, the the pre-twelve months pregnancy would not have occurred.

My job here is to try and restore the good comradeships which existed between you both before this latest \"tiff\" erupted. Ms Cat has threatened to reveal \"certain things\" but I think I have headed her off as regards this. Ms Cat and Ms Pat will talk shortly to try to iron out their differences and hopefully resolve the issues.

Ms Cat did say, though, that if she goes, the BFC goes with her. I think THAT might help to concentrate minds.

I\'m here to help.

OK, that\'s about it for me. I hope you are all doing OK. I\'m off to read for a while, I have a Declan Hughes murder mystery I\'ve just begun, seems he\'s Irish. Have you ever read any of his stuff, Treasa? Just finished a novel by John Hart, American writer, if you can get hold of anything he\'s written, read it, he\'s very good. That one was \"Down River\".

I\'m gone. Take Care, Y\'all.

That\'s a very pretty picture on CAM 5 today, Kirsten Kjaer. Nice angle with the gold against the blue sky. Thank you.

Oh, my, Mr. Mies. Pickled okra. I haven\'t had any for a while, you made me crave some. I love it. Got to go put that on the grocery list.

I made Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmatti rice the other night, I always order it in an Indian restaurant we have here, but never cooked it myself before, and it was pretty good. Maybe a bit too spicy, but next time I\'ll cut down a little on the hot stuff. Got the recipe off the net. It said it was the English National Dish, got popular there from all the years the English were in India, is that true, Micilin?

OK, Ms. Cat. You started it.

Who was it who stood by you when you when it was found that you had kittens on the way when you were less than a year old? And who was it who fixed you a nice box with soft old towels in it to have them in, only to find that you hated it, and tried to climb into that little round wastebasket to have them, and got stuck in there headfirst because you were rounder than the wastebasket and too dumb to know it, and who mercifully dumped you out of it???!!

Cont.

And who has opened doors for you for 15 years and gets a lot of cat swearing if I\'m not quick enough to suit you?

And who bought you a lovely little carpeted kitty house that you don\'t like at all, and who scratched my Erin when she tried to put you in it through the charming little round door?

Who has the world\'s largest collection of shredded-knee jeans because you don\'t mind using those sharp claws to get my attention? It isn\'t you.

Who has problems when you tear the entire electric bill into little tiny pieces?

Who feeds you faithfully, and who shares the BFC with you?

You even got out of spell-check kitty duties, pretending you couldn\'t spell at all. You lied...that post of yours was pretty clear. Had sentences and punctuation and everything.

Think about all that, Ms. Cat, and stay off this GB, I\'m warning you!

Annette-That\'s a tough call one of my favorite meals. Quail with brown gravy over wild rice We visted a restraunt in Texas that had all you can eat fried quail. They dipped it in batter & deep fried it, all in one piece, served with hush puppys & pickled okra.

Holy Mackerel! Ms. Cat has appeared here to try to ruin my reputation. What an ungrateful wretch...I have to go in to the office this morning, but I\'ll tell you a thing or two about that one later. She ain\'t no angel.

Great shot of the quail, Mieses. Strange looking thing to me, with that plume on its head. We have the Bob White quail here, more speckled all over, no plume. Good shot!

I\'m gone. Y\'all Take Care.

Ayup me ol\' butties

Pleased to report Mia seems to be over the squitters - no new little messages this morning.

Annette - yep she\'s a smashing little cat, very affectionate and forgiving - more like a dog than a cat.

Patricia - best cure for a recalcitrant cat is a water pistol.

Treasa - pretty wild night here too. Sun shining now though and looks like staying fine all day.

Unsettled forcast for Easter in the Lake District and I reckon I\'m gonna need my waterproofs some of the time.

If there is any further criticism of my character I will just up and leave and then who will you have to verbally attack - no one. I do not want to hear further tales. You know I have always wanted my own little bed but who would keep your feet warm then. Put two and two together and the real truth is revealed ...hmmmm
