Yes Sally it IS exciting and I am not Catholic either. There just seems to be more of an interest this time around.. I don\'t know why. I really wasn\'t interested before. I don\'t mean that in a disrespectful way.

I was listening to the radio today and they were talking about the predictions of Nostrdamus and Saint Malachi. They said that both of these people predicted that this pope who has just been elected will be assasinated. Poor guy. I don\'t know if I believe all these things. Well, I DON\'T believe in these people but they got it right quite a few times.

Nah, Co. Lú!! Cant get any better, especially the north side. Villages with Medieval castles, mountainous, the irish sea, beautiful beaches with lush green fields and hills stretching as far as the eye can see, with little dots of white where the sheep and little lambs are grazing the dew soaked grass. Crisp, fresh breeze with the warm spring sun, shining on the lazing landscape of Co. Louth on an April morning .

How\'d ya like that huh!

Just nipping back in to see if there\'s any gossip going on here.

Doesn\'t look like it.

What are you reading at the moment? I am a big Michael Connolly fan. I am re-reading \"A Darkness More Than Night\" at the moment.

Yes, I took that photo (or hubby did) on one of our many trips to the west. It\'s beautiful there. Although my favourite county is Wicklow. It used to be Connemara but Wicklow is softer.

What??!!! Is it really true that Liz\'s computer is broken, Marie? I don\'t know if I can get through a day without hearing from Liz. She must have heated it up too much, talking about real men with electric saws and stuff. Meltdown in Oz.

Hey, GREAT pic on CAM 5. Steph, doesn\'t that make you want to go see it? Us Yanks are going to have to save our pennies, unless Gerry thaws out. Is that your photo, Ellen? Really lovely, so peaceful. Sally, you do get a gold star, at least, maybe two for knowing what it is. How did you know?

Back seat hasn\'t revealed his or her gender. I see Irish eyes looking at us from the EVERGREEN STATE.

Hi to everybody else, you, too, Webbie.

See ya later!

Ireland - Today - Afternoon
---------------------------
Sunny spells for most of Ireland during the afternoon,
although high cloud will make this weak or hazy at times.
Many parts will see a dry day, however, there will be a few
showers breaking out, more especially across southern
counties, but even here some places staying dry throughout.
Winds will remain light and N-NE'ly. As a result it'll feel
pleasant in the sunshine. Temperatures recovering from that
chilly start to highs of 11-13C, or even 14C locally in
parts of Connaught - very close to the average for mid
April.
