I see the jokes have already started. The one I heard was \" I see the Holy Spirit got it wrong with this Pope. It should have been Bob Geldof. Sure we all know he\'s the real RATS SINGER. \"

I know, u could talk about that subject all day Ellen, anybody can predict something, 100\'s of years later theres bound to be something similar to happen what you said would happen, do you know wot i mean?

I totally agree with you Linda. I am very suspicious of people who claim to be able to see into the future. I hate fortune tellers who usually prey on the recently deceased.

Don\'t get me started!

I looked up alot of Notradamos (spelling!) websites & i dont believe in anything that he said. Everything he predicted was said after the event happened, i think they just look for somethin that he wrote after a major incident to make it sound like it was predicted. You could make anything up after it happens. If he is so on the mark why dont they prevent the prediction. If ya ask me i think it a load of bull.

They say he predicted that benedict the 16th will be assinated...please... sure our late pope john paul II had an attemped assination, it happens. He doesn\'t predict, he guesses.

Webmaster-Comment: ....a bit like Old Moores Almanac (not your dad Liz)....they predict loads of stuff including the weather....some of which has to be true......Tarot cards and readers are the same........who knows....

The Pope.......I'm pleased it was a fast electionand pleased for the
guy who was appointed. Yes, he is of advanced years and one of
the lucky ones to have progressed so far in age. The younger ppl
like yourself, Linda, Marie, Ellen, James and Seoirse might frown on
an old geezer being given a job of such responsibility but auld
Webbie thinks that it only serves to show that the older generation
have a lot to offer also.
I'm not really upset by the pomp of the ceremony or precedures for
the election. It befits a position such as Pope or any other religious
leader or political appointment. I would have liked to ahve seen
more majorettes tho......but thats just me........eheheheheh

I think James should be elected Pope!

What would your new name be James????

I think Webbie is far too holy to be the Pope. He\'s more like the Sister Therese of Cyberspace!!!

What a busy 24 hours! Rest at last.

I was listening to the Pat Kenny show this morning and someone was saying that it was predicted that this Pope would be from the Benedictine order and would lead the Catholic Church in a war against evil and he will be assasinated in Rome in 2008.Although Josef Ratzinger isn\'t from the Benedictine order, he spends his hollyers with the Benedictines and I think he studied with them or something in Munich.
