Morning from a grey overcast damp Kerry. Another day of rain. However, the forecast is good for the weekend, so looking forward to that.

Annette, best of luck with that oral operation. Take care.

Micilin, great to see you back from your hols. Hope you had a wonderful time. Looks like everyone else in the country went on holidays to the same place as you. So much for peace and quiet!!!!

Perfect picture on Cam5 today. Illustrates perfectly the phrase \'The reflective lake nestling in the bosom of the Kerry hills\'.

Well, got to head off to work, while I still have work to go to. Times are getting really worrying now. But heads up, and onward march.

Take care everyone, catch you all later.

Steph, thanks for the sunrise. Even a smoky sunrise can be nice.

Pat, enjoy your georgeous day.

Liz, good news about Reghan. I hope she could enjoy the funny card.

It won\'t be a nice day for me tomorrow. I have to have an oral operation in preparation for some implants. So, I\'m not sure how I feel after it and maybe I won\'t be here for some days. But wish you all a nice weekend.

Hello everyone, it\'s summer here around since about 10 days. We changed from winter to summer in one day and nearly left spring out. The spring flowers died in two days as it was too hot for them and you could watch other buds popping up. Now all is dried out and it won\'t be good when the first storms come to us. BUT, Mieses, you see how quickly the spring can skip around the corner.

Mick, it\'s nice to have you back... and nice to have your camera back. Great ending for a fine weekend.

Treasa, last year at this time of the year I was looking forward to the holiday in Ireland. You really can\'t believe it\'s past. Plans for this year are in an advanced stadium. Will tell you about it soon.

Wotcha blokes

Well as you can see I am home safe and well from the Lake District.

Not the best of trips coz the sun came out and so did the people - thousands of them - crawling all over the place with ever car parking space jammed solid by 10am.

Still never mind I had a good rest and still managed to find some quiet places to wander lonely as a cloud - well fortified with Oddys steak and ale pie, Cumberland sausage and Sneck Lifter ale.

Lost my video camera on the banks of Bassenthwaite Lake while hunting the elusive opsrey on Easter Monday.

But, wonder of wonders, some honest soul found it and handed it into the cops at Wigton police station about 20 miles away. A few phone calls and a couple of officers delivered it to the pub on Tuesday.

Ain\'t the English cops the best?

Mornin\'...

It\'s all clear of bad weather here, now, still dealing with some flooding on the Suwannee River and others, but things are getting back to normal. It is a gorgeous day.

Meises, still having snow now is incredible, I hope that is the last you see of it this year. It\'s nice, though, that you are going fishing on the weekend. Enjoy it.

That is true, Liz, about conserving water. Earthlings have been so wasteful about squandering our natural assets, and wasting water is about the worst of that, as there is only so much of it on the planet, and it is absolutly necessary for all living things.

Cont.

Nice sunrise pic on CAM 5, Steph. Amazing color. We have a sunrise every day, but there is something special about a Spring sunrise...humans have been affected and rejoiced in them since prehistoric times. Think of New Grange and Stonehenge. Maybe it\'s that the songbirds migrate back and begin to sing at dawn in the Spring, and there\'s something in the human soul that rejoices in that.

I\'m off to start my day, Everybody Take Care.

Mr. Mies, you are still having lots of snow?? My goodness you have had a very long winter. Hope your summer comes soon, and with it the nice warm days and nights.

Hi Annette, hard to imagine it is almost a year since you were here in Ireland... Have you holiday plans for this year?

Stephanie, I love your sunrise photo. Was that taken on Easter Sunday. As kids, we always got up at sunrise on Easter Sunday to see the sun \'Dancing\' in the sky as it rose. Well, first, it probabely \'Danced\' every morning, and second, I remember more cloudy mornings than fine ones.....

Patricia, glad your thunderstorms have passed. Hope the tornados stay away also.

Well everyone, the rain is back in Ireland, (so I expect the sun is back in Spain). The countryside has become green overnight, and summer is just around the bend!!!

Take care, catch you all later.

Mar, you sure packed a lot into a few days. I ran out of breath just reading your post. Got a fright when I read you got home in the back of a police car... my brain was racing ahead saying...\'What has Mar been up to?\'. But then I read that all was ok. Sorry to hear about the cold and rain, but here the weekend was warm and sunny, really lovely weather.

When we were young, and it rained we used to say \' The sun must be shining in Spain\'. Then when it was sunny here we used to say \'it must be raining in Spain\'. Well, it seems that saying had some foundation in truth.

Take car Mar, and get some more sleep.

Morning everyone,

Liz, so glad to hear that Reghan is out of hospital. It\'s very frightening for children in hospital, so now she will get better much quicker at home. I hate when children are sick, even only for a few days, it just seems unfair.

Hello to all been a strange day here today. I awoke to Mieses screams,\"What the H**L is this\" & looked out to 5\" of new snow. Oh well it\'s only been spring for 3 weeks & Steph did warn us a few days ago. But it\'s blue sky & almost 50F here now & mid 70F for this weekend, when I\'ll be gone fishing.

Liz-Give Reghan our best & we\'ll keep her in our prayers.

I agree with Annette just reading about Mar\'s adventures has tired me out. Oh to be young again

Phew, Mar, I\'m even tired when I only read what you did within a few days. It sounds as if you were there for three months. hehehehe But it\'s nice that you had a great time.

Liz, Reghan will be okay. You will see. Children are often much stronger than we think. Show her Webbie\'s cute cleek. That will cheer her up.

Hello, Michael Conlon, you will love Ireland. It\'s a beautiful country with absolutely nice people.

To all I missed...

And finally, AND MOST IMPORTANT:

LIZ, my dear friend, I\'ve read something about Reghan not feeling well in her kidney and/or being sick with it, I truly pray so that it\'s only a false alarm and it\'s nothing serious in the end. I wish you and your whole family the best state of health, specially for this lovely little blonde treasure you have there, give her a huge kiss from me, ok?

Well, off to prepare a light dinner now, I hope you all had a great Easter time and that you\'ll have a great week. Take care and have all the fun you can!

(and by the way, I hope I\'ll be answering your last mails soon, thank you all for them! )

And these are only part of the adventures I had in the last days, so you can imagine how tired (and voicelss too, after shouting in the pubs) I am (I worked again today). Needless to say, I ate all kind of delicious meals and Easter desserts, mmm...

Well, I can\'t keep telling you the details now, my neighbour will be watching a movie at my place in a while, but I just wanted to say a couple of things now: I saw some people telling Pat how to make her cat sleep out of Pat\'s big bed... Your intentions are good, but Pat, believe me, YOUR BATTLE IS LOST! Mrs.Cat will NEVER leave that bed, no matter how many cats\' beds you place all over, no matter how much water you pour on her, there\'s absolutely nothing you can do about it! (at least it was impossible for me and my parents...)

I revisited my old kindergarten and also my old college in the university, and saw they hadn\'t changed a dime in 32 and in 13 years...; I revisited my granny\'s old house where my cousins, sisters and me used to play when we were kids, and I had such nice memories of it; I managed to have lunch at my sister\'s house, to have coffee at my aunt\'s house and to go out partying with another sister and her crazy friends, evenmore, we came back home at 5 am in the backseat of a cop\'s car! (in fact he was my brother-in-law\'s colleague, and he saved us the taxi money, he, heee...).

My brother and I are visiting Ireland this summer for about ten days. Our family (Dad\'s parents were Conlon and Quilty and Mom\'s family name is Farrell) left Ireland sometime during the Famine. I would love to visit \"long lost\" cousins but have no idea where to find them....alas. We will still feel our roots in Ireland, even if we never get to actually meet them. While in Ireland we plan on visiting spots where your web cam is focused... to say \"Hi\" to our families here in Canada. Thank you for making it possible for us to do that!

We certainly appreciate the chance to wave to our family in Canada while in Ireland.

Mornin\'...

Liz, I hope things will soon be alright with Reghan. It is so hard when little ones are not feeling well. Tell her I sent her a big hug.

We had terrible thunderstorms here last evening, and a tornado watch. A waterspout was sighted in the Gulf down by Apalachicola, and they put all the nearby counties under a watch, but there weren\'t any tornados, and they lifted it about 11:30 in the evening. It did rain a lot, though.

It is still cloudy this morning and I wish the sun would come out and dry things up, I\'ve still got some raking to do in the yard and it\'s too wet.

Great steam locomotive picture on CAM 5, Kristin Kjaer. Someone has done a beautiful restoration job on that...it looks as slick and shiny as new.

I\'m off for another cup of coffee and to plan out my day. Y\'all Take Care.
