Spectacular pic on CAM 5, Kirsten Kjaer. Really great scene. I wonder if Steph has been there. I think she\'s in the middle of her testing at the moment. Hope she is doing well.

That\'s a very nice wildlife park, Webbie.

A bee in the lug? I don\'t know that saying, or just what a lug is, but I think it\'s an item to put on a bolt. I frequently get a bee in my bonnet, though. And it\'s wise to stay out of the way when that happens.

I just looked at some photos of Susan Boyle, she has appeared in quite a few musical productions over the years, often costumed pretty skimpily...so I think the judges and the audience were the ones who got fooled about her apparent lack of experience and sophistication before she performed, but I still haven\'t been able to figure out if it was carefully calculated or genuine. At any rate, she sings beautifully.

That\'s all the news that\'s fit to print. I\'m gone. Take Care.

You are very likely right, Mr. Mies. I looked at a better pic of the Hawaiian goose, and I do see the similarities now. Couldn\'t make out the webbed feet before, they don\'t show up well in Mark\'s pic. They are endangered, and it is banded, so there is probably a breeding initiative in Kerry for them.

Anyway, I\'d trust you way before I\'d trust that Webbie, he makes a career out of lying.

Sorry Pat-After Googling Hawaiian Goose, I must agree with Webbie, it sure fits the description of a Hawaiian Goose. I\'m not sure what he was doing in Kerry but it seems like a great place for a vacation. All I found out for sure is that it\'s not native to Ireland.

Pat-Not a Grouse, Quail, or Prairie Chicken it has webbed feet. Yes, I have seen all of those species. We have an on going project here to restore Sage Grouse to an area west of town. Last year a large wildfire destoyed much of the area, now coyotes have moved in & are threatening to wipe out what is left of them.

Wot??!!!

That\'s no more an Hawaiian goose than I am, Webbie.

Next you\'ll be telling me it\'s a flamingo.

The only bird you could identify correctly is a seagull.

Jeez.

Googling tells me that the bird on CAM 5 might be a kind of grouse, though grouse are upland birds, not waders.

The head and bill and heavy legs and big feet and barred feather pattern are very similar to the American Greater Prairie Chicken, which is a grouse, too. I\'ve never seen a prairie chicken, have you Mieses?

Nice POD photos the last few days. Mr. Mies, I don\'t know either what that bird on CAM 5 is. Looks like it\'s banded. Maybe somebody will tell us. Maybe it\'s an Irish quail, though quail aren\'t usually waders, particularly. I\'m stumped.

Have a good time with your old friends, Annette. It\'s lovely you continue to meet regularly. All friends are great, new friends are Silver, old friends are Gold.

Sad thing has happened here, 21 polo ponies have died in West Palm, probably from bad pharmaceuticals. Big investigation going on, right now it looks like an accident.

Treasa, I don\'t know anything about that couple wishing to trade their Florida house for one in Kerry. Florida is the place to retire TO here, but where do you retire to FROM Florida? Maybe they want to be near family? If you ever find out about that, tell me, please.

Off to wade into my Saturday chores...Y\'all have a good weekend.

Hello everyone, just want to wish you a nice weekend. The sun is shining here and it\'s going to be a beautiful weekend. I\'ll see my parents in an hour and after that visit friends this evening. It\'s time again for our little girls\' party that we have twice a year. I will meet three of my best friends of school time. And this autumn we will go for a holiday together as there will be a \'meeting-anniversary\' for us.

I enjoyed all the cleeks and photos of the last days. Thanks, Webbie.

Yo webbie

Thanks for the cleeks - especially the Barron Knights from 1970, blimey that brought back some memories.

Barron Anthony (Tony Osmond) lived near to me and was a regular in the local pub with his wife Val.

He used to get my dear old Gran smashed quite regularly.

She thought he was a lovely bloke.

Pat, read in our local paper yesterday where a couple from Punta Gorda, want to swap their waterfront home for a house in Ireland - Kerry to be exact.... why would they??

Amazing sunrise on Cam5 today, I hope it does not mean rain, (red in the morning is shepherds warning)

Jack, there is a beautiful Irish song, it\'s actually called \'A Song for Ireland\', and it contains the lines - Watched the Galway salmon run,

Like silver, dancing and darting in the sun -

I\'m sure Webbie has it in his box under the bed and if we are nice to him he will put it on the cleek for us......

Hello all! Getting ready for my trip tomorrow to take a test Saturday morning. I\'m excited and nervous. The only problem is I need to be able to get there in one piece. Yesterday I decided to walk at the local track because it is right by the school I work at. Well the track isn\'t in the best shape and my foot got caught and I went down. So my left arm and shoulder are hurting. No bruises except on my nose where my sunglasses hit the ground and my nose. Today bad milk, so Mike in CA send some Irish smiles my way. Actually where is this garbage can. Could it be at the end of the rainbow.

Mick great news on the camera. Hubby had his stolen once out of his car for work, so we are careful here.

I love all of the sunrises and sunsets! Amazing Earth colors. Annette I think the birds might enjoy those tadpoles here, maybe freeze them?

Love and Hugs,

Steph
