Hello everyone...

...got caught in Webbie\'s \'cleek-trap\' and got sidetracked by the other videos of Candy Dulfer and Michael Brecker... What great talents they are/were. I wish I could play an instrument so perfectly. *sigh*

So, down again to the mundane things that have to be done here around... Our tax declaration has to be ready until the end of the month and as always I\'m late with everything. I\'ll be off tomorrow and I\'m afraid I have to lock myself in the house to do the taxes. *sigh* again...

Great photo on Cam 5.

Hello blokes

Yep that Seamus he\'s a character alright.

Latest game is dropping his ball in the garden pond and pushing it across the other side, running round and pushing it back again.

Trouble is he sometimes gets too excited and falls in - smelly dog.

Patricia - Latest money saving idea with some bosses here is asking people to work extra hours without pay with the implied threat that to refuse means unemployment.

Lots of angry people in the UK at the moment and I forcast a long hot summer of discontent.

Mornin\'...

Pretty jazzy cleeks today. Thank you, Webbie. Talking saxes and a fella that can play the hell out of a guitar. Starts the day out right. Isn\'t that so, Liz?

Very interesting light in that shot on CAM 5, Mark. Takes patience to be able to catch something like that. Nice one. Thanks.

I\'m off to town today, to make an appearance at the office and do some shopping. Gotta keep the world turning, so I\'m gone.

Y\'all be good.

Hello Mr Mies, I remember you. There are some keywords that helped me get going... fishing, spare parts, shoveling snow in winter and ALWAYS working on Mies\' to-do-list... That\'s the man you are. hehehehe

Pat, YOU sent the picture of Webbie with his cart round. His cleaning job keeps him busy.

Mick, now you know Seamus is on the right way to strive for higher goals.

I can\'t see the leafed trees in front of \'Not to Worry\' or the baskets of O\'Shea\'s. It says \"...your browser may be having difficulty with server push...\" on Cam 3 and 4. My browser never had difficulties... never... My life is ruined.

Liz, we also had a long weekend but our holiday was last Friday and not this Monday as in some other countries. Franka was here and my parents, too and we had a nice time together. The weather was great but in fact it is too warm here for this time of the year. Yesterday the temperatures dropped a bit and we had a cold wind today but forecasters say it will be warmer again over the next weekend.

I see O\'Shea\'s has its hanging flower baskets up, and the trees in front of Not to Worry shop are leafed out.

Must be Spring in Dublin. Congratulations.

Micilin, we always knew Seamus was a dog of distinction. Noisiest Mutt Award? Hehehehehe.

Micilin, most everybody has too much to do these days, it can\'t all be done right. And I hate not doing a job right. I suppose we\'ll all muddle through, somehow.

That is a very fine bird picture on CAM 5, Dee Langevin. Great expression, looks quite fierce.

Nice to see that you are both home safe, Mr. Mies. You do keep busy in this season with your fish tournaments. Excellent activity, hurts nobody, not even the fish, and affords a lot of fun. Good for you.

Gotta go, I\'m taking a break from printing 200 envelopes for a mailing about habitats. Even on the days I don\'t go in to the office, I\'ve got work to do. Bummer.

Where are the cleeks, Webbie? I\'ll be really cranky by evening if I don\'t see some before then.

Hello chaps

Struggling a bit with the new double deadline but I\'ll do my best to have a gander at the GB at least once a day.

That bird on 5 looks suspiciously like an osprey to me.

I spent five days in the Lake District trying to take a similar shot and only managed an out of focus snap of a bird on the wing. Sick as a parrot.

Entered Seamus in the dog show at the May Fayre on Monday.

He came first in the noisiest mutt category.

Remember me, it was a long weekend & a very busy day today at work. We got home last night about 10PM & went right to sleep. The tournament went very well. The biggest fish was 11.18# & the average weight was about 1/2# more than last year. The weather was mostly good, except for a while Saturday. It started raining about 11AM & the temperature dropped so fast you could hear it hit the ground, it dropped 20 degrees in 15 minutes. Then right after weigh-in the sun came out & it was nice the rest of the weekend. We couldn\'t get internet service at the stage & when we were away from it we never had time to go online. Good to be home though the next one is 2 weeks away.

Hmmmm. I just got curious about the background of Mine That Bird, the horse who won the Derby, as he kind of came out of nowhere to do it. He\'s a gelding. There aren\'t many of those that run in the Derby. There go the stud fees. However, not to worry, the horse ran at 50-1 and won more than a million dollars. Not too bad.

Nice bulletin board on CAM 5, Webbie. I see people do the same thing there as we do here, leave a little fringe of strips with phone numbers on the bottom so people can tear them off. Some things are the same all over the world.

Is that Polish on that one note? Polish people have to communicate, too, but it looks strange for being in Ireland.

I hope Mar is having a good time in Holland. That girl gets around, which is great.

I\'m gone. Everybody have a good week, and enjoy your holiday if you have one.

Annette, the Kentucky Derby favorite was taken out of the race before it began because of something wrong with his front leg, and the horse that won it was not expected to do particularly well...so some people won a lot of money if they bet on him. A real surprise. Now the aim is for that winning horse to win two other particular races, the Preakness and the Belmont, and if he can do that his stable will make a fortune in stud fees. Winning all three is called the \"Triple Crown\" and will make a horse famous.

I don\'t bet on horse races, but I love to see them run.

Damn, I just had a second-long electrical outage, which blew my half finished post out into cyberspace. Now I forgot what I was saying.

Liz, it sounds like you had a nice day. Some of you have a holiday tomorrow. No such luck here.

I just spent a couple of hours going up and down a ladder cleaning leaves out of the rain gutters. I love my oak tree, but it sure does drop a lot of leaves, and you\'ve got to clean them out before you clean the deck, which is tomorrow\'s job, so I\'ve got a jump on that. I hope that electrical outage doesn\'t mean we\'ve got storms on the way. I need a clear day tomorrow.
