Pat-If you could get them to grow with basil, garlic, & olive oil that would be great. You could just slice them off the plant onto a plate for a ready made snack.

Pat-I was fishing in Potholes Res. several years ago & caught a carp about 25#, on an ultralight rod & 4# test line. It took me about 25 minutes to land it & Willis wanted me to hold it up for a picture. It didn\'t happen, Willis was the first person I knew that was able to post stuff on the newest thing, the internet. I didn\'t know what it was good for then, but I did know that a picture of me with a carp would be held against me.

Annette, I got some tomato plants today that I am going to put in a hanging container that grows them out of the bottom of the container instead of out the top. You don\'t have to stake them or cage them, you just let them dangle there and make $64 tomatoes right and left! You can plant some little herbs like basil and oregano on the sides of the container, too. I think that will be a hoot to grow them that way, I\'ve been wanting to try it for several years but never got around to it. I\'ll let you know if it works.

Hi, Liz. Do you have any program that will take accumulated junk off your computer? That will slow them down. I have several that I run every day to zap cookies and stuff left on there while you are on the internet. Actually, I think one of them was suggested by Jim. Free, just download them, they keep things clean and fast. Maybe Jim will e-mail you the address.

You\'ve mentioned before that your machine is running slow. Maybe that would help.

Mr. Mies, my son-in-law caught a 30 pound carp in the Sopchoppy River on the weekend. He said it looked like a whale. If there are any photos of it, I\'ll try to send one to you.

I went to a big plant nursery with my daughter today, brought home a Confederate Jasmine to try on a trellis near the deck. I have wanted a jasmine to grow up that trellis with a climbing pink Seven Sisters rose. I might be sorry, as the scent is a little heavy but not as heavy as Night Blooming Jasmine, you can smell that for blocks when the wind is right. Some people thing they are in heaven when they smell jasmine, but most of them are a little much for me.

Webbie, you have a dirty mind. That is a PAWN shop on the corner, not a porn shop. Jeez.

Micilin, I read the piece in your paper about the Bengal cat, and one about a farm there that races lambs with teddy bears as jockeys. Knowing that the English are quite kind to animals, I\'m sure it is a humane training program and operation. I think that would be fun to see. Lambs are very cute.

Note: I can run your paper\'s videos perfectly. I can\'t run big old powerful RTE\'s newspaper videos worth a damn. They keep breaking up and sputtering out...miserable. The LBO should teach RTE how to do it. Hehehehehe.

By the way, did you ever access the Geronimo PBS program by going in another way?

Mick-Sounds like politicians are the same world wide. Do you know the difference between a politician & a carp?

One\'s a bottom feeding scum sucker & the other is a fish.

Not much room in the camper, it\'s only a 9\' cab-over truck type. Plus they are calling for record low temperatures. the next few days.

Whatho old beans

Spiffing day here, if a bit blowy.

Mar - Looks like you had a nice time in Holland - naughty girl visiting the Red Light District.

Don\'t know how much UK news y\'all see, but top story this week seems to be politicians with their snouts in the expenses trough.

Haven\'t heard yet if any of our local MPs are involved, but I\'ve got my ear to the ground.

Yo Mr Mies got room for a little un in that camper van?

Morning all,

Just dropping in for a moment.

Had a busy weekend, (removing old tiles from main bathroom in preparation for new ones - almost as messy as removing old wallpaper Annette..)

Anyway, didn\'t get to read any postings, but will do so this evening. Until then, take care everyone, catch you all later.

Hey, Gary D, hope you are doing fine. You seem as busy as usual.

And you, Mar. You have lots to do, that sounds like a full schedule. Don\'t forget me when you send the pictures around. I just got some great pics from Annette today, I love everybody\'s travel pictures, it\'s like taking a mini trip myself when I look at them.

Mr. Mies, you did all the spring work in your yard in ONE day? You must be a perfect dynamo. I spend weeks doing that.

I had a lovely Mothers Day, and my daughter did treat me to an expensive lunch so I\'ve forgiven her for laughing at my poor fat lip.

I\'m off to read in the BFC for a while. Y\'all be good.

Ahem, ahem. Very nice picture on CAM 5, Webbie, but we already saw that lovely light fixture in Delaware by Dee Langevin on January 17th. You should either mark them \"Posted\" or put them in another file after we see them. Just a little filing advice from the person who can\'t ever find anything she\'s looking for, but can\'t resist telling everybody else how to do things. You\'re welcome. Hehehehehe.

Thank you for the Mothers Day greetings, from all the mothers in the whole country. They won\'t mind my speaking for them all.

(Treasa, now that I think about it, why did you ask about a \"Grandmother\'s Day\"? You\'re not a grandma yet, are you? )

Annette, I still couldn’t find the time to open and see your last mails, but I’ll do it one of these days, and then I’ll answer you, ok? Did your men finally cooked for you? What was it? I hope they didn’t cook ants and other insects, Webbie’s style, uuuggghhh? Did they prepare something delicious? And, did you have to clean the kitchen? He, heee…

Treasa, a couple od years ago they stablished here a “Grandparents Day”, I don’t remember the exact date, but I know they fixed it in Saint Ann’s and Saint Joaquim’s Day (Virgin Mary’s parents, Jesus’s grandparents), maybe you can join and use that date too I had no idea at all that you had been ill, I’m really sorry about it, and I truly hope that you’re better and feeling good now, let me know about it, please!

Gary, I also hope you had a great day today, I’m sure you rewarded your beloved wife with some delicious meal today, or was it her the one who rewarded you and your daughters? He, heee…

Mick, I didn’t know that doves always had the same couple for life, how nice! I also loved the movie “Dances with wolves”, one of mu favourites, even though I’m not too fond of Kevin Costner

Steph, my cat is also extremely needed of love and caresses these last days, he’s constantly sticked to me or miaowing me if I move from the bed or from the couch (and even more every morning before I leave the flat), and the reason is that he misses me too much when I stay out of the house travelling, so when I’m at home, he always wants to keep me controlled and near, poor pet

Mr.Mies, have a great BBQ at your daugter’s home, and enjoy also your camping trips, now that you have the camper ready How I’d love the “Celtic Woman” play here in Barcelona some day, according to you, it must be such a nice show! And your Irish dinner sounds great too!

By the way, I brought from Holland some tulip bulbs to plant them, but I’m too bad and ignorant about any kind of flowers and growing them, if you could please give me some advices about how to plant them in a pot at home, please tell me all your ideas, ok?

Pat, enjoy your Mother’s Day, will you have your beloved granddaughters there with you? I’m sure they’ll give you nice gifts, right? Glad to know you’re feeling good after the dentist session, and about your daughter, what you should do is to force her to pay for an expensive luxurious lunch for you on Mother’s Day, I hope you did it today

Webbie, I loved the POD\'s in cam-5 these last days, you have a perfect team of great photographers, congratulations to them. I hope I\'ll send you some niuce pictures of tulips soon, in case you like some for cam-5 too

And finally, I know I owe some of you many answers to your last mails, I couldn’t find the time to do it up to now, but I hope I’ll do it soon, ok? The problem is that next week is going to be awful, after working in the morning (until 3pm) I’ll have to go to attend different kinds of business (annual taxes report, gym, massage…) and after that I have to go the rehabilitation sessions for my knee (I start them tomorrow) from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, therefore, next week, from Monday to Friday I’ll leave my flat at about 7:15am and I’ll return after 9pm, I hope you’ll understand me if I’m a bit absent again… I feel tired just thinking about it!!!
