I just looked outside & it\'s raining here. It\'s supposed to pass tonight & be in the mid 70s this weekend. I hope.

We just heard on our local news about a 3 car collision on the freeway with a moose & now they are saying there was one fatality, a 19 year old girl. Dark animals on dark rainy nights, small cars & 70 mph are a deadly combination.

Annette-We are having a fish tomorrow too. Fresh walleye tacos, at the campground, before our next tournament. Robert would love it here right now, the pike in Coeur D\'Alene Lake are prowling the shallows. I just heard today of a 33# fish being caught last weekend. If I can get a picture of it I\'ll send it to him.

That picture on CAM5 looks familiar, I think I had a few of them in my yard last weekend.

Pat-Thick slices of beefsteak tomatoes covered with extra virgin olive oil & lots of crushed garlic was one of my Father & Grandfather\'s favorites & they both raised the best tomatoes.

Nice dandelion on CAM 5, Mr. Nickisch. I like dandelions, though it isn\'t some people\'s favorite flower, and they are always trying to uproot them out of their lawns. I say just leave them and enjoy the color. Thank you. Very cheerful, perfect for Springtime.

Yes, Webbie, I know that\'s a dandelion petunia, I was just trying to save myself some typing.

OK, now I\'ll be able to get to sleep tonight. I hate it when we don\'t have the POD picture on time.

Bye!

Pat, I hope you will like your Jasmine. They can be beautiful on the right place. And I hope you can send some photos of your tomatoes later this year. I saw in a garden magazine once that they grew tomatoes in bags of potting soil that were hanging on walls. And the tomato plants were hanging out of the bags. It looked funny but was a nice idea. It must be great in your hanging container... and with olive oil, vinegar and basil... Could you put a cow aside? For the mozzarella? hehehehe

No carp here but pike. Robert caught one last Sunday and the next one yesterday. About 6 # each of them. Guess what\'s on the menu next weekend... Your carp are huge, Mr Mies and Pat. That\'s the basis to open a restaurant. hehehehehe <()))<<

To all I missed...

Liiiiiizzzzz, you could open a kindergarten. Think, how much money you could earn. hehehehe

Mr Mies, do you really have so bad weather? No tomatoes this year? I will help you out...

Mick, I\'m sure I would like that garden. A garden-tour in England is on my \'to-visit-list\' but I just thought of the south coast. Probably, I will have to add some more gardens.

By the way, Treasa, when I sent the mails to all GBers round I got a message that yours couldn\'t be delivered. Now I\'m not sure if the message was just for one mail or for all.

Hello folks

Gloomy ol\' sort of day here, overcast and quite chilly.

Annette - Finally got round to looking at your pics. Gotta say you certainly like your plants and gardens. You\'d love Ascot House a mile or two from my office - stunning.

Just had a cream cake and pimms lunch for one of the girls who is moving to another office. I know it\'s naughty and I\'ve probably put on a couple of pounds, but HEY what the heck an old geezer\'s gotta have some pleasures.

Morning everyone,

Still nice here, but rain forecast for the afternoon. But, hey, it\'s Ireland, and we get rain, and I don\'t mind that because we have now had 6 glorious days of sunshine...

Patricia, I hope the predections are right.... The one thing I notice is that the Furze is absolutely beautiful at the moment... The countryside is a sea of full yellow blossoms. Now it is a long time since I\'ve seen it that full and yellow, I think not since childhood... well a long time anyway. So I\'m taking that as a good sign. Patricia, I\'m sure Webbie will find an appropriate video version of \'Age of Aquarius\' for us to enjoy. (no running around naked now please).

I\'m late again. Have my tiler here doing the bathroom, but I must go to work.

Mick, Val does the same thing, (well not at three in the morning), but he thinks I have nothing else to do all day but play ball.

I\'m gone... catch you all later.

Pat-I\'d send you our thunder showers, but when they move east tonight they are taking our heat along. They have issued frost warnings for latter tonight. LOws are forecast for the mid 20\'s & I don\'t think that would be good for your plants. If you have any tomatoes left over send them here, I don\'t think it will get warm enough for them to grow this year.

Lordy, I need rain here. I\'ve been watering my plants in pots for hours this afternoon. There are plenty of thunderstorms in the area, but they keep missing where I am and everything is drying up. Bummer.

Steph, I hope you\'re not studying too hard. Will you be finished with your courses soon? I am sure it is hard to work and keep house and go to school at the same time, I hope your hubby is good at helping out at home.

Talking about courses, my daughter and I are going to take some classes to learn how to make stained glass. I have a window that I want to make a stained glass panel for. I don\'t think it would be too hard to do. Tallahassee is great along those lines, you can find a class in just about anything you want to learn.

Gotta go. I have to address some envelopes to take with me to the office tomorrow.

Ya\'ll be good.

That\'s a beautiful place and a beautiful shot on CAM 5 today, Mark Westlake.

Webbie has probably thought that song was talking about a porn shop since he first heard it, which must have been 50 years ago. It\'s not easy to change your beliefs after you\'ve had them for that long. We have to make allowances for that.

Treasa, I read that Ireland is supposed to have a nice summer this year, according to some meteorological expert at one of your universities. Isn\'t that nice? \"When the moon is in the something something, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, It is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, the Age of Aquariuuuuuus...\". Sorry, I got carried away singing there, but he used something like that to figure it out, I think.

Hi ya all...

WOT! Porn shop! Hmmmmm, what version of the song is Webbie listening to????

Mick, IF you can cook and sleep on a 4 1/2 ft fold down bed AND most importantly, housebroken (camper in this case) then come on!!!

Hope all are doing well...Have a million things to pack today. We worked all evening on replacing the bed platform that water damaged last winter ...Gawd what a mess...

Have a good one

Wotcha mateys

Nice looking bird on 5 - nothing so colourful here in the UK.

Fear not, the racing sheep and other animals at Mead Open Farm are well cared for.

Still got lots of sunshine and very windy, but rain on the horizon.

We are slowly regaining control of the website so hopefully we will have some more interesting stories on there in the weeks to come.

Mr Mies - Tell her indoors I\'m far cuter than Seamus and I don\'t chase joggers or drive people round the twist waking them up at three in the morning wanting to play ball, or bringing a treat I buried in the garden three weeks ago.

Morning all,

beautiful morning here again. We are having some really nice weather at the moment... may not continue though!!!

I have a MILLION emails to read, and I hope to get around to them this evening.

I love getting mails, but I\'m afraid I am a bit useless at answering them... but I will get around to it, I promise.

I really wait until I have a lot of time to open mails from you guys, because there is so much to see and read in them. In the middle, I miss things like my emailed bills etc.....

So, Webbie, it is a PAWN shop!

Must admit that it sounded like \'PORN\' shop when Guy was singing it....

No Mar, I\'m not a grandmother yet...... I\'m ready to be one, but my sons aren\'t ready to be parents yet.... so they say anyway.

Well, got to go to work AGAIN.

Take care everyone, catch you all later.

Mick-Mies wants to know if the \"little un\" is Seamus, if so say good bye to him before you send him over, our daughter said yesterday she always wanted a Jack Russell. Her neighbor has 2 Jack Russell/Pug puppys & she\'s considering a dognapping. I guess they call them Jugs. She says they are so cute.

Hello all! I forgot to tell the Mothers on this GBer site that they are the best mothers in the world!!! So Happy Belated Mother\'s Day! By the way should be celebrated everyday, including Father\'s Day! Well summer is almost here, and soon I\'ll be working outside for the county spraying weeds!

Mr. Mies 25# carp, I would have loved to seen that. When I was a child I caught two of them, that it took my dad and my siblings to bring in. Needless to say we kept them. By the way Pat I\'ve been told if you clean the mud pocket out they are good eating. I don\'t think I will try them again though. Still studying too much! Need a vacation right now!!! =) Well off to study.

Love and Hugs,

steph

Mar, I think you cat thinks your his pet.

I\'m off to check out Mar\'s pictures of Holland, haven\'t had time to do that.

Y\'all be good.

Mr. Mies, a 25 pound carp must have been a fish to remember, too. I think it is likely they threw it back, I don\'t think they are good eating because they are bottom feeders and taste muddy, although I think there are some commercially raised ones that are said to be pretty good eating.

Good ideas about the tomatoes. I could hang a bottle of oil and one of vinegar nearby, and eat my salad outdoors. That would be the Ultimate Garden Salad.

Webbie, Darlin, I THINK a fandango is a Spanish or Mexican dance?

Really enjoyed the East Coast Swing cleek, that is almost exactly the style we had in the old days. Baltimore regional style just a little different, I could do it today if my bones could take it. I didn\'t know there were distinct East and West Coast styles, but I remember that boys visiting from Philadelphia danced a little differently than we did, it was a little hard to dance with them. But Baltimore girls catch on quickly.

Good cleeks today!

I\'m off to check out CAM 5. As much as I liked that Delaware light fixture, I hope we have something new.

Runnin\'...
