Mick-Mies wants to know if the \"little un\" is Seamus, if so say good bye to him before you send him over, our daughter said yesterday she always wanted a Jack Russell. Her neighbor has 2 Jack Russell/Pug puppys & she\'s considering a dognapping. I guess they call them Jugs. She says they are so cute.

Hello all! I forgot to tell the Mothers on this GBer site that they are the best mothers in the world!!! So Happy Belated Mother\'s Day! By the way should be celebrated everyday, including Father\'s Day! Well summer is almost here, and soon I\'ll be working outside for the county spraying weeds!

Mr. Mies 25# carp, I would have loved to seen that. When I was a child I caught two of them, that it took my dad and my siblings to bring in. Needless to say we kept them. By the way Pat I\'ve been told if you clean the mud pocket out they are good eating. I don\'t think I will try them again though. Still studying too much! Need a vacation right now!!! =) Well off to study.

Love and Hugs,

steph

Mar, I think you cat thinks your his pet.

Holy Mackerel, Kirsten Kjaer, what a gorgeous bird that is on CAM 5, I don\'t know what it is but it is knockout! Great shot, too, beautiful seashore. Thanks for that one, really great.

I\'m off to check out Mar\'s pictures of Holland, haven\'t had time to do that.

Y\'all be good.

Mr. Mies, a 25 pound carp must have been a fish to remember, too. I think it is likely they threw it back, I don\'t think they are good eating because they are bottom feeders and taste muddy, although I think there are some commercially raised ones that are said to be pretty good eating.

Good ideas about the tomatoes. I could hang a bottle of oil and one of vinegar nearby, and eat my salad outdoors. That would be the Ultimate Garden Salad.

Webbie, Darlin, I THINK a fandango is a Spanish or Mexican dance?

Really enjoyed the East Coast Swing cleek, that is almost exactly the style we had in the old days. Baltimore regional style just a little different, I could do it today if my bones could take it. I didn\'t know there were distinct East and West Coast styles, but I remember that boys visiting from Philadelphia danced a little differently than we did, it was a little hard to dance with them. But Baltimore girls catch on quickly.

Good cleeks today!

I\'m off to check out CAM 5. As much as I liked that Delaware light fixture, I hope we have something new.

Runnin\'...

Pat-If you could get them to grow with basil, garlic, & olive oil that would be great. You could just slice them off the plant onto a plate for a ready made snack.

Pat-I was fishing in Potholes Res. several years ago & caught a carp about 25#, on an ultralight rod & 4# test line. It took me about 25 minutes to land it & Willis wanted me to hold it up for a picture. It didn\'t happen, Willis was the first person I knew that was able to post stuff on the newest thing, the internet. I didn\'t know what it was good for then, but I did know that a picture of me with a carp would be held against me.

Annette, I got some tomato plants today that I am going to put in a hanging container that grows them out of the bottom of the container instead of out the top. You don\'t have to stake them or cage them, you just let them dangle there and make $64 tomatoes right and left! You can plant some little herbs like basil and oregano on the sides of the container, too. I think that will be a hoot to grow them that way, I\'ve been wanting to try it for several years but never got around to it. I\'ll let you know if it works.

Hi, Liz. Do you have any program that will take accumulated junk off your computer? That will slow them down. I have several that I run every day to zap cookies and stuff left on there while you are on the internet. Actually, I think one of them was suggested by Jim. Free, just download them, they keep things clean and fast. Maybe Jim will e-mail you the address.

You\'ve mentioned before that your machine is running slow. Maybe that would help.

Mr. Mies, my son-in-law caught a 30 pound carp in the Sopchoppy River on the weekend. He said it looked like a whale. If there are any photos of it, I\'ll try to send one to you.

I went to a big plant nursery with my daughter today, brought home a Confederate Jasmine to try on a trellis near the deck. I have wanted a jasmine to grow up that trellis with a climbing pink Seven Sisters rose. I might be sorry, as the scent is a little heavy but not as heavy as Night Blooming Jasmine, you can smell that for blocks when the wind is right. Some people thing they are in heaven when they smell jasmine, but most of them are a little much for me.

Webbie, you have a dirty mind. That is a PAWN shop on the corner, not a porn shop. Jeez.

Micilin, I read the piece in your paper about the Bengal cat, and one about a farm there that races lambs with teddy bears as jockeys. Knowing that the English are quite kind to animals, I\'m sure it is a humane training program and operation. I think that would be fun to see. Lambs are very cute.

Note: I can run your paper\'s videos perfectly. I can\'t run big old powerful RTE\'s newspaper videos worth a damn. They keep breaking up and sputtering out...miserable. The LBO should teach RTE how to do it. Hehehehehe.

By the way, did you ever access the Geronimo PBS program by going in another way?

Mick-Sounds like politicians are the same world wide. Do you know the difference between a politician & a carp?

One\'s a bottom feeding scum sucker & the other is a fish.

Not much room in the camper, it\'s only a 9\' cab-over truck type. Plus they are calling for record low temperatures. the next few days.

Whatho old beans

Spiffing day here, if a bit blowy.

Mar - Looks like you had a nice time in Holland - naughty girl visiting the Red Light District.

Don\'t know how much UK news y\'all see, but top story this week seems to be politicians with their snouts in the expenses trough.

Haven\'t heard yet if any of our local MPs are involved, but I\'ve got my ear to the ground.

Yo Mr Mies got room for a little un in that camper van?

Morning all,

Just dropping in for a moment.

Had a busy weekend, (removing old tiles from main bathroom in preparation for new ones - almost as messy as removing old wallpaper Annette..)

Anyway, didn\'t get to read any postings, but will do so this evening. Until then, take care everyone, catch you all later.

Hey, Gary D, hope you are doing fine. You seem as busy as usual.

And you, Mar. You have lots to do, that sounds like a full schedule. Don\'t forget me when you send the pictures around. I just got some great pics from Annette today, I love everybody\'s travel pictures, it\'s like taking a mini trip myself when I look at them.

Mr. Mies, you did all the spring work in your yard in ONE day? You must be a perfect dynamo. I spend weeks doing that.

I had a lovely Mothers Day, and my daughter did treat me to an expensive lunch so I\'ve forgiven her for laughing at my poor fat lip.

I\'m off to read in the BFC for a while. Y\'all be good.

Ahem, ahem. Very nice picture on CAM 5, Webbie, but we already saw that lovely light fixture in Delaware by Dee Langevin on January 17th. You should either mark them \"Posted\" or put them in another file after we see them. Just a little filing advice from the person who can\'t ever find anything she\'s looking for, but can\'t resist telling everybody else how to do things. You\'re welcome. Hehehehehe.

Thank you for the Mothers Day greetings, from all the mothers in the whole country. They won\'t mind my speaking for them all.

(Treasa, now that I think about it, why did you ask about a \"Grandmother\'s Day\"? You\'re not a grandma yet, are you? )

Annette, I still couldn’t find the time to open and see your last mails, but I’ll do it one of these days, and then I’ll answer you, ok? Did your men finally cooked for you? What was it? I hope they didn’t cook ants and other insects, Webbie’s style, uuuggghhh? Did they prepare something delicious? And, did you have to clean the kitchen? He, heee…
