Thinking of times I spent in Dublin town.

Day\'s have gone, but memories live on.

Thanks to the web and Dublin cam.

Oh my goodness! Too hot for me. Someone please shower me with raindrops. I just killed an ugly spider who thought it would take over my window. It was nasty. Anyways, Pat, the kids I work with will be done with school on May 28th. My term for the college doesn\'t end until July 31st. I just hope I can get things done, I hate working when it is nice and cooler outside. Well off to study and sweat.

Hello All: We got back last night from our 2nd tournament, about 10PM. So first let me say HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY Robert.

We had a great time, no phones, no internet & no newspapers (sorry Mick). Just good friends, good food & great weather. We visited Dry Falls again & also Summer Falls, we will send a few pictures.

I have an update on our nesting dove, she is a mother, her 2 chicks hatched over the weekend. Mother & chicks are doing well. She is so tame now Diana & I can pet her, she doesn\'t seem to like anyone else though.

At the campground, over the weekend our friends, Tom & Jacki, had a Kildeer nesting in the rocks under their picnic table. See got so used to Daisy, their dog, she would sit on the nest right next to her. Then she would go into her broken wing act if anyone walked past. They are such drama queens.

Here is a link about the Church's history or you can google more.

********** wikipedia. org/wiki/Dresden_Frauenkirche (take out spaces)

When you go down on that site nearly to the bottom you will find a link to 'Live Webcam showing the Frauenkirche'. And when you also go there you will find a link to two 'Live-Cams' (the last in the left column).

Did you already hear that your President Obama wants to visit Dresden in June? And our newspapers tell that he also wants to visit Weimar. That's a town about 15 miles away from us. Perhaps, I'll go there to see him.

Well, that was history day today. But it's too late for me. I can't write more now. See you all tomorrow.

Pat, read the article about the \'Trabant\' (Webbie\'s cleeks) and you will know all about the vehicle. The vehicle on Norbert Nickisch\'s photo is made originally of TWO cars to create a strech limousine. The photo was made in Dresden. That\'s the town where Franka lives now and goes to university. The word on the side of the car means about \'round trip\'. You can take a tour round the town to some sights with that car. The building in the background is the \'Frauenkirche\' (Church of Our Lady) that was and is a symbol against the atrocities of war. The blackened stones among the new facade are original stones from the old church that was destroyed. They had lain for more than half a century where the church had collapsed before restorers used them for the new facade.

Mornin\'...

Very nice picture on CAM 5, Nickisch Norbert. I wonder what that vehicle is, looks like it might be a mini tour bus? Just a quess, maybe Annette or Sean Fada will translate the word on the side of it. Looks like an historic area it is sitting in, interesting buildings.

It\'s a cool day here, not typical at all for Florida at this time of year, only 72F high and in the low 50s tonight. There is a lot of peculiar weather everywhere this Spring.

Nice to hear what you are doing, Mar. Another trip to NYC? You are one traveling girl. Good for you. Do it while you can, because you never know what responsibilities or circumstances may keep you from it later.

Hang in there, Steph. Two more weeks isn\'t a long time. We are all proud of you for finishing, although I am not quite sure what you have been studying.

Busy day today for me, and out to a reception this evening, just a little ceremony and gathering for the Eagle Scout who made our new community bulletin boards as part of his service to attain his rank. Good kid, deserves to be honored. We need more of that kind.

Everybody Take Care.

Well I just got done reading to my last post. Pat, Did you start the stain glass class yet? Please take a photo and send it to Webbie for POD. Treasa that is so neat about your neice being nine and her beginning of life. She is so lucky, what an angel. Annette, tell Robert Happy Belated Birthday from me. I\'m always late. Miese, send some rain please. Did I mention 92 on Tuesday. I don\'t want the heat yet. Also yesterday, I planted 3 little aspen trees. I love aspen trees, and I believe they are a native tree around here, they like to have buddies. Well off to cook steaks, and move the water. Also I planted a apple tree today, so my other apple tree can have a flowering buddy.

Liz, we were waiting for you. We had a lot of food here around and were waiting for someone who could help to eat. Cake is still a bit left and there are also some leftovers of the BBQ. When you hurry you will have a chance...

Pat, I\'m afraid I can\'t compete in the tomato race. My plants are out and some of them are already having some blossoms but from the blossom to the red tomato will always pass a lot of time here. But I also have two plants that will have yellow tomatoes. That\'s my contribution to the competition. I googled \'Pimlico Race Course\' and \'Rachel Alexandra\'. There are many pictures of that beautiful horse in the net. And there\'s a list with all winners of the race where the yesterday\'s race is already listed. It must be great to be there. I would like it, I\'m sure.

Have a nice start into the new week all.

Hello everyone, thanks a lot for all your birthday greetings to Robert. He had a look at them and also watched Webbie\'s cleek for him. He thanks all of you very much.

We had coffee together with family on his birthday and a BBQ yesterday evening. He will have a little party with his friends in a week or two, too. They want to go camping over the weekend when it will be a bit warmer during the nights. The days are sunny and warm but the nights are still a bit cold.

Webbie, that little clarinet player was amazing. With how much virtousity he played. You wonder how long he has to practise. The Reels were great, too. I could hear them all day long.

Mar, thanks for all your mails and messages. I owe you an answer and will try to get it ready during the week. Don\'t overwork and show Pepe his limits.

Treasa, I hope you had a nice day with your niece. That\'s really special to have two events on the same day. Congratulations to her.

Sue, Seán, Dermot, Jim, Marie, Eamon, and everyone else, I hope you\'re all ok too

Off to have a light dinner, I hope you all will have a great week, better than mine, anyway! Take care and have all the fun you can!

Treasa, your case is exactly the same than my mother’s, she’s also ready (and willing) to be a grandmother, but none of her four daughters are ready to be mothers yet… (I know, too weird…) My cat also wakes me up too early in the weekends, and he doesn’t stop until I stand up and give him some food… same torture, different reason Good luck with the works in your bathroom, these things are always too nasty Happy birthday and happy Holy Communion to Maureen!

Mike Ca, if you come close to here, maybe you could take a walk in the Mediterranean Sea and in Barcelona

Steph, you’re right, my cat takes for granted that I am his little pet he has to take care of, he doesn’t let me sleep siesta in the sofa (he doesn’t consider it polite) and he tells me constantly not to leave the house and if I finally do it, to come back soon and not to go with bad companies… He’s worst than my father! Don’t overwork yourself, I hope you’ll have your deserved and needed holidays soon

Gary, I’m sure you wife was glad to celebrate her day at an Italian restaurant, mmm, my favourite!

Amie, welcome here, come and tell us how Liz gives you a hard time every time she does it, ha, haaa…

Mies, where are you, friend?

Mr.Mies, you’re right, Pat could be the first person to grow a “green salad” plant, he, heee… Please, send the pictures of huge fishes to everyone, not only to Robert, pleeeaasssee!!! Too sad about that 19 years old girl killed in the road, too sad

Mick, don’t get me wrong, I just visited the Red Light District… for the second time… because my friend wanted to see it at least once, but again I found it as nasty and ugly as I did the first time, the girls behind the glasses is something I can’t accept, they’re treated as if they were objects, too sad And I also hated the smelt of joint in some corners, too bad, how good I only spent some minutes there Apart from this, the trip to Holland was perfect, and the Dutch people were great! Seamus is not only cute, he’s also soooo funny!

Pat, how’s your poor fat lip now? I hope it’s not fat anymore I hope that Jasmine plant grows in your garden and smell a lot, they smell soooo good And I hope you’ll get lots of tomatoes too and good luck with your classes of stained glass, you busy girl!

Hi everyone, I\'m back after an exahusting week, and I have another one ahead, too bad. Today was the only day I\'ve had some time to answer mails and post here in the GB, too bad. At least, I\'ve been able to read all the posts from these last days, and of course I have things to tell you, so there I go!

About the last pictures in the POD, I loved them all again. About the picture of the chocolate sculpture, you can imagine what a delicious and glorious smelth there was in there, perfect, I actually became maniac for a chocolate bar!
