Thanks for the cleek Webbie, Mies & I watched it together. It\'s very good, I still have a customer or 2 that still have those old D8\'s. Amazingly we can still get a lot of parts for them. I can cure that carburetor flooding with a new float, needle & seat & 5 gaskets, all in stock still. We even have a scale model that I got several years ago, I think it is a 1 of 750 limited edition. There is another YouTube video of the \"Great Tractor Race\" that is very funny. Although sad because 1 of the operators was killed filming it. I have a VHS tape of it that CAT sent me 20 years ago. THANK AGAIN.

Hello chaps

Another bright sunny day here.

Had a busy Bank Holiday weekend working in the garden and visiting the Herts County Show - quite expensive but lots to see.

Also visited my neighbour in hospital - looks a poor old tool, but hopefully he\'ll rally round.

Mr Mies - Watched that movie about the old feller who rode his mower across America to visit his brother - can\'t think what it was called now - but you writing about your mower reminded me.

Sounds like that pup\'s a bit of a handful.

I\'m surprised that Pat isn\'t shouting for cleeks, but I am, \'cause I haven\'t see any for ages....

All work is complete so now I have time for relaxing again

But for now have to go to work, so take care everyone, catch you all later.

Hi Liz, heard you have loads of rain in Brisbane, and lots of flood damage!!! Hope you are ok and no damage done where you are.

Mr. Mies, you have been busy, with welding, painting and Dash walking, you and \'The Boss\' would have a lot in common.. Have you got photos of Little Dash, love to see them.

To Patricia, Mies, Stephanie,

and all the rest of our Stateside friends I wish a happy Memorial Day. (I think I\'m late again with the good wishes).. It is nice to remember our young men who went to war and never came back, but sad that we send them to war in the first place.... Why can\'t we all live in PEACE?????

Nice bright morning, a little wet underfoot from overnight rain, but at least the sun is shining now. Once again thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes.

Hi Eamon, nice to see you here again, is land very wet in the west??

Cattle are still in sheds here, and very little feeding for them......

Mike, I missed the plane......

It left too early.... Did I read some time ago that you are coming to Ireland for holidays???

Mike-My son got the d4eal on the riding mower, I got a good deal on a bike carrier. I got everything welded, cleaned up & repainted. Then decided a little garage clean-up was in order. A full pickup load to the dump later & I have some room to park our bikes in the garage.

Hello everyone, I wish all our USA GBers \"Happy Memorial Day\".

Mike, you will win the tomato race. My tomatoes can\'t compete and Pat has to grow basil, too and has to put oil and vinegar on the side. That\'s a difficult work and takes its time.

I will start to a place where I have to work for two days very early tomorrow morning and will stay there overnight as it is too far away to go the way two times a day. So, I will be back here on Thursday. Behave all.

To all in the USA Happy Memorial Day To all veterns everywhere THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Shawn bought a used John Deere riding mower & the mower deck has a few cracks that need to be welded. We bought, at a thrift store for $1.00, a carrier for our bicycles that needs some tightening up. So I\'ll be playing with the welder all morning.

Little Dash took me for a couple mile walk yesterday, now I remember why I don\'t have a puppy, they have way more energy than me. He has 2 speeds, asleep & full throttle, but what a cutie. We were crossing a busy street & he got his legs tangled in his leash. He picked it up in his mouth & was running sideways. I looked at the car that stopped to let us cross & the driver was laughing so hard she couldn\'t drive. It would be fun to see him & Seamus together, or maybe just tiring.

This is the American Memorial Day, a day to remember our war dead in particular, and others who have passed on. There are always parades and ceremonies by war veteran organizations, and many people go to cemeteries to put flowers on graves.

Then there are usually the first family picnics and cook-outs of the year, big ones that try to get all family members to be there, people often travel many miles to do so. It\'s kind of a nice day and really marks the beginning of Summer every year.

So,

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

to all Americans. And Everybody, have a nice day.

Hey, Mar. Busy, busy, busy, I see. That\'s tiring, but better than being bored, bored, bored. If your tulips bloom this year, the leaves will wither away and die. Then you may have to dig them up in September or October, and put them in the refrigerator for a few weeks during the winter and re-plant them in the early Spring. That\'s what we have to do here, tulips need a prolonged period of cold to bloom again.

Yes, I remember Amanda. I hope she\'s doing OK.

Mornin\'...

Nice clouds on CAM 5 today, Eamon. I still can tell when it\'s your picture as soon as I open it up, even before I roll down to where I can see the credits. Photography isn\'t an easy medium to use to put an individual signature on a work, a photo is a photo is a photo, as a rule. But yours always have that golden light of Mayo, that\'s probably the clue that tells...I\'m not sure. Thanks, that one is quite nice.

How\'s the patio garden doing?
