Yeah Pat, I\'ll be careful, very careful. I\'m not a snake person & got to be less of a snake person when we moved to rattlesnake country. Your shrimp boil sounds like one we do at our August Walleye Club meeting. Lewiston is a 2 hour drive each way so so much for our no overtime policy. The river is running a close to flood stage, so it\'s not quite as pretty as in September when we follow it to Montana. But with all the fields & grass still green it\'s still a very scenic drive. Well I\'ve got to go I\'ve got ribs & beef in the smoker.

Have a great day everyone.

Now that I think about it, that solar tower that I like so much isn\'t in Germany, it\'s in Spain, near Madrid, and I\'ll bet Maria Asuncion knows about it.

Well, Micilin is probably on the beach with his dogs, Annette and I are watching for the flower boxes at O\'Sheas to bloom, Mike CA is about to decend on Ireland this summer, Liz, how are the little ones doing? Getting over the flu, I hope.

We have just had our first case of Mexican Swine flu confirmed in this area. Reminds people to be extra careful about washing your hands often.

Slept late this morning after being out in the fresh air all yesterday, didn\'t get home till way after dark. Now I am running late and must make a serious start on the day.

Y\'all have a good day, and Take Care. Watch those rattlers tomorrow, Mr. Mies!

I had a very nice day yesterday down on the Sopchoppy River for my son-in-laws birthday party, everybody fished, but there were no fish in the river at all...nobody caught anything. Erin made a lovely cast about 70 feet right across the river and got her hook caught in the trees on the other side. We had to cut the line. She had to take a lot of teasing about how hard those trees are to reel in.

So, we had no fish to fry for supper, but we had a big pot of low country boil with shrimp and sausages and potatoes and corn on the cob and a bix Mexican flavored casserole and salads and all the other things people bring to gatherings, as well as brownies and a big red velvet birthday cake with fluffy white frosting. Yum.

Mornin\'...

Looks like a lovely day in Dublin, the sun is shining brightly. I hope it\'s shining in Kerry for Treasa, too, this weekend.

Hey, Steph. I hope you have a good start for your summer job. So you will be generating some power with wind turbines in your area? I don\'t mind the looks of them, expecially if they are replacing coal-fired power plants which spew mercury into the air, which poisons fish and critters, and eventually gets into people.

Cont.

I like solar best, myself, where it is feasible, I have seen a picture of a solar tower in Germany, I think, that has thousands of huge mirrors that reflect big rays of sunlight that are hitting the ground back up to the tower, it is a mix of sculpture and light show, and knockout beautiful to me. It is said to be collecting even more solar energy than expected. I\'d love to have one of those here. The mercury levels of all waterways in Florida are very high, pregnant women and children are advised not to eat fish caught in them more often than once a week. It\'s criminal to destroy children\'s brains with mercury poisoning.

Good morning all! Nice sunny day here. Been warm the last two days. About two months ago I went looking at window for the front and a new front door. They were put in on Friday. My dad came up on Thursday and stayed the night, my mom couldn\'t make it up. But they worked all day on Friday, and will back on Monday to finish the job. The house looks great! Now my neighbors behind my have their house for sale. I am really bummed, because some dorks will probably move in there and destroy it. The neighbors beside him sold their house and the new people are just loud. What happened to respect and quietness? Well I better go get ready for church.

Love and Hugs,

Steph

Start shooting weeds tomorrow for the county!!! Can\'t wait!!! Nothing like the open road, before the wind mills destroy the scenery.

Sunshine in Dublin, people are wearing shorts and short dresses and it seems there are a lot of tourists around O\'Shea\'s corner. The sun will bring the flowers in the baskets and planter boxes out and it will be beautiful. I liked the sight when I was there last year. As many things it looked even much nicer in reality than on the Cams. I wish I could be there right now... *sigh*

Mick, when will your holidays start? You are probably too early as Fish Festival and Flower Show will only be in August. But your cottage looks great and there\'s a Whisky Trail...

Mike, that\'s a fair trade, coffee and cake for Tacos and beer. I\'ll take you at your word.

Liz, I can hear you very well. I can understand all what you wrote on the GB.

Good Morning (at least it is here)I have to go back to Lewiston again Monday, but only for the day. We are having a problem with the floor drain in the shop there. The rattlesnakes have found a way in & every couple of days one will be found on the shop floor. Yesterdays was only about 2\' long. If I find 1 at the parts counter I\'ll be gone!!!!!

Morning All, 95F here yesterday, this morning we had high clouds & now a light rain. I had breakfast on the patio over looking the valley & the confluence of the Clearwater & Snake Rivers. There were Quail calling, Marmots whistling, & a very brave panhandling sparrow. He would come right on the table & do a little feed me dance for his breakfast. It was a very peacefull night, except for someone trying to steal a new Corvette from the parking lot about 12:30. Then it was all car alarms & flashing lights. They took 2 people away in handcuffs, I guess crime still doesn\'t pay.

Ayup me ol\' beauties.

Treasa - Looks like we\'re sharing the same weather, lots of blue and white fluffy bits.

Gotta admit Dash is a pretty cute pup, pity they have to grow up.

Mar - Sorry, but that is one creepy building.

Not much excitement in the newsroom this week, local elections coming up so lots of jaw, jaw, bore, bore, from the candidates.

Not much happening over the weekend either, gotta clean my car and chuck out the junk from the boot (trunk) to make way for Seamus and Holly\'s holiday beds, beach tent, balls, frisbee, treats, favourite toys and two weeks supply of dog food.

I\'ll probably have to wear the same clothes for a fortnight.

Take care y\'all and have a great weekend.

Hello everybody, I\'m back from my working-place out of Erfurt. I had some very exhausting but interesting days. Much work but it was so good that I didn\'t feel the strain. It\'s good to have such nice tasks, sometimes. But I\'m afraid, Mr Mies, my view from the windows wasn\'t as good as yours. Just a little pond in front of the pension\'s windows. I would really like to change it for the Clearwater River... eehhhemm... and could you also bring this puppy to me?

Had to have a coffee first and relax a bit after I came back this early afternoon. And so I enjoyed all your cleeks, Webbie. It\'s a nice welcome home.

But now I have to look around here and get some things in order. Two men all alone at home for some days... I wonder where I\'ll find the mouldy scraps and the stinky socks this time. hehehe

Mornin\'...

OK, PODmaster, just as long as can see my pictures, I\'m OK. Mar, that looks like a Gaudi structure in your photo. Such an individualistic architectural style, I don\'t think anybody else could copy it.

We have a cloudy morning here, but it should clear up by noon, and we have a nice weekend coming up.

Good cleeks, Webbie. Cutest little girl, Connie Talbot, it\'s adorable when that little squeeky voice breaks a little on the high notes. You want to steal her away and put her on your bookshelf so you can see her all the time.

I hope Everybody has a nice, sunny weekend. I\'ve got a lot to do today, so I\'m off to do it. Take Care.

Patricia, Mr. Mies, I had the same problem with the cams yesterday... amazing how we assume that it\'s our computers that are wrong. Anyway I\'m sure Webbie is hard at work to rectify the problem, and I see he has already made provisions so we can see Pod... thanks Webbie. I love the stone balcony on todays Pod... thanks Mar.

Mike you are welcome here anytime. We have cousins from Tampa, Florida visiting at the moment. They are not staying with us, but are staying with \'The Boss\'s\' brother next door. They visit every 3 or 4 years.

Anyway, off to work for me.

Stay safe everyone, catch you all later.

Morning all,

Lovely bright morning here. Weather looks promising for the weekend. Our June bank holiday weekend - officially the start of summer here. Our seaside village is getting all ready for the long summer months, I hope they have a good season. It was 11.30pm last night when I was going to bed, and it was still bright as noon. It was wonderful. This morning it was bright at 3.30am. I LOVE the summer months. I hate having to go to sleep and miss all that daylight...
