Eamon, lovely photo on cam 5. Since Pat\'s not here to give it her special critique, I will give it a shot in her place..

I love how you have captured the light through the trees, casting long shadows of what appears to be straight rows, but of course it\'s only a illusion as nature never plants anything that perfectly. What is that image in the upper right corner? A fountain perhaps? I see what appears to be a road or path in the back ground. Very peaceful feeling and I wish I were walking through there now...

hehehehe...running....

Thanks Webbie I have been singing Leaving on a Jet Plane all day long..It\'s driving me nuts

Liz, two teenage boys to feed and clean up after? Are you sure you\'re ready for this? Caleb also likes stuffing things under beds and in closets, especially dirty clothes...

Annette, it\'s funny what a kid will consider \"unkind\"..It could be making them get up before noon...

Stormy day here today. Mr. M has a Walleye Club meeting so I am on my own tonight...WHOOPEE!!!

I didn\'t look TOO happy there, did I????

Later ya all....

Ohhhhh, Liz, what a great idea. Next time I\'ll send Robert to you. It sounds good what you offer him. Stew... And he could make himself useful as for instance mowing the lawn. And hunt... some fish perhaps... I guess he would also get on well with Caleb. How long can he stay there? hehehehe

Mies, I don\'t know the details about the host family. I\'ll let you know when I know more. Do the dishes, tidy up, hang out a load of laundry... \'favourite\' works of him. Don\'t know what spoiled his day.

To all GBers

Liz, his bags are packed...Well, unless the Air Force nabs him first..I think Robert missed Annette\'s cooking more than his host family were \"unkind\" to him. I\'m sure he would love yours too. I was kidding about Mr. Mies and our first date but I just asked him if he remembers our first date? Guess what???? YUP, he DOESN\'T...Figures...He can remember his first fishing trip but not our first date...humph!

Neat old sign on cam 5.

Night Steph & Liz...And all of you sneaking a peak at the GB tonight

Hey Liz, forget about Robert, Caleb needs a good home. You might have to arm wrestle him for the computer but he does love tea...

Geez Annette, it must be like a honeymoon at your house..no kids...How mean can Robert\'s hosts be? Did they make him do dishes or something?

Pat, what do you mean? Mr. Mies\'s brain isn\'t already warped?

Pha, of course, Pat, we are just ignoring Webbie\'s remark about the petunia seeds. And that ugly whatzit can remain what it is. I couldn\'t care less about it. Good luck with another refusal of the casino.

hehehehe, Mies, energy saving and practical... Hello back. I hope you are well again.

I got a mobile message from Robert. He wrote, London is great, host family is unkind and food is not very good. Hmmmmmm, perhaps next time I\'ll send him to Mick.

Mornin\'...

Hey, Mies. Genius idea about the Whatsit. Truly energy efficient. The smell of burning feathers during the processing is a slight drawback, though. Gaaaaaaack!

You\'d better put some more items on Mr. Mies \"to do\" list. He seems to have time to develop some theories that are likely to warp his brain. Reading about that one warped mine.

Do y\'all remember the casino issue we had here last year? Well, it is back. Land owner is suing the county for loss in the value of his land, county is caving and might allow the development, everybody is super-obsessed and furious, phones are ringing non-stop, e-mails are flying, lawyers are being hired...it\'s a mess.

Gotta go, lots of work to do today. Y\'all Take Care.

The only thing I know for sure about owls is \"They don\'t taste like chicken\" & that\'s a fact. Oh & Spotted Owls will breed in sage brush if that\'s all they have. My theory,(& only mine by the way) \"If humans will spawn in the backseat of a VW, walleye will spawn in Liberty Lake & Spotted Owls will spawn in sage brush.\"

Mr. Mies, I think Webbie is lying about that thing being an incubator. I think Liz is right about it being some kind of a stove. Why should an incubator need to be made of metal with a big old piano hinge and four door catches? Those baby chicks aren\'t too powerful. That damned thing would hold wildcats.

Not to mention that awful joke about (germin)ating his petunia seeds. Annette and I are just ignoring that. He\'s hopeless.

Get Mies on here. We need her to stir up some trouble, it\'s too peaceful. Tell her she can even insult Engelbert Humperdinck, I can\'t stand all this niceness.

Bye!

Liz, Madam Woo says that nobody has presented her with any problems to solve, and that is why she hasn\'t been on. She just goes around solving problems all the time, she hasn\'t any time to be lollygagging around being sociable.

Whew, that is some picture on CAM 5, Mark Westlake. First reaction is to feel sorry for the poor little chicken, it\'s little legs are hanging down so pitiably. Second reaction is \"Get real, lady, that\'s the way of the world, and you have less excuse for those steaks and chops and the Southern Fried Chicken on your table than that owl has for that chick\". We are just so removed from the reality of how we get our food that we are able just not to think about it. That is a magnificent owl, though, and a powerful picture, though it\'s hard to look at. Such defiance in that owl\'s eyes.

Nice picture on CAM5 today Mark Westlake. Did that meal come from Webbies incubator? Which would have been my 3rd guess. (if I\'d have thought of it) All our incubators were made from cardboard boxes & a 25 watt light bulb.
