OK, this is the second time I\'ve tried to post on here today. The first one has gone out into cyberspace, to be read by aliens who are trying to figure out what the hell I said.

Liz, the rest of us are trying to keep cool while you are trying to keep warm.

Mieses, I hope that storm wasn\'t too bad. Did Mies get under the bed again?

Whatsit? on CAM 5. Ugly thing, isn\'t it? Manufactured item, not a home-built job, it has a label. That door with the long hinge on the bottom is meant to stay securely closed during operation, look at the 4 catches, they have to be tightened with a screw driver. Maybe there\'s high heat involved, the placement of the catches could inhibit warping of the door.

And, after all that scientific analysis, I haven\'t the foggiest idea what it might be.

Whaaaaaaaaat IS it?

Hope you are all having a nice weekend.

Pat

Webmaster-Comment: ....hmmm....the 4 catches do not have to be tightened with a screw-driver - thumb and finger does it nicely.
Its an Incubator.

Just got an alert on the Emergency Warning System of a severe thunderstorm heading our way. Quarter sized hail, high winds & lots of cloud to ground lightening with it. The storm warnings are in effect until 10:30 tonight. When I left work today it was 93F, 2 miles later it was raining & 74F. Another mile & blue sky\'s & 87F, then up on the hill where we live & 77F & more rain. I\'m surprised it didn\'t snow, it did everything else.

The WHATZIT on CAM5 looks like our old sandblasting cabinet from the Colfax store. (or a pizza oven) I hope not with all the newspapers under it, it could be a fire hazard. THANKS Webbie

Pat-Several years ago we were visiting Vancouver B.C. Canada, during a garbage workers strike. All the dumpsters were overflowing & occasionally the methane gases would ignite & the result was burning garbage flying everywhere. Lots of fun to see late at night.

Done with the paper, and it turned out to be 13 pages long. Hopefully it will pass. Going out to dinner tonight and a movie, \"Imagine That.\" Need to let the brain rest so tomorrow can start the next assesment, and maybe mow the lawn.

Good day everyone. It\'s 11:15 AM here, and I am now just eating breakfast or brunch. Should I make you all hungry? Hmmm. Okay, I have heated up some frozen french toast, added cream cheese the middle and toasted them. Added raspberry jam, and whip cream, then fried to eggs. Anyone hungry? I think I\'m full now.

So whats up with all that jibber there from Alaska. Is that SPAM trying to come through?

Well off to finish the paper. Yesterday we were rained out, so I sat and read and wrote the paper, need to finish it today.

Love and Hugs,

Hello chaps.

Nice pic on 5.

Treasa - Thanks for your kind thought, but I still have another week at the cutting edge of local journalism before my hols and it looks like the weather is taking a turn for the better.

If a certain little doggie doesn\'t stop bringing me presents in the middle of the night, he\'s gonna be left behind at the village kennels.

Patricia - Wot\'s this, giving up reading the LBO - humph.

Saw a cuckoo this morning, first one this year and I\'m taking it as a good omen.

Have a good weekend ya\'ll and stay safe.

Liz - no talking to strange men

Mornin\'...

Sorry it\'s chilly there, Liz. Take heart, seems to me that your climate is very much like mine, it won\'t be too bad and won\'t last too long. It\'s hot here, supposed to be only partly cloudy, but I haven\'t seen the sun yet this morning.

My morning routine includes having a second cup of coffee and checking out my home and my office e-mail, and checking headlines and reading the occasional article in my online local paper and the online RTE News, and on Friday reading Micilin\'s newspaper, but I may discontinue that routine as I\'m reading more and more news that I really don\'t want to know about.

Really, Ireland, I\'m shocked that you would go and illegally dump millions of tons of trash in 20 +/- sites over the border in Northern Ireland. Now it\'s going to cost you a pretty penny to clean that up. TSK. tsk. You should be ashamed. Do more recycling.

I see that the load inside a refuse truck in Micilin\'s area caught fire, and they had to cut through the metal to dump all the trash out on a parking lot to put the fire out. Webbie, please watch out for fires in your auld cart. Seems trash is dangerous, although I don\'t know if chewing gum wads are particularly flammable.

But here\'s the kicker in the \"news you would rather not know\" category. Sonny and Cher\'s daughter, Chastity, will now be called \"Chaz\". Seems she has been openly gay for a long while, which I was not aware of, but wouldn\'t have been of interest to me anyway. However, she will now have what was called a \"gender redirection\" operation, and wants strict privacy. Holy Mackerel, I should think so!

Yes, Chaz, all that is just about at the top of my \"I don\'t want to know about\" list today, so you don\'t need to fear my prying, at least. I couldn\'t help but think a little bit about the logistics of all that, and I have to confess that my mind became boggled immediately right to Headache Stage, so not to worry. I\'m not even thinking about it any more.

Gotta go, Little Chickens, I have a busy day. Y\'all have a good weekend!

Morning everyone,

I think you must all be on holidays, except for Annette and Liz..

Very quiet here, must be summer. Another lovely bright sunny morning here, and I\'m off to Cork for the day.

Micilin, have a great holiday and I hope the sun shines for you.

Everyone else, have a great weekend, stay safe, and catch you all later.

I enjoyed Webbie\'s cleeks after a long working day. I had a coffee and some biscuits and the music. Very relaxing... And I got sidetracked by the other offers of the singers/groups on the right. Thanks, Webbie. I\'m always curious about your cleeks and there are sometimes real treasures among them.

Morning everyone,

I was going to write a long piece, but I had to peek at \'na cliceanna\', and now I\'m out of time, and with emotions and memories of youth. I want to be back there listening to the wonderful Seekers, dreaming about \'sealed with a kiss\', and just being young......

Thanks Webbie, wonderful memories are evoked....

So now, take care everyone, have a great day, and catch you all later.

Hello All! Happy Birthday to Maria A! Hope you had a great day!

Annette, photos will be soon. Have a couple of shots left on this roll, so should see them soon. I use a 35mm to shoot, I think the pictures are clearer.

Saw a bambi today, baby deer, and took its photo. Hopefully they come out. It was laying right by the road today.

Saw some horses too. What does it mean when they bow to you and lift their left front leg? Does it mean they like you? I had two different horses do that to me today. Well I better study?

Love and Hugs,

Hellooo everyone, everything\'s fine here, except for my busy agenda, with changes in my work and visitors at home and in Barcelona, small children (funny but exahusting) included, luckily tomorrow afternoon will be a bit more peaceful, so I hope I\'ll be able to be here with you all for a while, we\'ll see...

I hope you\'re all ok and enjoying. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARÍA ASUNCIÓN, AND SORRY FOR THE DELAY!

Well, off to bed now, I\'m too tired! Take care and have all the fun you can. Kisses for everyone!
