Mornin\'...

That\'ll cure you, Mike CA, or at least you won\'t care that you\'re sick anymore.

Liz, maybe I can get some photos of the little birds when they get to flying, but I am being very careful not to disturb them now, and they are in a dark hole inside the planter and hard to see.

Enjoyed the cleek myself, Webbie. Wandered around there on YouTube and listened to some other Liam Clancy...always loved his singing. The man made poetry out of every song he sang.

Hi, Jane, Hi Phillis. Have a good day!

We had a very warm and sunny day today. It was the first real \'spring-day\' this year. Our nature is a bit behind in comparism to the other years but all the tulips and primroses and many other spring flowers are in full bloom. The daffodils are already gone but the flowers of my peach tree are out and the apple tree just needs one or two more sunny days to bloom. It was beautiful outside with the birds chirping. I did nothing today (nearly nothing except cooking). Just relaxed on the terrace with a book and some papers and lots of coffee and cake.

The last week was exciting enough for me and especially for Mr A. He had a really big project going on here that had his peak last Friday evening. He started this project more than three years ago.

Whatho chaps

Happy St George\'s Day one and all.

All I want to say about chickens is that battery farming is barbaric and one of the most satisfying jobs I had in my previous incarnation as a JCB jockey was demolishing a chicken farm that had gone bankrupt.

Webbie, it could also be named \'Falling Photographer Zone\' hehehehehe Just had the time to look for last week\'s cleeks but the Vaughan vs Gallagher video didn\'t work for me. It says \'this video isn\'t available in your country\'.

hehehehe, Pat, hop, hop, hop... The wildlife adventure of the day. I liked the photo of your wisteria bush. They are beautiful flowers/plants but wicked too. There\'s one in the neighbourhood here that mashed a huge wooden trellis. My neighbour wasn\'t happy.

Liz, I like travelling but it\'s always nice to be home again. The thing I miss most when I\'m away is to sleep in my own bed....

...and so I\'m off as it is waiting.

Ah, Annette, from what you are saying, that volcano erupting wasn\'t a surprise. If it is underneath a glacier, it must be like a pot with a lid on it. How very peculiar. Sure has caused a lot of trouble.

I worked so hard in my yard today, I am quite exhausted. I move plants around in my garden like other people rearrange their furniture...it\'s hard work. I\'ll sleep well tonight, I think, if I can make it to bed and don\'t fall asleep sitting at the computer.

Y\'all Take Care. Glad you had a nice trip, Annette, Welcome home.

Steph-Good question, Mt. St. Helens had a series of quakes for several weeks before the eruption, giving advance warning of what was to come. I hope the Yellowstone caldera doesn\'t decide to erupt the end of September while Mies & I are there. We\'ll be in West Yellowstone on the 18th, then on to Mammoth Hot Springs for a couple of nights, then who knows where. It should be fun, they say the Elk will keep us awake at night bugling. We hope so......

Annette-I let Mies out from the front compartment of the trailer today, but only because she promised to help me paint

Hello everyone, no time to talk today (as usual), but I wanted to tell you: I was meant to be sleeping at home right now, but I couldn\'t travel due to the closed airports because of the Iceland vulcano ash, so I\'m stuck in León and I\'ll travel back home by train tomorrow, it was a mess this morning talking to my boss several times (on a Sunday!!!), but she behaved well, and I\'ll sleep tonight at my parents\' home... I hope you\'re all ok, we\'ll talk longer soon, when I\'m back home, have a great week everyone, loads of hugs and kisses!

Prayers said for Helen and her mom. Glad you\'re a little better Liz.

A wonderful, gentle spring rain is falling. Perfect for the garden. The grandkids are here, sleeping at the moment. Will be going to an auction with their grandpa this morning while I\'ll be working.

I never would have guessed the \"whazit\" because I have never heard of it...what\'s the purpose? What does it do?

I haven\'t heard anything about the Iceland volcano, but I\'ve been on a dead run all day and haven\'t stopped to read the newspapers or hear anything on radio or TV. Sounds very peculiar and creepy. I guess the scientists will inform us what it\'s all about.

I hope all you U.S. citizens got your Income Tax returns in the mail. I did. It\'s the last day. Gawd, I hate taxes.

I\'m glad to hear you are getting better, Liz.

Tomorrow is a day for working in the yard, so I\'ll give you an update on the wren nest soon. I couldn\'t feel more protective of those little speckled eggs if they were my own, but I\'m not an egg-laying species. Still...they are adorable.

I see my wisteria bush is on CAM 5 today, it\'s a wild and tangled thing, but when it blooms, it\'s glorious.

Have a nice visit with Mr. A. family, Annette, and Everybody Stay Safe.

Hmmmmmmm, Mr Mies wasn\'t here to unravel the mystery. So, I want to tell you something about the \'Whazit\' yesterday. It\'s just a fish pass made of stone on one side of a wide canal. There was a weir where the river ran into the canal and the fish pass beside of the weir. Didn\'t see any fish though...

Ireland, Great Britain, Norway and some countries more are affected by a volcanic eruption in Iceland. The air space is closed over half of Europe. Pretty weird event. It never happened before in history.

We are going to visit some of Mr A\'s relatives over the weekend. It\'s a kind of family reunion. We will leave tomorrow morning and be back on Sunday. So, have a nice weekend all.
