Hello all...

Treasa, so nice to see you here.

A real nice variety of cleeks Webbie. Really got a kick out of the Mr. Bean. He\'s such a klutz and every time he tries to fix his mistakes he make it worse....very funny...

Nicer day here and a little warmer. Off to pack for the weekend...Yes, another tournament..We want to take our bikes this time so we\'ve been trying to ride every evening...

Morning everyone,

SUMMER, SUMMER SUMMER, Yes, we have (after 3 years) at last got a summer in Ireland..

I\'ve been missing for a while, but when I have bad news I try not to come here and moan.. but we have had lots of bad news in our area, accidents, and sickness, and it breaks my heart...

So I come on the GB to be cheerful with all my friends.

I have some good news as well, and I have lots of mails to answer. My own family is well Thank God, and so am I, but we hurt for friends, neighbours and friends of our children and their parents.

Hope everyone here is well, and having fine weather. Am going to read back some posts this evening and will talk some then. Just heard on the news of a big train crash in Washington DC. More families thrown into turmoil...

Love you all, take care and stay safe.

Catch you all later.

Hello all! I skimmed the entries, and I say no stew here, just some lemonade and a hammock please. I need to study, but it\'s hard on my three days off to sit and read. I can\'t sit still. I need my books on tape or something, so I can listen and go, go, go!!!

Anyways, not much excitement here. Summer is here, but still feels like fall. This has been the rainest June so far for a long time. I AM NOT COMPLAINING!!! I love the rain. The bad news is Thursday saw a rainbow at 6 am then another around 8 pm. I think that means no rain for a while. Well off to study and finish watering the lawn. I need a maid, except I can\'t pay for her. They\'ll have to work for free! Just joking. Well love and hugs,

And stay out of trouble Liz!

Humph. I come on here and tell you a tender story about firstborns, and y\'all hoot at me. Shame on you. I AM a gentle and serene woman, and I\'ll commit mayhem on any of you who says I\'m not. Errrr, mostly I am, anyway.

Mies, I said the same thing as you did, \"Never Again!\", but I had two more before I figured out what was causing them. I\'m not the brightest apple on the tree.

Lordy, I\'ve been working on this computer all day, trying to get a meeting attendance list straight for my boss who is in DC lobbying for passage of the clean energy act. I\'ve got 33 e-mails waiting for me to read and process with confirmations or regrets. I have to write back to those that want to come, but that we can\'t accommodate because of fire regulations in the meeting room. Bummer. I\'ll be working all evening.

See ya.

Liz, It\'s cold enough here to have stew. I\'ll have a nice big bowl and Webbie\'s share too, please...

Mike and Webbie, shame on you making fun of Pat\'s special story of how she turned from a girl to a woman by giving birth to her first born. Me too!...Only, instead I remember it more like feeling \"GAWD, I\'M GLAD THAT\'S OVER!!!\"...\"NEVER again!\"

Yes, Annette we froze or arses off. Good thing I had my friend Margarita to keep me warm...Have a great holiday...

Hello everybody, I also miss Treasa. I hope there didn\'t happen something to her.

I was in town today to get some things for our holiday ready. Long working day tomorrow but that will be the last one for this week and before we leave for holiday.

Of course, Pat, the birth of the firstborn changes a woman\'s life. And how it changed your life... impressing... hehehehe

Mieses, I\'m sorry for you. It seems there isn\'t really summer in your neck of the woods. And a frozen BBQ doesn\'t sound good either.

Webbie, I wouldn\'t mind eating the stew. No shark, please. They suffer enough. The rest of your menu is okay. So, perhaps, I\'ll follow Pat and have the scallops.

Liz, are all the meals ready? We are on the way...

Pat-Glad your heat wave is over, ours too. Yesterday we set a record low, even new snow in the Cascade Mtns. We had a Fathers Day BBQ at our daughters & I thought we would freeze on the patio, very cold & rainy.

Webbie-Your menu sounds just fine to me, no changes for me.

Good menu, Webbie, but let\'s switch out the shark steak for sea scallops with butter and parsley. Yum.

Well, I\'m off for another cup of coffee, then I have some phone calls to make and some work to do for the office. Tomorrow to the dentist (just the regular 6 month visit for cleaning and check-up, thank the Lord. In to town to the office on Wednesday, and that is the birthday of my firstborn. That\'s the event which changes a woman\'s life more than any other single thing, I think, so it\'s special in a way. I was a self-centered, spoiled girl until that day...but that event set me off on the path of becoming the lovely, gentle and serene, worthwhile woman I am today. And not a word to the contrary from any of you about that, or I will come over and tear your arms and legs off. Hehehehehe.

Bye!

Pat

Mornin\'...

This is supposed to be the last day of our heatwave here, that\'s a good thing. I\'ll be glad to get back to just hot from super-hot.

I was hoping our Treasa would have popped in this morning, but no word. I hope she is well.

Interesting pic yesterday, Mr. Nickisch. Looked like chocolate with nuts there for a minute, looked delicious. Playing with lights and colored glass, now, hard to know the effect you might get. There is no color without light, as color itself is the reflection of light on an object, and the glass makes it bounce around in amazing ways.

Ah, and another Eamon today. Very pretty, Eamon. I could take that one and blow it up to make a picture for the wall of the room I sit in, it would blend right in. Dark blue and blue grays and peaches and soft corals. Often, you can get a color scheme for a room from a painting, but that\'s the other way around.
