Hello all! Just trying to fix dinner, water the lawn and study. By the way, it\'s hot here for me. The weather channel says 79 Thurs - Sat, but the local internet site says 90\'s. I prefer the 70\'s since I have to go to the hubby\'s family reunion which is in Colorado. I hate traveling on the 4th of July.

Treasa, I truely am sadden by the sadness you and your family have suffered lately. I will pray that they maybe safe, and be able to remember those that they lost, and celebrate those lives.

Take each day to smell the roses all!

With that, I must admit, I have some scary news myself. My mother who has never had a healthy body, will have two surgeries this coming month. One on her bladder, and the other on her heart. I pray that during this time she can make it through. Definitely since she lost a cousin to heart surgery recently.

Love and Hugs,

Steph

Holy Mackerel, I just looked at the CAMS, and the SUN is shining brightly in Ireland, it\'s a glorious day, people actually have shadows attached to their feet and the flowers at O\'Shea\'s are blooming!

All Irish ignore all previous orders, and get outside. You\'ll get some Vitamin D on your skin, and put the pharmaceutical companies, who are robbers anyway, into a tailspin. It\'s a beautiful day. Go. Vaya con Dios.

Mornin\'...

Ah, we\'re in the summer doldrums here, as good-for-the-soul as a visit to the ProCathedral would be, I don\'t think it\'s going to cut it.

Maybe we ought to resurrect the search for Phil...and just to throw a little fuel on the fire, I will say that I think it was amazingly incompetent on the part of the Irish contingent here never to unearth the location and condition of the said Phil. After all, you are right on the scene. It remains one of the biggest unsolved mysteries of all time, and now you should take this opportunity to have another go at it and look like the heroes you really are.

Geez, there\'s nothing going on here, either, except a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico with a 50% chance of strengthening, and a waterspout on the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, spectacular but hurt no one.

Go, thou, and locate Phil and report back A.S.A.P. I think I\'ll have a nap this afternoon.

Runnin\'...

Treasa-So sorry to hear about your friends. We will keep them in our thoughts & prayers.

Annette-Have a great holiday, check in if you can, we\'ll look forward to story\'s & pictures wen you get back.

Liz-I\'ll be waiting for a ticket if you win the 90 million. In the mean time good luck keeping this bunch in line

Pat-My first horse was a palomino, I still like the looks of them.

Well we are off to Kettle Falls, we have to travel about 40 miles to pick-up the trailer & then take the back road there. It is a very scenic drive though, up the Columbia River with great views & lots of wildlife, Eagles, Osprey, Deer & maybe even a Black Bear. We\'ll try to post later, but sometimes internet service is scarce there.

You all have a great weekend

Ian’s partner Miriam has been going through a tough time as her 26 year old brother has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He is a wonderful young man, does not drink or smoke, really quiet and inoffensive, and now he is wracked with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and has spent the last 5 weeks in hospital, following the collapse of 2 vertebrae due to pressure from a tumour. But he is making good progress, and the prognosis for a full remission is good.

So I just ask you to say one silent prayer for these families and think of them for just 1 moment today.

Yesterday, we had the funeral of a husband and wife who were killed in an accident in the US. The husband and I worked for the same firm many years ago, before he moved to the US. They lived in a place called Madison in Wisconsin and they were driving through Iowa going on holidays when the accident happened. To make things even more tragic (if that is possible), it was their 15 year old daughter that was driving the van. She, and her brother (13 years) and sister (10years and autistic) escaped serious injury. So now they are left orphaned. It’s a sad, sad world.

Morning everyone,

Well, a bit grey this morning with rain, but it fits the mood. Not a time for sunny skies today for some families anyway.

Sad week, this week. We have funerals to attend and sicknesses to deal with.

Firstly, a friend of Johnny’s who has been working in Dubai for the past 2 years was tragically killed in a road accident there last week. It was a horrific accident involving 2 cars which bust into flames after crashing head on, and killing 6 people in all. The father and brother of Donal (Johnny’s friend) had to travel to Dubai to donate DNA sample to make a positive id possible, and make arrangements to have the body brought home. Such a sad time, and Johnny and all his friends are so upset. It has opened Johnny’s grieving wounds wide again, and he has been pretty ill all week. The funeral takes place today. So very sad for the family, as they had already had a child that died aged 9 months.

Hey, I made it through the dentist visit without finding it necessary to strike anybody at all...actually it was very easy.

I hope you have a wonderful trip, Annette. I\'ve seen some pictures of Santander, it looks wonderful, colorful and lots of nice flowers, and I don\'t think the mountains are too far away. Don\'t do too much Spanish dancing, now, you\'re not used to it.

Vaya con Dios.

I got a postcard from Mar in NY. I suppose she is back home recuperating now.

Mieses are off to another tournament, too, seems everybody is traveling.

I have had a very busy week, I can\'t wait for the weekend to get here so I can get some relaxation.

Everybody stay safe.
