\'Night, Liz. Sleep tight.

Annette, I went to see that rock website...Holy Mackerel, that is knockout stuff. If Mr. Mies got away with only spending $500, he is lucky. Mies must have been in rock heaven. Truly artistic and imaginative use of the material. Gorgeous, especially the water features. I like rocks OK, I\'m not crazy about them, but I was really impressed. Poor Mies must be flat out, she\'d be quite overcome with all that.

My deepest sympahty, Liz, Ellen, Marie and Jim for the passing of Chrissy. I\'m so sorry. It\'s so sad to hear.

Mr Mies, thanks for the hint. I googled www. sunriseridgerock. com and got a pretty good overview over their products. Very tempting but the transport costs... Does Webbie already extended his cart-business to the USA? That could be a possibility to carry some rocks for me. hehehehe

Mick, her indoors and her mate are tough ladies. It\'s right that the chap was charged for his aggressiveness. Serves him right.

My ice pack is gone and I feel good today. But a part of my face is a bit yellow. I skipped the blue/red phase. Though, with a yellow face to work tomorrow. That\'s going to be fun.

Have a nice start into the new week all.

Mick-That\'s how I feel when it gets hot here. I keep checking the Glacier Park web cams & remembering how nice it was there last year. It doesn\'t look like a trip back this year is in the works. We are planning our annual trip up the river to Montana in late September.

Now it\'s off to the building supply store to buy a truck load of lumber for a new shed.

Hello chaps

Patricia - Seems the chap was charged with two separate offences and was fined 300 with 400 costs for threatening \'er indoors and her mate and given a 12-month conditional discharge for using threatening and abusive language to a jogger.

Very hot and humid today, sort of weather that makes me want to be by a river somewhere just watching the world go by or strolling on a high and windy ridge.

Oh did I make a mistake today, our daughter needed some flagstones for her walk. I told them they could borrow our big truck, Mies decided we should go to help them load them. (I got a free breakfast in the deal) We came home with over 3000# of rocks, 800# & $500.00 worth stayed here. My advise to Mr. Annette don\'t let Annette go to Sunrise Trucking in the Spokane Valley. They have several acres of all sizes & types of rock, from flat flagstones to large basalt columns. They will also custom cut, drill & shape them into birdbaths, fountains or benches. Next time we go we\'ll take a camera & send pictures, their landscaping is amazing.

Yeah!!! Our heat wave broke last night. Rain & thunder storms & record lows all overv the area. Not good for the wheat farmers as many were just starting harvest, but great for the people fighting wildfires. I\'ll take the cooler temperatures & moisture over the weekend.

It was great last night sitting on the deck listening to the rain & watching the lightening. Then waking up about 1:00am & turning off the A/C & falling asleep listening to nothing

But wait, I was going, but had to pop back to say \"Good Luck\" to \'er indoors. Let us know how that turns out, Micilin. Seems like the ladies have been having to deal with a nasty nut case.

Some people will keep on and on with stupid behavior until the law pulls them up short. It usually does them good in the long run.

Beautiful day here, not a drop of rain predicted all day, that\'s nice, as we have had many stormy rain showers for a week. Nice beginning for the weekend.

Y\'all have a good one. Take Care.

Nice tan that young fella has, isn\'t it, Liz? Hehehehehe.

Mornin\'...

Well, Micilin, good news and bad, huh? And it always seems that the thing we have to give up is whatever we like best. Bummer. You can do it, though.

Stonehenge. The small scale of it is what surprized me in Mar\'s pic. It always looks so massive in photos, great stones scattered around covering acres, but it is much more compact and organized than I visualized. Still, so mysterious, I loved that pic.

Annette - Sorry to read about your molar misery, hope it gets better soon.

Went back to the docs for my annual assesment yesterday. Good news is my BP is down to a reasonable level, but cholesterol up and still a diabetes risk so more blood tests. Also had a stern lecture about my expanding waistline and dietary advice.

Food\'s not my problem, it\'s my love of real ale and chardonnay that\'s my downfall.

But, I know I gotta do something - two cousins, one in his early 50s - a former professional footballer - and the other in his late 40s, have had heart attacks in the past coupla months - fortunately they both survived.

Patricia - Stonehenge ain\'t that impressive when you see it in the flesh so to speak.

Just reminds me of long wet nights on Salisbury Plain wishing the rain would stop long enough to scoff a wad before it fell apart.

Whatho blokes

Got a day off today - \'er indoors is a witness for the prosecution in a trial at Luton Magistrates Court so I\'m dog sitting.

The nut of it is that her and her dog walking muckers fell foul of a local landowner who threatened physical violence and to shoot Seamus and his poochy pals.

Wrong move - he\'s lucky she didn\'t rip his lights out and feed them to the dogs.

It was the culmination of a series of incidents during which he had threatened people - funnily enough all of them women.

Webbie - Great clicks. I loved The Beatles in their early years. Much preferred them to the Stones - scruffy oiks.

Went off them when they went hippie, but the early stuff still rocks my boat.
