Awwww, Mies. That\'s too bad about Debbie\'s bike. I hope that guy\'s caught. That\'s pretty nervy, in broad daylight and using cutters. Jeez.

Apalachicola and Panama City west of me had a tropical storm pass through today, I was working outside up until 4 PM, then it began to rain, I guess the edge of the storm clpped this area. Wasn\'t bad, though. There are a couple of worse storms headed this way later in the week...I\'ll have to pay attention to them.

Loved the cow picture, Annette. Amazing that they just wander around. Cow tipping would be a funny thing to do, if you could do it and it didn\'t hurt the cow. I wonder if you could tip elephants. I can tip Ms Cat, but I only ever do it on the bed to make her lie down and quit stomping around. She likes it, I think. Try it on Pepe, Mar.

Gotta go. Y\'all be good.

Hello everyone, I\'m so tired after the busy weekend (cooking and cleaning, washing and ironing clothes, laying on the beach, having \"tapas\" with friends, playing with Pepe, and specially, sweating and trying to breathe under the burning sun, it\'s soooo hot here!!!). Again, I didn\'t have time to sit in front of the computer... I hope I\'ll have time soon, we\'ll see. I hope you\'re all ok and enjoying. Mies, I read the sad story about your daughter\'s bike, too bad, it happens constantly here in Barcelona, I know people who only buy really cheap and old second hand bikes, because they\'re sure their bikes are going to be stolen sooner or later, amazing... I hope your daughter\'s bike won\'t be stolen again, we\'ll see...

Off to sleep now, take care and have a great week, hugs and kisses for everyone!
Mies

It\'s just frustrating and sad. The bike meant a lot to her and nothing to the creep that took it except something to sell for drugs. Grrrrrrrrr....

I hope he burns in H E double L!!!....OOPS, sorry Father O\', didn\'t mean to say that, especially on Sunday...

Hey ya all, thanks for listening

A couple of months ago she bought a new, lighter, very expensive bike for the events at REI (outdoor gear).

Her and hubby (Scott) decided to ride bikes to REI to see what else she needed for today\'s event. They securely locked their bikes at the designated bike rack next to the store, a busy area with lots of people walking in and out of store & also in broad daylight.

Yes, when she came out of the store her bike was gone. The store ran their surveillance camera and there was the thief with cutters and walking away with bike. Nobody seemed to care. She was heartbroken and sick watching it happen. She also had to buy a new bike at REI as she needed one for the marathon. She won\'t have time to get used to it or break it in so that is not good.

Hiya all..Before I start the day\'s work, I thought I would tell you something that happened yesterday to our daughter, Debbie.

Last year she decided it was time to get in shape. She joined Weight Watchers last fall, and lost over 80lbs.

She also started to participate in local triathlons, where you run, swim, & bike. Today she is doing one at Medical Lake called \"Tri For Your Bones\", an Osteoporosis event. Debbie spends lots of time training, even riding her bike several miles to work a couple times a week.

Steph, if it\'s water and it\'s frozen, it counts as SNOW. We had lots of rain yesterday but kept working in between showers. Today is sunny so Caleb and I should be able to work steady most of the day.

Annette, thanks a lot for reminding us that winter is just around the corner! Mies says to give you a smilie message about sending the rocks to you.

Off to do shed building.

The pictures of the \'Moynalty Festival\' were great. I would steal (or nick ) some horses right away.

We saw many wild horses in Spain. They are on their own most of the year. I will send some photos to you. There are also hundreds of cows in the mountains. Mr Mies, there isn\'t someone who watches them. They climb through the steep mountains like a chamois and you are always afraid they could tip (without help ) to the abyss. They appear everywhere and at any time. On the narrow winding streets up the mountains, on car parks around the refuges, on the ways up and down the mountains and and and... Pictures will follow soon.

Our BBQ and the party yesterday got me a bit down. I guess I will have an early night today.

To all I missed...

Phew, pretty hot summer day here today. I can\'t complain about the temperatures and the sunshine since we are back from our holidays. Very nice weather. Just very dry and I\'m always busy with watering the big pot plants outside. I wonder where Treasa is and how the weather conditions are around her place.

Mieses, when winter is round your corner (as Mr Mies said) you don\'t really need your rocks. They will be buried under huge piles of snow in some days and nobody can see them. And perhaps Mr Mies will get hurt when he clears the snow. My suggestion: just ship them to me. We have beautiful sunshine and fine weather and I can display them all year long. You\'re welcome.

Stephanie, enjoy the week without school.

Mr. Mies,

Does left over hail constitute as snow? Still have some on the ground. I actually video taped the storm. I thought a weak funnel cloud was going to come down, but it didn\'t. There was rotation in the cloud though. I think Togotee Pass got some snow. Fall is coming soon!!! We all think it will be an early winter here.

Hello all! Not much happening here. We had a nasty storm roll through yesterday. There still is hail on the ground from it. One more week of freedom until I go back to the school. I really am trying to stay out of trouble. No cow tipping here though, because they will attack you! Anyways hope everyone is doing fine, and staying out of trouble for now. You can\'t get in trouble when your sleeping, right?

Love and Hugs,

Mornin\'...

Great Sunday morning cleeks, Webbie. Those will get you in gear to start the day. Thank you.

Nice Ocean City, MD shot on CAM 5 today, Dee Langevin. I spent many a weekend in OC back in the day. Ah...the memories. I wonder if they still have a boardwalk.

It\'s sunny here this morning, but there is a storm in the Gulf of Mexico, and two bigger ones that might become hurricanes following it to arrive late in the week. That\'s the price you pay for living in the land of almost continuous sunshine.

I hope y\'all are having a nice Sunday. Be good.

Cow tipping? Hmmmmm, I never heard of that activity. Maybe that\'s an amusement of the people of the other side of the big puddle. I NEVER would only think of it... hehehe

Very late here or early (after 1 am) depending how you look at it. We had a little party and now I\'m ready for bed... Tomorrow... no wait... later today I will tell you more about the cows.

Thanks Webbie.

Cow tipping or cow pushing is the purported activity of sneaking up on a sleeping, upright cow and pushing it over for fun. In reality, though, cows do not sleep standing up. Therefore cow tipping is a myth.

This means Annette really had a hard time pushing over that cow...Your Welcome

Well Liz, you are right Franka is cleared from Cow Tipping...Annette is the culprit for sure..

Seagulls engines?...I had never heard of them. Of course, that means nothing as I am not very savvy on boat motors. They look like the Johnson\'s of his Dads. They are nothing like the big, expensive gas guzzlers of today.

Mr. M had to go back to work last night as he is on call this week. We had the heater on in the truck, it was soooooo cooold!. Geez, seems like we never have normal weather anymore. We go from one extreme to the other. Next week suppose to be in the 90\'s again....

Shed building weekend for us. Rain or shine..

Have a good one ya\' all..

Come on Annette, fess up. You were Cow Tipping weren\'t you?} Which one of you did it? Robert? Mr. Annette? Franka? I BET it was you! Fun photo and beautiful view. Thank you for sharing...

Something\'s rotten in Denmark or maybe I mean Sweden.. A ransom scam drummed up between Erica and our Webmiester??? When is he going to learn that his GB visitors are cheapskates?

We liked the Moynalty video. The old outboard motors reminded us of Mr. Mies\'s Dad. He had at least a dozen of the old Johnson motors. We think his Mom sold them at her garage sale for next to nothing...

Webmaster-Comment: I think those engines were Seagulls.

Nice picture om CAM5 Annette, that looks like one of the 3 cows I milked morning & night when I lived in Idaho. The hills look pretty steep, I\'m not sure I\'d like to herd cows in those hills.
