I promise you I\'ll try to be here more often from now on, even though it\'s just for a while after exercising in the gym or wandering with friends, I\'ll try to keep the contact.

Take care and have all the fun you can today, and a great week from tomorrow on. Hugs and kisses to everyone! (siesta!)

Well, I think this is all for now, I had many more things to tell you, but I can\'t remember them now, it must be that I\'m hungry because I still haven\'t had lunch (it\'s almost 4pm here now, but I was busy reading and answering posts!) and my brain doesn\'t work properly. By the way, I think I must have made some mistakes while writing, sorry for them. I\'m going to prepare a delicious pizza now in my oven, and then, of course, some delicious ice-cream, that\'s what summer is for, right?

Treasa, I didn’t see posts from you in the last pages, but I read something about a trip to USA, is it true? If it is, lucky you, I envy you soooo much! Where are you exactly going in USA? Will you be able to visit some of our American friends? Let us know about it, please, I’m looking to know the details! And give the cute Val a little caress in his head, he, heee...

Seán, Sue, Gary, Marie, and everyone I might have forgotten, I hope you\'re all ok and having fun

Jim, I’m very sorry for your loss, I hope the whole family will be recovered soon, I’ll try to take a look at your new blog this afternoon I loved the video of Dublin seen from the motorbike, specially when I recognised the blue building in front of the O’Shea hotel, he, heee…

Eamon, beautiful picture in cam-5 some days ago, congratulations

Dermot, I’m sure you enjoy a lot staying in Courtmacsherry, the description of it in Wikipedia sounds great!

Mike Ca, I’m so sorry I missed your birthday! I hope you had a great day, and as many gifts as the number in your age, ha, haaa… Congratulations, friend! By the way, I\'m sure the huge fire in California was not due to the candles in your cake... (a stupid joke, I\'m sorry, but I just couldn\'t help it! , ), but seriously speaking, I hope it\'ll be over soon and no one will be hurt or damaged in any way any more, specially you and your family, of course

Annette, busy woman, very nice picture in cam-5 with the playful black dog By the way, you already took nice pictures with your old camera, you’ll do perfect photos with the new one! I also hope that summer will last for a bit longer, even though it’s too hot here, I know I’ll miss it in winter How good you had a great time in Dresden with Franka (give her kisses from me, please), how bad you had to lose time with the people in the tax office

Pat, the way you describe your son-in-law’s house in Alabama… wow, it sounds so great! Ted Kennedy is also in the Spanish TV news, they talk about him as a great man, RIP. They also talk about Michael Jackson all the time, though in a quite different way, of course. And the truth is I feel more sorry for Michael Jackson than the way I feel for Ted Kennedy, Michael was much younger and had a more troubled life… or maybe not…

Steph, too bad about your broken washer machine, at least it didn’t burn your house. I also have a big fridge and I can’t move it, how good I have a “plain” sort of broom to clean under it Good luck in your return to school, I hope they won’t make you work a lot

Mies, I love Mr.Mies’s system of putting his socks in the right place… the

floor! Still, too bad that you fell and hurt your ankle, I hope it’s completely cured today, is it, friend? Ice tea, my favourite drink in the last months (God, it’s sooo hot here!)

Mr.Mies, how good the huge wave didn’t hurt anyone, at least broken things can be repaired I hope you’ll have a great day with the kids today (such a nice activity) and I also hope wasps won’t sting Mies anymore!

Webbie, here in Barcelona there’s also a French man who rides his bike in the streets wearing absolutely nothing, not even a thong, he’s a naturist who supports nudism everywhere at any time. The amazing thing is that he’s only been fined for “public exhibitionism”, because, believe it or not, wandering through the streets of Barcelona completely naked IS NOT ILLEGAL!!!!

Liz, I just read about Reghan in hospital, too bad, I’m glad to know she’s already at home, I just hope (and pray for it) that she won’t have more problems with her kidneys in the future, keep us informed about it, please One of my colleagues is married to a man from New Zealand, and they travelled last month to Australia and met the husband’s family there (they already were in New Zealand some years ago), and they ADORED Australia, they liked everything they saw! Gives loads of kisses from me to your grandchildren, they must be growing so fast

And as long as I\'ve also been reading many posts and I have many things to tell you, there I go!

Mick, I hope you\'re enjoying the 3-day weekend (lucky you!) with your “all-singing, all-dancing” camera? What’s this? Don’t ask me why, but I can easily imagine you as a cowboy, riding a splendid black horse and with Seamus following you hoping in some funny way… why??? I hope you\'ll have a pleasant return to \"normality\" afer the weekend

Apart from this, everything\'s ok here and I was looking forward to read about you all. I\'ve started taking a look at the last pictures in cam-5 and wow! I’ve seen many lovely pictures there for this month, with many animals there: I loved the bear, the elephant, the horses, the dogs and cats, the dove, the awl, Liz’s pets… even the deer on the rock and the cow’s bottom, he, heee… And of course I adored Dee Langevin’s shot of NYC, it brought me such nice memories…

I\'ve also taken a look at Webbie\'s cleeks and also: wow! Very good cleeks, thank you! By the way, I had read about “turf” in Roddy Doyle and Frank McCourt’s novels, but I had never seen it, thank you for the nice pictures too

So the doctor, who\'s finishing his hilodays today, is seriously talking about a \"little and simple chirurgical (sp?) intervention\", on Tuesday I\'ll be visiting him again, he\'ll see the last X-ray \"photo\" on my knee and he\'ll definitely decide whether he\'ll operate me or not, we\'ll see. If he decides to do it, I\'ll make him a large list of questions, because the only things I know is that I\'d have to sleep one night in the hospita and I\'d have to suffer for a week until i could be fully recovered, but I need to know many more details before having an operation on my knee, no matter how small it is, right? I\'ll tell you about it when you can

The only thing I can complain about is my left knee, the one who already gave me trouble 5 years ago and is giving trouble and pain to me again now, it started hurting in March or April, and since then, I\'ve been visiting the doctor several times a month. We\'ve tried everything: ice on it, medicines, special gym and rehabilitation in a medical center, gym on my own, cortisone infiltrations, taking out the extra sinovial liquid in it, etc... Nothing worked, and even though I can walk more or less in a normal way (not for too long, and most of the time with a tight bandage on it), I still can\'t run or use stair in both directions (up and down), too bad...

Everything is more or less ok here. I\'m having a great summer, even though it\'s extremely hot and humid in Barcelona (but I know I\'ll miss it in winter), but I\'ve spent many hours in the swimming pool and in the beach (both lying and walking along the seashore, so nice), and also having tapas and cool drinks with friends and colleagues, shopping a bit in the summer sales, sleeping lovely siestas in front of the ventilator, reading the neverending novel by Ken Follet \"A world without end\", etc. etc.

Patricia - Spiffing cowboy tale on the email

Don\'t know what awaits us when we shuffle off this mortal coil, but if there\'s a wah back I\'m gonna be a cowboy next time round.

You never know with retirement looming I just might take you up on your invitation.

Mies - I have posted a couple of pics to webbie, but they haven\'t appeared yet.

Chilly old weekend this side of the pond, dry (so far) with a cool breeze from the west.

Beef stew and dumplings for dinner (lunch) yummee.

There was a very large landslide on Tuesday on Lake Roosevelt, where I fish walleyes mostly. It was across the river from Porcupine Bay Campground & the wave destroyed most of the docks there. Even worse it completely cover the Blue Creek Campground, both are closed now & are always very, very busy on Labor Day weekend which is next weekend. The Blue Creek Campground was on the Spokane Indian Reservation & luckily was not occupied when it happened. Only one person was slightly injured when the 6\' high wave crossed the lake & hit the Porcupine docks.

Evening all or whatever wherever you are. Oh Boy!! The end of a long, long week. Tomorrow is our CAST For Kids event, where we take handicapped kids out fishing. It\'s been a strain this year getting kids signed up. The Shrine Hospital here has had 3 recreation directors since November & just laid off 19 people so at the last moment they backed out. Then the plaques were sent back to the factory, UPS couldn\'t find us. Western States has only been there for 56 years & they found us everyday for everything else.

Mies has been working on the landscaping around the shed & was stung yesterday 2 more times by wasps. I found a large nest under our deck tonight, they are BAD this year.

Patricia I am in total agreement with you about zoos. Surely they\'re not even needed for educational purposes in this day and age.

Ellen wrote a lovely tribute to Chris on the blog earlier. And my son filmed the area of where Chris was born and where we all played as kids.... Liz too. I wonder will anyone spot O\'Sheas and of course the home of our own GB.

Good news for Liz tonight. As you might know I\'m on first name terms with ol\' Inch High PI. Well he hasn\'t been idle. He\'s currently in discussion with Phil\'s brother in law, and with Phil\'s sister who lives in Finglas. I wouldn\'t be at all surprised if an announcement was made here fairly soon.

Are ya listening Liz?

Night all.
