We had very nice weather over the last weeks. That was one of the reasons why I wasn\'t on here. It was warm, sunny and just beautiful outside (Sorry, Mick. I couldn\'t send the sunshine to you.). And I didn\'t want to sit inside after work while the sun was shining. We enjoyed the warm evenings in the garden, went off for some bicycle tours or just had a chat with the neighbours over the garden fence. It would be okay with me when the weather doesn\'t change. But, yesterday, we got a little rain and today it\'s a bit windy. The forecasters say the sun will come back next week and I hope so...

I\'m out to have a look for Webbie\'s cleeks this week. Back later.

Hello everyone, I\'m back after a very busy week. I couldn\'t come on here as there were too many things going on around our place. I saw it was pretty quiet on the GB. But Pat, Liz and Mr Mies held the fort. Though, Mr Mies was busy, too. He was just able to write 15 words in 45 minutes. Phew, that\'s worse than here around. Poor old chap. hehehe

Mr Mies, tell your boss you will run the store with a better organisation when he pays you a neat amount of money.

Pat, I must admit, I like \'horse piss\'. But just the draft Guinness in our Irish pubs. I don\'t like the beer from bottles or tins much.

Hey, Spooky from Colorado.

Nice to see you. I\'d talk longer, but I\'m out of here before Zardoz and Webbie see what I said about Guinness and I get killed.

Mornin\'...

Hah, there you are, Zardoz. Might have known the sight of a glass of Guinness would bring you to the surface. How are you, anyway?

I\'m not much of a beer drinker at all, but I do enjoy a bottle of Miller\'s Lite with steamed crabs outdoors in the summer, right out of the bottle, so I\'m not an entire sissy.

However, and here comes heresy from the lady who admires almost all things Irish, and at the risk of being barred from this GB forever, and tarred and feathered besides...Guinness is horse piss.

To be sure, I wasn\'t brought up on it, and haven\'t had it draft in Ireland, but one taste of what comes out for export here convinced me. So, I won\'t join in the fight for that one on CAM 5 today, and may God have mercy on my soul. I\'m as good as dead. Hehehehehe.

Bye.

Pat

About my last post, I started it before both of Liz\'s posts. Not bad about 45 minutes for 15 or so words. But I did write about 8 parts orders in that time & ignored 3 voice mails & 1 instant message. Tomorrow is my last day in Hayden & I can\'t wait till it\'s over. Nice store but completely unorganized. We should have had a full crew there for a couple of weekends getting it together before it was opened.

We\'ve got some sun here this morning, but promises of thunderstorms this afternoon. We\'ve had so much rain lately that we have some minor flooding on local rivers, but no hurricanes, thank The Lord.

I\'m out of here. I have to put a new ink cartridge in my printer, and I dislike that job, but I\'ve got lots of printing to do today. Hope you are all having a nice day (or night). Take Care.

Mornin\'...

Very pretty colors in the shot on CAM 5, Mark Westlake. It looks like a stained glass memorial window. The words are the 4th stanza of a poem by an Englishman, Lawrence Binyon, in honor of the young English soldiers who died in WWI. Yes, I did have to look that up, it was just vaguely familiar.

Interesting to find that in Kinsale. Makes a person wonder what the story behind it might be.

I enjoyed seeing it. Thank you.

Hello chaps

It\'s 5.10pm on Wednesday, I\'m looking out my office window and it\'s raining again and almost dark already.

More like the tail end of November than the first week of September.

Been at the paper 20 years this week. didn\'t feel much like celebrating but a nice kind young lady brought me in as bottle of Scotch as a thank you for publicising her rock-\'n\'-roll shows so I might have a little snifter later.

Patricia - You can come on the cowboy jaunt as long as you remember a woman\'s place is with the chick wagon - only joking.

Mieses, google \"wasp trap\" and you will find instructions to make some from 2-liter soda bottles. Do use the yellow tape around the rim. The purchased one I have is yellow, and it really does attract them. I use just sugar water in that one, and it catches an amazing number of them. No, Mar, it isn\'t an electric bug zapper, no purple light, but it really does the job.

I\'m having some trouble here getting my mouse to work. It probably has something to do with the big dollop of chocolate ice cream that Erin dropped om it. That kind of ran down into the cracks and I can\'t get it out, and can\'t find the screws to take the mouse apart, either. I think I\'ll need a new one.

Off to work. Y\'all have a good day.

Mornin\'...

Nice pic, Sean Fada. Fishing boat, it seems, with those big nets. I can see how they would get lowered into the water to pick up the fish, but it seems a small boat to hold all the catch from those tremendous nets. Great, bright photo. Thanks.

It\'s dreary here this morning. We\'ve had too many rainy days lately to suit me. Bummer.
