It\'s not too bad Liz. You get used to it. Got a new pair of heavy duty wellies last week so not too bad for the job.

Dickie must be on the 70 mark now. I remember him when he was a gasun. I used pal around with his grandfather in Cabra.

CAM 5 is spectacular!

The language on this board is shocking...teehee

Haunting words, \"I will fight no more forever\"...think I\'ll use that on the hubby next time he starts fussing.

Hospital awaits.

More on Chief Joseph

If you Google Chief Joseph and then click on PBS-The West Chief Joseph Speaks it is very interesting.

Some more Chief Joesph facts:

He died in 1904 on the Colville Reservation & was buried in Nespelum, Wa, just a few miles from Buckley Bar where I fish walleyes in Feb. & Lake Rufus Woods is the backwater from Chief Joesph Dam. He & some followers were allowed to return to the Northwest, but not to their native lands in Idaho & Oregon. There is a great museum & visitor center alongside the Clearwater River that Mies & I have visited many times. It has lots of original Nez Perce clothing, artifacts, headdresses & even a full sized replica sweatlodge.

Lovely pic on CAM 5, Eamon.

Never mind, Tomato Woman, I\'ll be a witness for you, I saw that too. And that about it being a lucky thing about Father O\'Mahoney being on retreat, and Webbie tut-tutting all over the place. That Webbie is playing games again.

I had to go out to a meeting, I\'m just back, so I missed all the swearing, but then I never swear at all, of course. Well, hardly ever. And then I only use Webbie-approved cuss words.

Annette, you are safe from Madam Woo\'s tender loving care, Tomato Woman did send me that recipe. It looks very good.

Sorry you spilled your p**king tea, Mr. Mies. I can never read that speech of Chief Joseph\'s without getting choked up with admiration for such simple dignity, and pity, too, for the circumstances that brought it forth.

I\'m off to bed. Y\'all take Care.

Yup, that about sums up this day. One $18,000.00 quote that I worked on all day, soaked with Oolong Tea, & before it can be copyed I have to update everything again. The machine is so old the computer won\'t do the updates, oh well I type about 4 words a minute if they aren\'t big words. It should be done again tomorrow about 10:30.

Yup 4ket it\'s 5:30 & I\'m going home

Mick-Hostiles were on the sides of this river it also is where the Nez Perce tribe, led by Cheif Joesph, fled from the US Army. Before being captured in 1877, in Montana,1,700 miles later & only 40 miles from Canada & freedom. When surrendering he said \"Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever.\"

BAG!!!! (Whoops! I hope Madam Woo didn\'t think I was addressing her)...

Yup, paper bag..Spell my way out of a paper bag. I didn\'t think hat was right. I probably had Liz\'s red hat on my mind.

Geez Pat, you don\'t have to cuss at me:

Just say \"I can\'t spell. **** all\"....

hmmmm, I am trying to fill in the ****...does it start with a \"p\" and end in a \"k\"????

Madam Woo here.

Really, Ms Annette, you are

an ungrateful wretch.

Didn\'t I once cure you of a dreadful habit, something like getting out of bed in the middle of the night, and you only were likely to be in the hospital 3 or 4 days to get cured of the injuries sustained during the treatment. It\'s awful not to be appreciated. Humph.

The saying is \"Can\'t punch my way out of a paper bag\", but you are a little off the subject.

Just say \"I can\'t spell. 4ket all\". Saint Webbie approved language. It is, it is!

Bye.

Hello everybody, I can\'t believe it. I had two days off and didn\'t find time to post here. Yesterday, I started packing my case for our \'girls-trip\' and then decided to clean up some wardrobes/closets at one go. I can just say: wrong decision... It turned out to be a life-task, probably.

Well, I\'ve just enjoyed Webbie\'s cleeks... ...and got sidetracked, of course. Now, again, no time is left to write a long post. I\'m too tired and my bed is waiting. I have to get up very early tomorrow morning.

I hope I can send Pat that recipe for tomato-relish tomorrow, too. Otherwise she will send me Madam Woo and I\'m not sure if I set a high value on her companionship or advice.

I will be home late after work tomorrow but will think of a special friend for sure.

Mick, You\'d been perfect for the Lewis & Clark gang. Camp cook and lookout for unfriendly foe. Ah man, you\'d love the Clearwater.

I hope I didn\'t use any unmentionable words in my posts today...I\'m p*nking sorry if I did

Oh thank you Webbie for posting the Clearwater River pic. Every time we follow it, no matter what the weather conditions, it\'s true to it\'s name. You can literally see every detail down to the bottom. We also travel along the Lochsa River(lock-saw), a Flathead Indian word meaning rough water. And it is. \"Wild and Senic\"...

Can just see myself mosyeing down to the river and unsaddling my ol cayuse - making camp for the night and rustling up a plate of bacon and beans.

Have to keep an eye out fer pesky hostiles in them trees though.
