Webbie, I loved all the videos (Platters, Roy Orbison, Boney M, Cher, that cute Matthew Lombart, the Manfreds in Erfurt!, and the Irish music…) That young boy can tell anything, that slow worm is not a snake, but personally I think that anything with no legs and sticky skin is some kind of snake, and nothing’s going to convince me to change my mind!!!! Is it true? Can we say “4ket” here without being punished? Me too? However, everybody else can say \"pi*k\" and nothing happens, it\'s not fair!!! <--(I was anxious for using this smilie, I must admitt it... )

Mick, take a good care of your beloved and useful worms, but don’t send them here! We have enough small (and not so small) snakes here (some of them were at the militar parade this morning, in a preferent location…) Don’t worry, I have already warned PHYLLIS (AND OTHERS...) about the use of the word “pi*k” here in the GB, and I’m sure she’ll be more careful the next time… Did you enjoy the battle re-enactments this weekend? When will you go again to the Lake District? I feel envious!!!

Pat, hello, my best wishes for Lauren, I hope she’ll win all her coming matches, she’s a natural winner Do you still have vinyl records? They say they’re coming back, a new fashion or something like that, but I stick to DVD’s and CD’s, I’m afraid Glad to know Mrs.Cat is ok, there’s a special tool for putting pills inside a cat’s mouth, but still, you have to open the cat’s mouth anyway… good luck, friend Purple colour again for this winter? It’s been the fashionable colour for the last 2 years, I have purple clothes, but I’m a bit fed up now!

MIES!!!! I\'ve seen you!!!! You\'d better run, or otherwise not even Madame Woo will save you this time (I recommend that you wait and read the post I have prepared for Madame Woo, you and your personal welfare are involved) Apart from this:

have you already eaten all those tomatoes you had? Or have you been able to get rid of them somehow? Let me tell you, the worms poem was a bit disgusting, don’t you think? You’re right, if you ever see a raccoon again, just run! (such a scary story, the raccoons attacking that poor woman…) If you respect the ban on the word “pi*k”, I’ll respect your banning on the word “sn*w”, until then... SN*W, SN*W, SN^W!!!!

Liz, my knee is getting better and better everyday, I\'ll run all the way from Barcelona to Oz if necessary, if you ever use the word \"pi*k\" in vain again, ok? Apart from this, that Labrador who was in cam-5 is just like my sister’s Doberman, so young (the Doberman is only 1 year and a half old) but huge! In fact my sister and brother-in-law got a female dog so that she would be a bit smaller, and now they’ve told them that their dog is bigger than normal for a female, haa, haaa… That pool party also sounds great, well done! I actually know what “diddy” means in Dublin, I read Roddy Doyle’s novels, haaa, haaaaaaaa……

Phyllis, now I go with the serious stuff...

As somebody told you (I think), I HATE!!!! the pi*k colour, so I banned it here a long time ago, I forgive you this time for using it here, but I won’t have mercy the next time… (MIES AND LIZ, YOU TOO!!!) However, I loved your new curse word, I think I’m going to use it here too, really, I laughed sooooo much and soooo loud when I read it! (I love your sense of humour)

Phyllis, today I start with you, I have a couple of things to tell you... Naaay, don\'t worry, I won\'t be cruel, I\'m not Madame Woo...

First the current things:

wow, I use to hate my life every morning, when I have to wake up at about 6-6:15 am, but your situation is still worse, I hope at least you’ll have time to sleep siesta, or do you go to bed early in the afternoon? Can we see pictures of your horses? (I love horses, they’re so beautiful!) Are you ready for Xmas yet? It’s a bit too early for me, I don’t want to hear about it until December 8th at least! (even though I love it) 2 novels in 4 days? Wow, you’re a fast reader!

By the way, in case you were interested, the race was a fierce battle between a British and an Austrian, and the British finally won. Later, while everything was supposed to be over and I was having a great time sort of sleeping my siesta in the sand, they made me stand up all of a sudden from the comfortable sand, when they decided to ride in a car through the beach for the audience to clap and cheer them more closely, they almost rode over me and my friends!

And now, my answers to your last posts (pi*k! I\'ve laughed so much while reading them...)

So, I\'ve just had a three-day weekend full of beach, books and films at home, resting and sleeping a lot, etc. etc. I hope this explains why I keep being so absent in the GB, the good weather is to blame! (he, hee...)

Apart from this, as I told you the last time I was here, they celebrated the Red Bull Air Race here in Barcelona, in front of my house! The view was splendid from my roof, though I also saw it while resting in the beach itself, it was sooooo hot and sunny, my nose almost got burnt! (not as much, but almost). And the show itself was grrrreeeeaatttt, with some attractive young soldiers falling in their parachutes, and the planes’ and helicopters’ acrobatic movements were fantastic, I have loads of pictures that I’ll send you soon, ok?

Also, today was a national holiday in Spain, today we celebrate that the Spanish conquerors discovered America (so they say), so we celebrate the \"brotherhood\" between Spain and America (specially the Latin America), and also it\'s the festivity of the Spanish Army, this morning they celebrated a huge parade in Madrid, with the presence of the Royal Family and the Government authorities (pppuuuaaaggghhh!!!) and it was very nice, because they made a homage to the flag, and also there were thousands of military people, and also loads of military vehicles, planes, etc. It was nice to see, even in the TV. There was a special moment to remember those who died while \"working\", specially a young soldier who died last Wednesday in Afghanistan.

Hi everyone, I’m back in the GB after another period of absence. I\'ve been reading the last posts (6 pages!) and I almost died laughing, I\'ve been missing so much fun here! We keep having an amazing warm and sunny weather here lately, so I\'ve been making a good use of it, I\'ve been spending loads of time in the beach (5 minutes away from my home, yes Mies, I’m lucky!), they say it\'s sooo good for the bones, and as you know, I must take care of my back (it feels great lately, specially since I started swimming two or three days a week), and also of my left knee, which by the way, it\'s starting to get better and better, since it received a shot of cortisone last Tuesday. It\'s not fully cured yet, but I can bend it much more than a week ago, and it doesn\'t hurt so much, only a little bit when I bend it too much. I still can\'t ride a bike, but... time will tell, I hope I\'ll do it soon, we\'ll see.

Still hot here. Bummer.

I like to read, too, Phillis.

Thanks for the cleeks, Webbie.

Columbus Day today. Lief Erickson and St. Brendan should lobby Congress for equal time. But wait, they\'re dead.

I\'m off to start my week.

Bye.
