Hi. I\'m glad I see everybody is OK here. I was back in Madrid on Sept 27th. My son José María was obliged to be there for his English teaching practices in the Public Secondary School where I worked till I retired. He never thought to do this kind of job. but as he couldn\'t get any job in his speciality, he\'s trying another way. The situation in Spain makes him feel desperate. There are too many people like him. So I came with him. I got a cold despite the good weather. Finally I\'m posting on the GB, to send my love to all of you. Hello Annette. I see you travel too much. Mmmm. It was good to meet you, your husband and your son Robert, so friendly and amiable all of you.. My family and I keep fond memories of that day. I don\'t lose hope to meet Franca, too. Perhaps another time. Say a warm hello to every one.

Hugs, María

Hi Maria...so nice to see you back with us. Annette informed us of your meeting in Santander. I hope Jose Maria enjoys his new career if he follows that path. Also please let him know that we miss his pics which he used send.
Bye for now.

He performed a marvellous concert, two full hours showing his huge ability on his red piano (his fatty fingers move sooooo fast!!!!!) and making us dance and feel emotioned with each and every song! He also displayed some huge inflatable figures on the stage, and he declared several times during the concert his love for Barcelona and for us, Spanish people, it was great!!!! Those who want to receive photos, just tell me. I have videos too, but I won\'t be able to send them, too many Mb. But a great memory of a great night!

Off to sleep now, take care and have fun!

Webmaster-Comment: Hi Mar

Great you enjoyed your concert. Send me one or two of your best Elton pix please.....tnx

Phillis, sorry about your pal’s friend and I hope your own friend will be perfect soon You’re right about cam-5, I’ve never seen such a concert as the one you said, and I’ve never been in London, so I’ve never seen the Beeferters, but I hope I’ll see them some day I\'ll tell you about Elton John soon, thank you for your good wishes!!!!

Yes, Mar--gorgeous weather here, although it\'s turning worse beginning tomorrow. I too get sad and blue with the gray days of winter. Usually November in Texas is full of gray rainy days but October normally gives me \"fall fever\", makes me want to plant things and play outside. Have old photos of the horses, but they\'ve grown so since then...will make photos a project for the next sunny period.

Hi, Mar!

CAM 5 reminds me of a concert I went to centuries ago with Scottish bagpipe players who played and marched. Does anybody know what I\'m talking about? (I usually don\'t!)

Have fun at Elton John\'s tonight!

Mr.Mies, haaa, you’re right, you can’t leave us alone here in the GB, we fight and play and accuse… The baby giraffe is sooooo cute, I’ll answer your mail soon, I promise Bird poop on a sandwich? Uuuggghhh, disgusting!!!!!! The three sets of keys inside the car, this a really funny story, not for you, but for the rest of us, haaa, haaaaa…… Very funny about that Mike Makoski, a man, of course… Good to know you’re able to steal a car, in case we need it some day… Also great to know you had such a great hunting day, friend

Mies, the rope jumping song with the puppy eating soap was nice, thank you Too bad I can’t remember any of our songs in Spanish… Blonde is a state of mind (“FIRE!”, haa, haaa…) and red hair is funny, what about dark brown hair like mine? Your project for your Chimenea sounds a bit complex, I hope you’ll be able to do it properly and soon

Phillis, did you finally get the \"unrelenting sunshine\" you were looking for? I’m looking for the pictures of your horses!!! By the way, you’ve got mail The idea of the key in the dog’s collar is a good one, as long as nobody else’s know it… Poor old Mary, she just tried to keep warm and safe?

Mike N, I agree that it must be nice to have a giraffe as a pet, though I guess it’d be a bit difficult to have it in a small flat like mine, too bad… The excuse for leaving the kids AND THE MOBILE PHONE (!!!) inside the car is that… you’re a man!!! No woman has done this before, right, girls? (fingers crossed and praying)

Hello, All! Been busy. One of my best friends had a heart attack on Friday night (recovering well) and my husband\'s pal was found deceased in bed at age 40! Been dog sitting my friends two month old chihuahua whose favorite chew toy is my right arm and my laptop.

Oh, Mr Mies, I laughed out loud when I read about the dog \"pointing at the clay pigeon shooter\". What a funny sight! I\'ve had a dog or two with that mentality, before.

Jack 2, you must be a joy in real life cause you like to stir things up here! But it was cute--the crack about the 1800\'s. What crime do you suppose she committed?

Liz, thanks for the personal history. I like to know things like that. For no good reason, just curiousity.

Going to run now. Have to pack to stay with my friend while she recovers...hugs to all. Even the Jacks!!

How is Coco?

Annette, great to know you had such a great time in Malta, rest a lot and send pictures soon, please

Steph, too bad about Coco, I hope she’ll get well soon Sorry you already have snow there, too soon, I hope you’ll have a bit os autumm too, not only winter too early

Pat, I also loved rope jumping when I was a child, just like my sisters and all my friends No seagull has pooped on me yet, but I’ll tell you when this happens, after I finish swearing and cursing, of course I’m sure your grandgirls were the beautiest ones in the party, apart of the bride, right? Enjoy your lunch with friends today! It’s a bit colder here today too, autumn is officially here already, I just hope it won’t rain tonight during the concert…

Hello again, friends. I\'ve been a bit lazy lately, I hate October, is the worst month of the year, in October you HAVE TO get used to the cold, to the winter clothes, to the lack of light... It makes me sad and lazy, but I\'ll get used to it, I have to! At least I keep having fun, tonight I\'ll be at Elton John\'s concert, I love him!!!! I hope he\'ll give us a good concert with his old wonderful songs, I\'ll tell you about it soon

That sounds like a good day with the bird dogs, Mr. Mies. The dogs have a good time doing what they are born to do, it\'s a pleasure to see them work, it\'s serious to them and they often do such funny things, it makes you wonder what is going through their minds.

Not much doing on the quail plantations this year, nobody\'s got the money for a hunting trip at the moment. The dogs Susie works with still have to get trained, though, and they and the horses fed and taken care of, but it isn\'t as rushed as usual. Some years I barely see Susie from October to April.

I\'m off to get dressed for lunch. Y\'all have a nice day.

Webbie, Darlin\', you are falling down on the job. Where are the cleeks?

We are havin a little cool weather here, I\'ve had the heat on in the house for a few days. It\'s warming up again, though, and we are not likely to have frost until December. It\'s very refreshing to have a little chill this time of year after the hot summer, and I love it when the mist rises off the ground in the mornings, it makes the world so different.

Webmaster-Comment: Honeybunch I have been away for a few days. I hope to get back in the swing of things quite shortly. It looks like you have been good in my absence as Fr O' has been absent.

Mornin\'...

Nice to see you back home safe and sound, Annette. I\'m sure you had a great time. There\'s nothing for wimmen like a good visit with their lady friends from time to time. I\'m having lunch out today with the 3 other \"Ladies from Lloyd\", we don\'t have time to see each other just to chat and relax as much as we would like, so we just arrange a lunch out from time to time, it\'s great, and today\'s the day!
