Welcome back Treasa, Good to hear your OK.

Thanks for the lighthouse picture Mike Lester. We have several on the coast here. Mies & I visited the New Dungeness Light by Sequim, Wa. It is located on tip of the worlds longest sand spit, a 5 mile walk to get there. But it was worth the effort. We got a tour of the lighthouse & even got to go outside on the railing around the light. We could see all the way to Victoria, B.C. from there. Now I\'ll have to find the pictures, scan them (it was before digital cameras)& send some out. The only bad thing about it was after we got there we found realized it was also a 5 mile walk back on the sandy beach. There were people on horses, but they wouldn\'t pick us up.

OK, you lot, you will never let me live down that speeding ticket I got, will you??!!! I\'m not going to tell you about any more misadventures I might have...I won\'t claim I don\'t drive fast, but I seldom get tickets.

Phillis, I think I saw that same Scottish bagpipe and drum marching band on tour that you were talking about, years ago in Baltimore, they were wonderful. Big production at the Civic Center very colorful in their kilts. I went with my brother, he especially liked it as he used to be the drum major for our local drum and bugle corps when he was a teenager.

Love that lighthouse pic on CAM 5, Mike Lester. I\'ve got a thing for lighthouses. For barns and churches as well. And bridges. I\'m not familiar with U.S. West Coast lighthouses, but the most beautiful one I know on the East Coast is the Cape Hatteras Light, on the Outer Banks in North Carolina...that is one knockout lighthouse.

Continued...

Cont.

Here\'s the only lighthouse song I know:

My father was the keeper of the Eddystone light,

And he courted a mermaid one fine night,

And from this union there came three,

A porpoise and a porgy and the other was me.

Yo ho ho, the wind blows free...

Ah, for a life on the roooooolling sea!

You\'re welcome.

See Ya. I\'ve still got laundry and packing to do.

Hi to all my friends on the good old \'GB\'. Sorry I have been absent for so long, but it has been tough for me. Now however, I am back with the people who helped me through \'thick and thin\' and I am back to stay. I will fill you all in on what has happened. \'The Boss\' and I are fine, and so are the boys and their partners. I will just jump in at the deep end and catch up on the \'goings-on\'. I hope everyone is fine and doing well.

Catch you all tomorrow.....

Love Treasa.

Hi All...So Sorry Phillis for your loss of such a special friend. She was also lucky as she had you too. The way you describe her last moments were touching and brought a lump to Mr. M\'s and my throat.

We would be honored to be on your Christmas greetings list and will send our address soon. I am presuming you mean the street one? Hootie is the name of our daughter\'s long haired cat.

Mike CA, we are actually experiencing a nice day but that won\'t stop us from coming south to CA with Annette...HELLO TO YOU TOO ANNETTE

One more thing... (I stole it from Phillis) hehehehe

Poor Liz, you were nearly the only one here in the last time. I wonder where all the others are. It\'s nice that you hold the fort for all of us. Be strong.

I also miss Treasa and Mick. Mick is away in the Lake District, perhaps. But Treasa wasn\'t here for a lond time. I hope she is okay.

Phillis, sad story about your friend. Don\'t let it get you down. I\'ll mail you tomorrow.

Mr Mies, we already had the first snow but I wasn\'t here. It was last week when I was on Malta. A clever move, eh? But it\'s cold enough this weekend, though the sun was out today. Say \'hello\' to Mies.

Have a nice Sunday all.

Sorry, Jack. I\'m still here. Probably won\'t leave until Monday morning.

Phillis, so sorry to hear about your friend. May she Rest in Peace.

Have you not received any group mailing from me? You can get addresses from that. I e-mailed you some time ago about it. Perhaps your spam catcher is not letting your e-mails through? In general, it is probably not the best idea to put your e-mail address on the Guest Book, sometimes it gets picked up by spammers.

It doesn\'t sound like a very happy time for you right now. I hope that at least the sun is shining on you as nicely as it is shining here. Take Care.

First of all, I love the new nickname: 4 horses. Too funny! As for me, not a good time. I was away taking care of my friend who had a heart attack last friday. Only she had another yesterday and didn\'t make it...she would have loved you funny people. I talked about you to her. The day she died was beautiful. She had extensive gardens and I can just imagine her sitting on her garden bench enjoying all the lovely sunshine of that day. She was a dear, and the last words I heard her say were, \"Thank you, Jesus\". Now that\'s FAITH!

Hope all enjoy their days today. I\'m going to have a good cuddle with my dogs and drink a cup of coffee as hubby has gone to work today.

Another nice picture from Mark Westlake on CAM5. Thanks Mark & Webbie. I see a lot of simularitys between Ireland & Washington State. The same type of rock & trees, the same grasses, the same wind swept mountain areas, & the same wind.

Pat-Have a great trip & keep us posted if you get the chance.

Annette-We\'ve got the cold rain back here too. Snow forecast for next weekend but that gives them 7 days to change their minds, I hope.
