Clear & cold today, bright blue skys, but it was 22F when I left for work. There is a storm coming tomorrow & they are calling for snow early & then rain in the afternoon.

It\'s busy here at work, the flu is going around & people are calling in sick. No cofirmed H1N1 here, but a few customers have been out with it.

Liz, you have your hands full with the the two boys... but sure life would be dull without them. Hope all the family are well, and baby Sean must be getting big now.

Hi Annette, hope everyone in your household is doing well. Regards to Franka and all the family.

Hi Phillis, laundry at midnight, rest girl, midnight is time for rest. Hope your mothers surgery goes well, as Mr. Mies said it is worth it to be pain free. I sent \'The Boss\' to do grocery shopping once years ago. (during the first recession in the 80s, when money was really tight and I was on a really small budget. Anyway we brought all the DEAREST items he could find. End of his shopping days....

Ok everyone I\'m off to work. Stay safe and catch you all later.

Treasa.

Morning everyone,

Overcast and dull here this morning, but no snow - thank goodness. Mr. Mies, I can\'t believe you are coming round to snow time again. Sad story about your customer. I\'m afraid it\'s a daily event around here now.... The world is gone crazy.

Dear Mies, thanks for the posting from Pat. So she is off to Baltimore to visit family. Safe journey Pat, and hopefully you will log on from time to time to keep us posted. Mies, when in Boston (during my US trip in September,) I bought a dream catcher in Quincy Market. Remember you told me about them a long time ago. It really is the prettiest thing.

Phillis-Mies won\'t let me do the shopping, something about not wanting BBQ & beer every night

Give your mom our best wishes on her surgery. I\'ve had both knees replaced & it\'s the best thing I ever did, I can walk again without pain. You can count on Liz to help also

We\'d love to see a picture of that tree.

Just a few random thoughts:

I made the ugliest apple pie. I couldn\'t find my rolling pin; do you think the hubby hid it? Funny, the things I lose.

Out my kitchen window I can see an old crooked tree which has wrapped itself around a telephone pole. I noticed the other day that the tree has wood ants. I hope it survives the winter. That tree is the most interesting thing in my backyard!

Do any of you married men buy the household groceries? I detest grocery shopping, but must stock up before leaving tomorrow to care for mom in the hospital (knee surgery).

It\'s 23:48 Texas time. The last load of laundry is done and so am I.

Liz-I\'ll take sharks over snow & ice any day, all I\'d have to do is keep out of the water. Besides a 20\'er on ultralight tackle. I think that would keep Robert & I busy. I\'d even let him take the hook out of it\'s mouth

Steph, I\'m with you and I wish so much that Bruce will recover soon. Take also good care of yourself. Lots of hugs to you.

Mick, it seems the trouble goes around the GBers. I\'m so sorry about your nephew. My sypathies to all of the family.

Webbie, thanks for the cleeks. They really cheered me up. But I\'m afraid I must refuse your offer for the POD critic. To stay up until 1am our time, then write a critic and then get up at six in the morning for work... ...that\'s more than I can cope with.

Liz, that\'s a funny idea to put a tag on us. So, we couldn\'t get lost. I would write \'deliver at Liz, Brisbane\' on my tag... hehehehe

Hello Mieses and all the others that I missed

Treasa, I had to go back myself to make sure where Pat said she was going, as I missed what she said about it too. I found this post:

I\'m busy myself, little chickens, I am getting ready for a road trip, leaving as soon as I can, (maybe this weekend) and will be gone for several weeks. I\'m looking forward to it, haven\'t had a real vacation for a long time, and I\'m getting very homesick for my other home, and to see my family in Baltimore.

Mornin\' All...Sunny here and I\'m drinking coffee to clear the cobwebs. Funny cleeks... Chicken plucking.hehe... What a way to wake up the brain this morning.

Loved the Mark W. video. Very inspirational and as usual, awesome photos. Thank you so much.

Webbie, Brrrrrrrr, cam 5 today. Beautiful, but could only look at it briefly because of the SN*W...so couldn\'t give it the proper critique that our Ms Pat would do...Hope her foot is is NOT heavy today..

Oh please Liz and the Jacks, you guys should go on the road as a comedy team...You could call yourself \"Two Jacks and a Jenny?\" Or \"A Jenny and Two Jacks?\" \"Liz and the Jacks?\" Phillis is right, she caught on very fast

Off for a second cup...

Oh Webbie, please tell me where Patricia is gone. I read back through the postings but couldn\'t find where she said.

I wouldn\'t dream of applying for the job of POD critic....

Only Pat can do that. I maybe will give you an odd prod if there aren\'t any cleeks coming up. (loved the last ones). Anyway Madam Woo may be watching over us, and reporting to Fr. O Mahoney....

I\'m sure Patricia has left someone in charge of the crayons....

Have a great trip Patricia.

Lovely post card from Mar today. Thanks Mar.

Catch you all later.
