Ha! Webbie had only 2 cleeks up when I started to type, and now he has 4 up. He is watching us.....

Made a special note not to watch the first 2 because I would be crying before work if I did.

Will check them out this evening.... Thanks Webbie.

Webmaster-Comment: ...and thank you too. That was some major trip for one day and in such conditions. Fair play to you.

Morning everyone,

Well the countryside is well and truly afloat. Trip to Dublin made in absolutely atrocious weather, driving rain for the whole 175 miles there and 175 miles back. Spray from trucks meant driving in a thick fog the whole time. (no truckies though he he he). Anyway got home around 10pm safe and sound but very tired. Consultation went well, but these things take years to come to fruition. He will have to wait at least 18months to 2 years, but hopefully things will happen sooner.

Will write longer this afternoon,

Take care everyone. catch you all later.

Steph & Webbie-Thanks for the link to CaringBridge, we get the updates on Bruce through our e-mail. Steph please keep us informed how you\'re doing, we hope you are taking care of yourself through all this.

We had an NPI (new product introduction) on the newest updated motor grader today, complete with BBQ burgers & dogs. I\'m not sure how I\'ll adjust to joy stick steering, GPS AccuGrade grade control & the quietest cab in the industry. We\'ll all have to go back to class to learn this one & the new D7E (E for electric) is coming next year.

Hehehehe, Pat, you probably need Madam Woo to help you with that dog. I\'m sure she knows what to do...

Steph, great to hear Bruce is doing better. I hope so much for you that he\'ll be home soon.

Treasa, I also hope you had a safe journey. Greatings from Franka. She was here over the weekend.

Mies, how is it coming along with your leaf jumping practice? Mick will help you out with leaves when you don\'t have enough... hehehehe

Liz, Reghan is one year at school soon. Does she already know the alphabet? Or can she already read at all? I have no idea how fast the pupils in Oz learn to read.

OK, you guys, cut it out. As soon as I leave, you begin to mailign my driving practices and everything else. I categorically deny all accusations. Never hit over 90 all the way here, but a trooper car passed me doing at least 110 on I-95. He didn\'t even glance my way.

Steph, I am glad Bruce is improving. Take care of yourself, too, Sweetie. Had to pop in here to find out how he\'s doing.

My family is keeping me busy...seem to be kind of glad to see me. The only bad thing so far is that my brother\'s little stupid Pomeranian dog, \"Binkie\" hates me. I don\'t know what he\'s thinking, but I\'ll analyse that and bring him under my spell soon. He didn\'t bite me yet, but he has offered to. I told my brother I only am letting Binkie live because he loves his little dog, and I respect that.

Y\'all behave till I get back.

Morning everyone,

Just a quick jump in before I head off. Got to drive my brother to Dublin today for assessment for his lung transplant. Hate driving to Dublin, it\'s a long journey.. but he is not able to go by train as he needs oxygen at all times. GP advised him not to go by ambulance due to dangers of H1N1.

Steph, so glad that Bruce is improving. He will be home with you pretty soon.

Everyone else stay safe.

Catch you all later.

Treasa.

Thanks Webbie for adding the site. Sorry for everyone elses pain. Mar, I didn\'t read back to see how everyone was doing. Your summary helped me see what was going on. I too am sorry for the loss of family, friends and pets. May your hearts be comforted too! I had a turkey hotdog today for lunch! Yummy!!!

Thanks for the comments on his page, and check back for daily updates. Bruce is doing better. I do miss him, but he is fighting.

Many Loves and Hugs,

Mick-Spicy Parsnip soup sounds good, but I think I\'ll make a large crockpot of Elk Chilli for Caleb & I next weekend. As for movies being based on fact I refer to a quote from The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, \"When legend becomes fact, print the legend.\" Our farm in South Dakota had several old Indian camp sites on it & we would find arrowheads after rain storms. There were also several mounds on the hill above us that were thought to be burial mounds made after a smallpox epidmic. We also had bootleggers making moonshine in a homemade still, during prohibition, just up the creek a ways. On a flat stretch a mile away they unloaded a plane of Canadian whiskey & some of the local boys found it & hide several of the bottles under rocks & bushes. We would still find the empty bottles, the corks rotted out, in the 1950\'s when I lived there.

Hi All. Beautiful sunny day here today, Yesterday we had the strong winds Mick spoke of, the last of our leaves are down & blown into deep piles along the fence. Mies & Caleb got lots of the raked last week, about 25 bags full. Now they will be taken to Caleb\'s other Granddad\'s organic farm to be mulched into the vegetable beds.

Hello chaps

Mar - What a nice person you are.

Great pic on 5 took some similar shots myself in the week.

Big wind today (darn beans)don\'t reckon there\'ll be many leaves left on the trees tomorrow.

Just made my first batch of spicy parsnip soup (scrummy) reckon winter must be on the way.

Mr Mies - you got me wondering how many more westerns are based on fact.
