Morning everyone,

Just a quick jump in before I head off. Got to drive my brother to Dublin today for assessment for his lung transplant. Hate driving to Dublin, it\'s a long journey.. but he is not able to go by train as he needs oxygen at all times. GP advised him not to go by ambulance due to dangers of H1N1.

Steph, so glad that Bruce is improving. He will be home with you pretty soon.

Everyone else stay safe.

Catch you all later.

Treasa.

Thanks Webbie for adding the site. Sorry for everyone elses pain. Mar, I didn\'t read back to see how everyone was doing. Your summary helped me see what was going on. I too am sorry for the loss of family, friends and pets. May your hearts be comforted too! I had a turkey hotdog today for lunch! Yummy!!!

Thanks for the comments on his page, and check back for daily updates. Bruce is doing better. I do miss him, but he is fighting.

Many Loves and Hugs,

Steph

Mick-Spicy Parsnip soup sounds good, but I think I\'ll make a large crockpot of Elk Chilli for Caleb & I next weekend. As for movies being based on fact I refer to a quote from The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, \"When legend becomes fact, print the legend.\" Our farm in South Dakota had several old Indian camp sites on it & we would find arrowheads after rain storms. There were also several mounds on the hill above us that were thought to be burial mounds made after a smallpox epidmic. We also had bootleggers making moonshine in a homemade still, during prohibition, just up the creek a ways. On a flat stretch a mile away they unloaded a plane of Canadian whiskey & some of the local boys found it & hide several of the bottles under rocks & bushes. We would still find the empty bottles, the corks rotted out, in the 1950\'s when I lived there.

Hi All. Beautiful sunny day here today, Yesterday we had the strong winds Mick spoke of, the last of our leaves are down & blown into deep piles along the fence. Mies & Caleb got lots of the raked last week, about 25 bags full. Now they will be taken to Caleb\'s other Granddad\'s organic farm to be mulched into the vegetable beds.

Hello chaps

Mar - What a nice person you are.

Great pic on 5 took some similar shots myself in the week.

Big wind today (darn beans)don\'t reckon there\'ll be many leaves left on the trees tomorrow.

Just made my first batch of spicy parsnip soup (scrummy) reckon winter must be on the way.

Mr Mies - you got me wondering how many more westerns are based on fact.

Hiya Mar, Yup, looks like the GB family is making God do overtime.

Well Webbie, it IS strange that every time Lead-Foot P leaves for a trip she makes \"that\" visit to Bob The Mechanic. I guess all the eye batting, flirting, & sweet talking paid off after all.....

María Asunción, hello again, I hope the cold you got is gone, and that your son is enjoying his work, even if its not his speciality. You’re right, the situation in Spain is too bad This cat in the photo in cam-5 some days ago was really beautiful As I told Annette, I hope I’ll meet you some day too

Phillis, I hope you feel a bit better these days, and your mom too I’m sure that apple pie was delicious, even though it didn’t have the perfect shape Don’t trust on Mr.Mies and Liz’s help about knee surgery, they offered it to me not too long ago, and I must tell you: their techniques are sort of… weird… or worse… I’d also love to see pictures of that twisted tree

Webbie, Treasa is right, no one will be able to criticize the Pod as Pat does it, she’s the best at it Haa, haaa, tell that anonymous caller to slow down the speed of her truckie and to take care of herself while driving… and to keep away from road authorities… I also think the Lead-Foot Patty is going to kick your as* after she reads your suggestions about her relationship with Bob the mechanic, ha, haaa…

Pat, I didn’t know you were travelling, you’re allowed to drive fast, but safe, ok? Is Baltimore a nice place? Apart of having the family there, do you like this area? We’ll be missing you a lot while you’re away, come back soon, please

Annette, I envy you so much for having met María Asunción, I hope I’ll meet her some day, right, María? Too bad it’s already cold there in your area, it’s still warm here, but it’ll change soon, I guess Your “Autumn Readings” activity sounds really interesting
