The insurance adjuster was a tiny young lady who made me feel like a giant at my 5\'0. The repairs are going to be crazy--replace half kitchen cabinets, all the floor and countertops! No $ amount yet. Will send written estimate. Yikes! Glad to hear all seem to be faring well.

Hello everyone, I missed the GB the last days. Too much work and too many events here during the week. I couldn\'t even welcome Pat.

So... Welcome back, Pat. Nice to hear you had a great trip. And thanks a lot for your beautiful photos. I will have a closer look at them over the weekend and also show Mr A. Sorry, I had to laugh about your \'ditsy happening of the day\'. It somehow reminded me of a similar \'ditsy happening\' here. Someone slipped an old banana in Robert\'s school rucksack... and the banana got a bit older over the weekend... and nobody noticed it... and Robert put all the books and folders and papers in the rucksack... The result was that there was no single book or paper that didn\'t have a broad \'banana-mush\' stripe at the lower end. Some papers and books flew right in the paper bin and I had to buy them again. Some others we could clean a bit and also dried them on the floor for some days.

Hi Treasa...Just on my way to bed and thought I\'d peek in here first...

Yes, I think we can replace a lost license on line, but not renew it? Probably because of the photo that\'s needed on it... One other thing I noticed. They had about a dozen stalls to assist people in the renewing process, but only three actively doing it...Budget cuts are probably to blame...grrrrrr...

Sorry about all that rain...Terrible for those who lost property.

Off I go

Morning everyone. No... I didn\'t get swept away by the rain, but most of the country did. Last night on the news we saw pictures of homes and cars in Cork (not too far from here) that were flooded and swept away. Anyway today is bright, and no rain promised until evening.....

Where has the week gone? Time is going so fast I can\'t keep up. Just read the page that opened and I see that Mies is REALLY mad. I thought that waiting time applied only in Ireland, but I see it\'s a world wide thing.

I think that the last time I renewed my driving licence, I sent it by post. Can you do that there?? Dear Mies, you need a glass of wine and to relax after that experience.

I am so happy to see Patricia is back. I can\'t wait to read her stories. I still have to visit Webbies cleeks.

But now, off to work with me.

Catch you all later.

Treasa.

I don\'t know if this counts as a ditsy story, but more of one making a wrong choice....

Today Caleb & I went to the DMV to renew his driving permit...Grrrrrrr Upon arriving there, you have to stand in line to get a number and wait 3 hours. I am not exaggerating. When we were given our number they said the wait was 3 frikken hours! And judging by the billions of people that were there, it was believable... We decided to run and get a few things at a store that was near by. We rushed back, only staying away ONE hour of the three hour wait, and guess what???? You got it!!! They were calling number 438. Our number was 437! P*NK!!!... We had a choice of taking a new number, (the wait was now 4 hours longer), or returning tomorrow. I said FORKET and we left....grrrrrrrr...

I liked the \"Let It Be Me\" cleek, it had me singing along.

Love the cam 5 photo...Great shot capturing dogs having a wonderful time running on the beach...I wish I was doing that instead of what I did do today...

Pat-We just finished your pictures. Your right Savannah is a very beautiful city. One we\'d like to visit someday.

Good thing you haven\'t been here the last few mornings. There has been freezing fog & many accidents & slide-offs for her to blame you for too

Nice picture on CAM5 today Mark Westlake. Dogs & surf I\'ll bet Mick will like it too.

Hey, Mr. Mies. There are a few Catahoula Leopards around here, and we do have quite a few wild pigs, but I understand they (those dogs) are more numerous in the mid-South, like Tennessee. The setters should do right well on quail.

What, did Mies sleep all day while you were out with the setters? She hasn\'t been on here accusing me of forcing any lttle old ladies off the road lately. Tell her I still love her, even though she treats me badly.

See ya.

Poor Steph and Treasa, I hope your sick ones are doing better. They are all in my prayers. My prayers are getting longer. I may have to turn some of that job over to Erica the Swedish Tourist, she ought to be expected to do SOMETHING useful. Hehehehehe. I\'m runnin\', Webbie.

Pat-A Catahoula Leopard Dog is used mostly for hunting Wild Boar & we only have a few of those around here. But I like their looks, I\'m not sure in the fog we had yesterday it would have helped. At least Ruff had a beeper collar on so we could hear where he was. He\'s so smart, he doesn\'t like the beep so he would shake his head every few minutes so it wouldn\'t go off. We are going to take his daughter next Sunday to work a few quail.

Here\'s the \"ditsy happening of the day\".

I came home from the office and was unlocking the back door, with the tote I carry papers I\'m working on back and forth from office to home. Tote bag hanging on my wrist, and what was left of my iced tea from lunch in a paper cup in the same hand, and somehow lost my grip on the paper cup, and it slowly turned over and spilled the tea into the tote bag. Bummer. Now I\'ve got papers spread out drying all over the living room floor. Kind of reminiscent of the coins spilling out of my purse into the gear box, same helpess feeling watching it happen, like a bad dream in slow motion. Oh, well, I haven\'t set anything on fire lately, so I won\'t complain.

Ha, speaking of dogs, there are 3 of them on CAM 5! Good shot, Mark Westlake. That must be a heavy bata, it takes 3 of them to carry it. Dogs just want to have fun. Thanks for the cleeks, too, Webbie. I kind of liked the harmony on the last one, how did they do that? It looks like the woman added her voice to the one the man had posted earlier. Can\'t imagine how that was done, but it was neat.

Good Morning, Liz. I hope you are having a nice day.

Mar, that\'s interesting that you have a St. Martin\'s Day. We call that period of a few warm, sunny days of Autumn that often happens after it has turned cold \"Indian Summer\". Have a nice weekend visiting your friends.

Mr. Mies, seeing a white dog in the fog must be as hard as seeing a black dog at night. Maybe an \"Appaloosa dog\" is the answer. I made that breed up, but have you ever seen a Catahoula Leopard dog? I\'ve only ever seen one, but it is a real breed, and they are kind of strange.

I\'m of to check out the POD.

Liz, how was your birthday celebration? A great one, I hope

Webbie, very nice clips again, thank you!

Steph, I hope you\'ll give us good news soon

María Asunción, how are you lately, friend? Is it too cold in Madrid? Do you have your \"Saint Martin\'s little summer\" there?

Pat, yesterday it was Saint Martin, and I don’t know why, the weather is always sunnier and warmer around this day, and actually it was sunnier and warmer today here, I hope it’ll last for the whole weekend! I also loved your photos, beautiful!

Phillis, fight this insurance adjuster as he deserves, don’t let him win the battle!

Mies, are you sure it was all a Webbie’s trick? Mmm, I don’t know…

(folks, I\'m recommending Carlos to visit the East Coast of Irelan taking the Dart from one extreme to the other, I think it\'s a good way to start knowing Ireland, do you agree?)

Hello everybody, how are you today? I\'m feeling great, because:

1-the weekend starts in less than one day!

2-this weekend I\'ll be in another city (Zaragoza) visiting some friends and their wonderful children, sooo great!

3-Today I rode a bike again after over 8 months unable to do it due to my knee problems and pains, and guess what? It was perfect! It didn\'t hurt, nothing hurt, I felt great! I know it\'s just a simple stupid detail, but I feel sooo happy today after all the disgusting times during the last months... I just had to share it with you!!! I just hope you also have events to celebrate!
