Hey, Mr. Mies. There are a few Catahoula Leopards around here, and we do have quite a few wild pigs, but I understand they (those dogs) are more numerous in the mid-South, like Tennessee. The setters should do right well on quail.

What, did Mies sleep all day while you were out with the setters? She hasn\'t been on here accusing me of forcing any lttle old ladies off the road lately. Tell her I still love her, even though she treats me badly.

See ya.

Poor Steph and Treasa, I hope your sick ones are doing better. They are all in my prayers. My prayers are getting longer. I may have to turn some of that job over to Erica the Swedish Tourist, she ought to be expected to do SOMETHING useful. Hehehehehe. I\'m runnin\', Webbie.

Bye!

Pat-A Catahoula Leopard Dog is used mostly for hunting Wild Boar & we only have a few of those around here. But I like their looks, I\'m not sure in the fog we had yesterday it would have helped. At least Ruff had a beeper collar on so we could hear where he was. He\'s so smart, he doesn\'t like the beep so he would shake his head every few minutes so it wouldn\'t go off. We are going to take his daughter next Sunday to work a few quail.

Here\'s the \"ditsy happening of the day\".

I came home from the office and was unlocking the back door, with the tote I carry papers I\'m working on back and forth from office to home. Tote bag hanging on my wrist, and what was left of my iced tea from lunch in a paper cup in the same hand, and somehow lost my grip on the paper cup, and it slowly turned over and spilled the tea into the tote bag. Bummer. Now I\'ve got papers spread out drying all over the living room floor. Kind of reminiscent of the coins spilling out of my purse into the gear box, same helpess feeling watching it happen, like a bad dream in slow motion. Oh, well, I haven\'t set anything on fire lately, so I won\'t complain.

Ha, speaking of dogs, there are 3 of them on CAM 5! Good shot, Mark Westlake. That must be a heavy bata, it takes 3 of them to carry it. Dogs just want to have fun. Thanks for the cleeks, too, Webbie. I kind of liked the harmony on the last one, how did they do that? It looks like the woman added her voice to the one the man had posted earlier. Can\'t imagine how that was done, but it was neat.

Good Morning, Liz. I hope you are having a nice day.

Mar, that\'s interesting that you have a St. Martin\'s Day. We call that period of a few warm, sunny days of Autumn that often happens after it has turned cold \"Indian Summer\". Have a nice weekend visiting your friends.

Mr. Mies, seeing a white dog in the fog must be as hard as seeing a black dog at night. Maybe an \"Appaloosa dog\" is the answer. I made that breed up, but have you ever seen a Catahoula Leopard dog? I\'ve only ever seen one, but it is a real breed, and they are kind of strange.

I\'m of to check out the POD.

Mr.Mies, nope, I never tried to find a white dog in the fog, in fact, I never tried to find a white dog anywhere… (silly me!) Did you rest enough already after walking sooo much?

Liz, how was your birthday celebration? A great one, I hope

Webbie, very nice clips again, thank you!

Steph, I hope you\'ll give us good news soon

María Asunción, how are you lately, friend? Is it too cold in Madrid? Do you have your \"Saint Martin\'s little summer\" there?

Pat, yesterday it was Saint Martin, and I don’t know why, the weather is always sunnier and warmer around this day, and actually it was sunnier and warmer today here, I hope it’ll last for the whole weekend! I also loved your photos, beautiful!

Phillis, fight this insurance adjuster as he deserves, don’t let him win the battle!

Mies, are you sure it was all a Webbie’s trick? Mmm, I don’t know…

(folks, I\'m recommending Carlos to visit the East Coast of Irelan taking the Dart from one extreme to the other, I think it\'s a good way to start knowing Ireland, do you agree?)

Hello everybody, how are you today? I\'m feeling great, because:

1-the weekend starts in less than one day!

2-this weekend I\'ll be in another city (Zaragoza) visiting some friends and their wonderful children, sooo great!

3-Today I rode a bike again after over 8 months unable to do it due to my knee problems and pains, and guess what? It was perfect! It didn\'t hurt, nothing hurt, I felt great! I know it\'s just a simple stupid detail, but I feel sooo happy today after all the disgusting times during the last months... I just had to share it with you!!! I just hope you also have events to celebrate!

A great day today, a few more birds than last year, but 2 hard winters has taken it toll on our wild pheasant populations. The setters worked very hard & it was all I could do to keep up. We must have walked 10 miles, but the weather was great after the morning fog burned off. Have you ever tried to find a white dog in the fog?

I forgot to say \"Hello\" to you, Janey Mack in Ireland. Seems you have a pretty accurate take on the two Jacks, but I don\'t know what a love spanner is. A spanner is a \"wrench\" in American English, used to get a little leverage and a grip to put some torque on a bolt, but I don\'t know where the love part comes in. If the definition is suitable for a family Guest Book like this one, will you tell me? Otherwise, Father O will be handing out penances, and Webbie will be bleeping away.

Now I am really going to hit the BFC.

Yo, Mies and Liz. You sneaked in while I was out posting.

Ah, Erica, the Swedish Tourist. She\'s the one that Webbie meets up at the ProCathedral, to pray with. She must be one powerful pray-er, because he does that all the time. He says he\'s praying for the salvation of our souls, but I don\'t know what Erica is praying for. Maybe Father O\'Mahoney has a handle on that. We\'ll ask him.

Gotta go, Chickies, I\'ve had a long day on the computer and my eyes have gone crossed.

Bye!

Hello, Maria Asuncion, my dear. How are you? Is it cold in Madrid, now? Mar says it is getting chilly in Barcelona.

Lovely Hawaii seascape on CAM 5, Dee Langevin. That water is a beautiful color. You take pictures in so many wonderful places, you must be racking up the \"Frequent Flyer\" miles, and thanks for sharing them with us.

You\'re welcome, Phillis. I think we all enjoy sharing our photos, and I know I love getting them, it\'s like having a little mini-vacation to a new place to me. Watch out for that skunk.

Cont.

How was the ramble with the English Setters, Mr. Mies? We saw a ring-necked pheasant really up close while driving in the Pennsylvania mountains last week, it came right out of the brush on to the road in front of us, but turned and jumped back in just in time, a few more seconds and we\'d have hit it it, which would have been too bad. What a beautiful bird! I\'ve seen them at a distance across a field, but I\'ve never seen one that close up in the wild.

I hadn\'t heard my neighborhood owls for some time, I thought maybe they had left the area, but I heard them hooting again last night, what a nice way to get to sleep.

I\'ve worked too much on the computer today, it\'s given me about half a headache. I\'m off to take some Advils and sit in the Big Fat Chair to read for a while. I have an unfinished Agatha Christie Miss Marple that\'s calling to me.

Y\'all take Care.

Hope you veteran\'s have been properly honored on this day. The local Lions Clubs always give a dinner for the vets and cops on this day. I never knew why they added the cops to the invitation...

The hubby and granddaughter are out working on the fence, but I fled when the skunk came out to play. It\'s near dusk here, a perfect time for these stinky creatures to dine.

Pat, thank you for the photos. They were great.

Tomorrow is the insurance adjuster. We\'ll see what happens...have a nice evening all.
